Tam shakes his head. "I said soon... not immediately. Ye had until the spring thaw to do so. Are ye alright, ye look a bit winded there." He kneels down in the snow, getting more than a few unhappy hisses from the salamanders on his legs and wraps his coat about Kero, salamander and all. "Not food, he warns the lizard and tries to pick Kero up. "Ugh, ye've grown quite a bit, kiddo. Think ye can make it in on yer own?"

"Don't tell me... you told it to her in the middle of a blizzard..." laughs Tam softly following him inside.

She reaches up with her book and bops him on the nose. "If you want to scare me don't come in shouting. Why announce yourself then try something as silly as that?" she asks marking her page and putting it aside. She looks up and spies Talesian and jumps to her feet. "Master Talesian, what happened to you? Your all skin and bones! Thank heavens we aren't experiencing the wind storms of last month, you'd have been blown away!"

Concerned she has Tam sit down on her exaimnation table and gives him a good going over. Warning Kero over her shoulder not to touch the cocoa until she's through. "There's plenty for all of us, but I need to scrounge up some mugs."

She turns to Tam with a frown. "Physically, you appear to be fine, if a bit undernourished. I did notice that you had been losing a bit of weight in the lion form but with all that fur on her, I never knew how much. Mayhaps you/she was worried about something... or unhappy. To be honest, Talesian, you were really a basket case for the first year or so that you walked on all fours. You were awfully unhappy and although you tried to hide it, I did manage to get you to confide in me from time to time. So you cannot remember any of this?"

Tam sadly shakes his head no.

Tam sees this and nudges Shar with a grin, who quietly moves the cocoa to another spot while Kero's eyes are closed and he is trying his hardest not to move or make a sound. They wait to see what he will do and say when he realizes he's been tricked.

Sha laughs and tells Kero to go to the cupboard in her office and retrieve two more mugs. While he is in there, she turns to Tam and asks bluntly. "So you didn't break the spell, he did, right?"

Tam shrugs in reply. "Probably. Hope and I both told you what he is. We had to. Guess he's waking up finally... albeit slowly... very very slowly. I wish... I wish I could have held him there at that last stage just a tiny bit more..."

Shar looks at Tam as she pours cocoa for them and refills her own mug. "Come see me tomorrow, while Kero is with Mica. We need to talk." She hands Kero is mug and smiles. "So Mica gave us a holiday, huih? No math for you and free time for me... so why are you back up here anyway?"

Tam chuckles taking a sip of the rich brew. "He decided I needed to see you and wouldn't take no for an answer." he explained wiping away a chocolaty mustache.
