Jei smiled. "There is no need to thank me, really. Now, let us leave this place. It is quite depressing." Jei said, as he started walking to the stairs.
Upon climbing them and getting outside, he turned to Iyla, and smiled in the slightest. "Now, would you like to be carried, or would you like to ride piggy-back?" Jei said, stretching out his enourmous wings. I wonder what her reaction will be to this. Most everybody doesn't want to fly. Jei thought, awaiting an answer.

Fayte's ears drooped. "Home..." It was a word she hadn't heard in a long time. "That sounds... nice." She smiled in spite of herself, and turned to face forward once again. In the momentary silence that followed, she focussed on the sound of the carriage moving along the road. Once that silence was broken, she stiffened slightly. "I don't know, really. I lost track of time, but I think I was there for several months." She paused to contemplate how much to tell him. In the end, she decided that she shouldn't attempt to keep secrets from him. "I'd been here once before, but that was when I was much younger, and when I could still see."

Iyla blinked, her mouth opening in shock for a moment. She quickly closed it. "I would rather be carried," she said softly, nodding to him with a smile. She allowed the smile to guadually drop, though, and replaced it with a slightly nonchalant look. "I have never been flying before, truthfully. But I suppose you know what you're doing."
She stood before him, relaxed and at ease. She figured it would be wisest to allow a certain amount of trust to form, otherwise it would be a rocky start to the slave-master relationship. Though she didn't plan on handing out any freebies, there was a part of her that wanted to get to know this person, wanted to trust him. Therefore, she took a step or two closer, putting her hand on his upper chest and waiting patiently, completely unphased-looking.
[[ Oh, it's perfectly alright, I understand completely. xD ]]

I bet home does sound nice to her. She hasn't been in a real home for a long time. Lein thought sadly. It was a pity, so many people being sold as though they were cattle. Too bad Lein couldn't do anything about it except buy and free a slave. Shaking the thought off, he returned himself to reality, listening to Fayte.
"Several months is a long time to be in that hellish place. I really do not know how people can stand it." Lein said, sinking into the seat a little, imagining himself as a slave. I guess it's good that I freed her, then. The images conjuring up in my mind certainly aren't pleasant. Lein thought, once again forcing himself back into reality. "When you could still see? I guess you weren't born blind then." Lein said, looking now to Fayte.

Jei smiled, and put an arm behind her back, placing the other one behind her knees. 'Never been flying? I'm sure you'll find it exhilarating." he said, with a slight smile. With Iyla secured and safe in the bridal carry, Jei's wings started moving up and down with tremendous force, causing the leves that were settled on the ground to be whipped up furiously. Soon after, Jei's feet left the ground, his powerful wings overcoming gravity.
"Won't take us long now." Jei commented, as they started to rise above the treeline. Once over the treeline, Jei's wings propelled them forwards, heading towards Jei's home. The wind that was now pushing against Jei and Iyla forced Jei's ahir to whip about wildly behind him, as if possessed. "So what do you think of flying?" Jei said over the wind.

The moment Jei first took off, a surge of adreniline started pumping through Iyla's veins, and she was enjoying every second of it. The surprised woman had even released her initial death-grip on the man's shirt. "It's wonderful..." she murmured before realizing what had slipped through her lips. Projecting over the tell-tale sounds of flying, Iyla spoke.
"It's exhilarating, though I can imagine it to be energy consuming." Taking her own hair into account, Iyla quickly gathered up the flying black mane and managed to keep it all in one place as the wind rushed by. Her expression was apathetic but her body language spoke of other things. Iyla was keeping a watchful eye out for any sign of the home she would soon be living in. As a slave, it was not only in her best interest, but something she really, really wanted to know about.
Things really weren't going too badly. She licked her lips, closing her eyes. If they ever did become close, this was one thing she would ask of him often: to take her out flying.

Jei chuckled a little bit at her first comment, then shook his head. "It isn't energy consuming. I do this all the time, so my wings are used to long treks, and because of that they are strong enough to carry the weight of two people no problem." Jei explained, smiling down to her reassuringly.
"Ready?" Jei suddenly let out, smiling mischeviously. After he said this they suddenly did a sharp dive, heading towards the ground on a crash course. A few feet from the ground, Jei leveled out, slowing them down. As he landed, he looked to Iyla. "You alright?" he asked. They now stood outside his house.
((The house is to be described in the next post.))

SirAuronPD Sythe reacted in time this time, catching Vanity in mid-fall. "You really have got to learn to stop doing that." Sythe said, smiling to her. "Sooner or later you'll get hurt." he added. Realising he was still holding her, he let go. "You're alright this time, though, right?" he asked. She is quite the curious girl. She falls alot. Sythe thought, inwardly chuckling. Vanity was braced for the hard fall...but it didn't come, instead she landed in...Sythe's arms? She looked up at him with a feeling of curiosity in her eyes as to what he was doing, "You really have got to learn to stop doing that." He smiled down at her, "Sooner or later you'll get hurt." Vanity didn't know why but she just didn't say anything for the time being that he was holding her. He finaly let go and she found her "balance" once again,"You're alright this time thought right?" She nodded shyly still somewhat flustered and mumbling a thank you to him as she positioned hee head downwards having developed such an interest in shoes all of a sudden. Why am i acting this way, i've never acted this way!? Eep, is my face burning?! Soon Vanity realised she let her "gaurd" down and so continued with her "Routine" of smileing and nodding towards Sythe so he wouldn't get any suspicions, "I'm fine." I am so lying.

