Dalton did a couple of movies before Pierce Brosnan came onto the scene. I'm just glad that he didn't take the role when it was first offered to him (1969, On Her Majesty's Secret Service.) because then we wouldn't have had the Roger Moore films.
And the way you say that implies that I'm old...
