Askari licked Denji's cheek, Sorry, I didn't mean to.. she mewed, laying her head down on Denji's shoulder and over her paws.

"It's alright. Brain is better than my side." He muttered as he pulled up Askari's shirt to reveal a scar where his wound had been. "Ha, that's not going to reopen! Are you tired?" He asked, bending his hand back to stroke her head.

Envy followed after them as her dog form. She didn't like to talk while she was dog, but at the mention of water she shivered. She actually hated water. She patted her paw to the ground as ember suddenly floated up and burned out and fell back down.

Askari nudged her head under his hand, Not really, just kinda exhausted, I guess.., she told him, purring.

"You should rest a little then." Denji muttered as he picked up Envy to go faster. With both of them in his hands, he ran as fast as he could down the mountain and out of the village. Then he put Envy down. "Envy, can you swim or do you want me to go back for you?"

Envy looked up at him and whimpered a bit. But she shook her head as she looked determined. "I can swim." She barked.

"Alright then." Denji muttered and swam across the river, making sure he didn't get Askari wet. When eh reached the other side, he placed Askari down carefully and shook himself dry.

Envy had followed after Denji. She scampered out of the water and walked away from the two as she shook her fur. Her fur stood out as she rolled over and wagged her tail.
