Day 11 - mythological irony's Dell I wasn't sure if she was supposed to have pupils or not because not a single reference had them, but some people leave them out as a stylistic choice. rofl

Updated!
We're 10% done! I'm so proud of everyone for making it this far. :hugs: Remember that you don't have to produce a masterpiece each day... a sketch or study is sufficient. Photos are allowed, too. (Photos saved my butt a few times last year.) You will occasionally post things that you are embarrassed by. It happens. Don't worry about it! EVERYONE in the challenge is occasionally posting things they are embarrassed by.
The upcoming part is the hardest bit to get through: after the initial excitement has worn off but before its really habit. Push through, you can do it. emotion_dowant And we'll have some challenge days before too long, which can help you get through those days you totally forget or just can't bring yourself to draw.

Apologies I thought I had a better chance, my room mate found out her godmother has about a week to live just as I was getting settled to draw a mushroom world...
Spent the night keeping her from getting too upset until her girlfriend got home. which was about half an hour ago. I'm out Thank you it's been lovely, really wish I'd gotten to stay longer but I have a feeling the next week is going to be a gong show with emotions and extra people over etc.

Pin up/ tutorial (artyfactory.com lifelike portraits) Not a bad job for a sincere first time attempt. :p It is very big though. I'll put up a spoiler, but I do warn users with old geezers for computers that it may be best to avoid this one. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o270/Lickem_album/Artchallenge12_zps001f9f88.pngThe guy's gotta have more then one hobbie. I've decided he can surf. EDIT: Terrible arm work. I'm sure I can improve that. Someday!

Shestval I have no idea what's going on, but I enjoyed this all the same. XD The Red Horn Cycle has this native american, a fan of humanity, racing around and adventuring with all sorts of characters, eventually marrying one of the enemy, presumable on a peace treaty deal. I googled it and everything. The oral tale remains just that. I'd need to find a Loway native to hear about it. Glad you liked it. I really don't think I did the story justice, but there are plenty of references I found awfully similar to modern day 'tales'.

Day 12 - Mish-mash Tutorial from here (from the list) For the Anger face. And also the terror on the swiss Driver's face after Coyote kindly replaced his wheel! (He probably had something to do with it going flat in the first place anyway! And legs on Coyote and hawaii dancer legs dangling from the mirror! xd ) Here
