Black looked over at Zelda. "There are four elements. Fire, water, earth and wind." He began to explain.
((I never said they seemed to be two different people... And no, Black and White are both calm when they are apart...))

"The four elements were unfused into what was the Piccori Sword." White added after Black.
"And that sword was then used to seal Vaati." Black said.
"But, that was a different time entirely." White explained.
"But, we believe that if the Master Sword were infused with the elements, it may become powerful enough to kill Ganondorf." Black finished.

Zelda smiled. "That's what I believed you were talking about. I think that will work too. But the elements are in the Picori Sword, aren't they?"
*that's not what happened in the manga...*

((I've seen a playthrough of the game... I'm pretty sure the Piccori Sword is infused with the four elements and used to defeat Vaati... Vaati was then sealed in the sword after Zelda wished everything back to normal using the minish cap... A detail or two may be out of place, but that the gist of it.))
"No, they were taken out and hidden again." White and Black both answered.

Zelda made a strange face. "Oh. Then I guess Father," -she said the word bitterly- "lied to me."

Zelda's face showed a rare emotion for her; anger. "He said the Picori Sword, and the Elements with them, were destroyed by Gannon. And that..." She winced in pain. "The Picori were a myth. A bogus legend..."

"The Piccori are no myth. He only refuses to believe in them because only children can see them." White explained as he and Black looked at Zelda.

Zelda looked even angrier. "Now I know he lied, I can analyze the memory. Something was wrong with him anyway. He was awful, not like most Hyrulien kings... He didn't want me happy..."

Zelda's anger turned into an even more rare emotion; sadness. "He was the worst king Hyrule has ever had. No one was really upset when he died. He cause poverty and other awful things."

Link traveled back up the stairs and peeked into Zelda's room. He smiled for a brief moment; Zelda made him so happy. He want to the spare room, pulled out some paper and ink. He quickly scribbled out a note:
Dear Zelda, I know you wanted to come with me on my quest, but I wanted to set out again. I'll feel better if I had to first element found. I don't want you hurt Zelda, so please don't try to look for me. I didn't want you hurt; I never wanted you involved with Ganondorf again. Please take care, Zelda. I'll be back with the first element as soon as I can.
~Link
Link read over the note, then hurried downstairs again, making sure the sword was in its sheath. He place the note in the kitchen and headed out.

White and Black both noticed Link, but showed no sign of it. They looked at each other and nodded. "I will be back later. There's something I must do." Black explained and headed out of the room and into the kitchen. "Did you really think you would be allowed to go alone?" He asked Link.
