Lol, I felt the same way when I missed a day so much earlier than you XDD;;

Mermaid! I had a bunch of trouble with the hands, but had fun challenging myself to do an arm in receding perspective and using a gestural method to work out the figure. :3 Luckily, once it's all cleaned up, you can't see the parts where I struggled nearly as much! http://i.imgur.com/YYWir.png

Just spent ages trawling this thread trying to find an answer, that I know has been asked (I just never read the answer too)... So maybe someone can help?
If a piece fits two consecutive themes, can it be submitted as long as the minimum time has been spent for both days?
My helmet has a mermaid on it that I'd love to get started on.
And just realised in doing so, that I hardly ever post except to submit as I rush out the door. But got to go and revisit all the great pieces I missed.

I think supposedly it's supposed to be separate pieces. You could always just do the mermaid itself as a separate thing, and then add it to the helmet after? xd

I've seen avies with alot more details... -___-; Usually those avies that are really girly have the most details when they have many items. Since each item alone already has many details. ^^;

But.... drakokatze has a point. I've definitely done a piece in separate chunks and turned those chunks in as their own drawings, then added them together later.

females: 37
males: 70
counting them like "1 drawing with 4 guys in it = 1 male",

i drew males way more, i guess.