Sythe sighed a little. "Good. Now, since you are fine, let's go on that walk we were talking about, shall we?" Sythe said, a small smile spread across his lips. I wonder why she is blushing? Sythe thought, looking down to her before removing his attention to the world outside the mansion. Shaking the thought he turned and started walking to the door that led outside. "Coming?" he asked, lookng back to Vanity, as he held the door open.

Just as Iyla was about to open her mouth and comment on the man's physical prowess, they dove.
It was not until he inquired about her, though, that she allowed the frightened little "eep!" to pop out of her mouth. She quickly smoothed back her hair, standing up straight and tall. Her hands were red, and her knuckles were going from a pale color to their normal one. Her grip had been one of steel the second the idea occured to her that they could be on a crash course to doom. That was about 100 feet from the ground, of course. She was a fighter. The idea of death didn't really occur to her as seriously or as often as it should have.
"Do you do that often?" she said a little breathlessly, looking a bit confused, or maybe dizzy. She put her hand on her head to steady herself, then released her head to look up at him. Such beautiful blue eyes... but, she quickly realized what she was forgetting. Turning, she gazed longingly at the house. She was in awe.

Soon Vanity's smile replaced her feelings and worries as she followed Sythe outside the Mansion. She breathed in the fresh air and closed her eyes wanting to take in every breath of the outside. She opened her eyes to see that the sun was barely over the horizon, giving the soon to be night sky an orangey glow. There was a slight breeze in the midsummer air and it felt god to be out at such a time. Vanity was so cuaght up in the atmoshpere she had almost forgot that Sythe was right beside her...almost. At the reminder of his presence made her think back to the moment not so long ago in the dining room. Vanity could feel a small blush creep up to her pale skin, luckly the orange glow of the sun hid it...or at least she hoped.

Deoradhan Doran just sort of glared at the cat and scooched over to the other end of the huge bed. "Stupid thing is gonna get fur all over my bed," he muttered as he snagged a large pillow and curled up around it. He didn't fall asleep right away, his mind still hung up on that last encounter with Gunther. Gunther had said that he and that Tii'gra were alike... does that mean he loved him too? The thought made Doran blush. Idiot. You're straight. You're not gonna let some ***** get in your pants... a male ***** at that! He thought, furious at himself for thinking that way. Gunther was startled by a knock on the door. "Come in." His mother stepped in, gently placing several pairs of clothes on the bed. "I got some clothes for dear little Doran - most of it is Tii'gra's old things. I picked out some I thought would look good on him. Would you give them to him please?" Gunther's mother smiled, leaving Gunther's room to return to her own. "My god..." He muttered to himself, his fists clenching instinctively. "They're even the same damn size. You b*****d, you really do lay it on thick." The young lord cursed himself, before chirping a few notes. Pitra flew through his window and landed on the bedpost, chirping happily. "Would you mind taking care of these, Pitra?" Gunther nodded to the pile of clothes. Pitra gave a salute with his wing, as if to say 'Yes sir!" The bird twittered outside, and five more birds appeared, grabbing folded pieces of clothes in their talons and flying outside. Pitra would see to it that all of Doran's clothes were delivered.

Jei shrugged. "I usually do that whenever I feel like it." Jei said, dismissing the subject. He walked beside her. "You like it?" Jei asked, looking up at his house. It was a small mansion, a mixture of dark red and red-brown brick adorning the structure. However, half of the house was hidden by vines which had grown tall and across the house over the years.
The garden was no less spectacular, flowers ranging from petunias to perrennials. There were also many old trees, mostly oak and maple. Coming from behind the house were pink petals, suggesting there to be a Sakura tree out back. Many shrubs and box-cut bushes adorned the sides roughly shaped rock walkway, the slabs leading up to and around a fountain in the middle of the path, then continuing up to the large home, where limestone steps lead up to the deep oak-colored door. "I call it home, and now so do you." Jei said, as he started walking up the path. "Come, I'll show you around." he said, looking back and smiling slightly.
"Beautiful, no?" Sythe commented, as he looked out on the scenery, the expanse of forest ahead of them. A river could barely be heard gurgling away somewhere amongst the leaves of the forest. "It is much better inside the forest." Sythe said, as he started to walk towards it.
When he reached the outskirts of the forest, he turned and looked to Vanity. "Don't stray too far from me. You can get lost easily in this place." Sythe commented, before turning and continuing on, walking past large oak trees. Good thing it hasn't rained for two days, otherwise this wouldn't be possible. It would be too muddy. Sythe thought, as he tried to remember where that river was.

"Yes, beautiful." She whispered to herself, when Vanity looked up she saw Sythe ahead of her, "Eep! Um..coming!" She ran up beside him as they both seemed to be slowly entering the forest. Everything was all cluttered and so full of activity it was hard to keep up. As they went Vanity noticed it seemed to get darker and the faint sound of something could be heard nearby. Soon she could smell an unfamiliar secent wash over the atmoshpere, a river maybe?

"Ah, there it is." Sythe said, as he entered a clearing. A small river could be seen, sparkling in the sunlight. Willow trees hung their old men's beards into the water, while fish swam in and out of the rocks that littered the bottom. It was actually a quite deep river, but it didn't look as such because of it's clarity. "Well, here we are. The best spot in the forest." Sythe said, gesturing to the opening. A jet of water came from the river, spurting towards Sythe. It stopped in his hand, forming a small ball. "Here's a cool trick." Sythe said, as he hardened the water, turning it to ice that wouldn't melt. It was a crytal orb, cloudy patterns suspended throughout it. "Here." Sythe said, making the orb hover over towards Vanity.
