spaceAdalaide found herself wondering what on Earth was up when none of the Gryffindor Chasers took off after her to try and steal, but she wouldn't complain. She was tired, angry, and hurting. Apparently, one injury made her play better, and two made her play like she was green on the vine. Worse, even, since her first year she'd been pretty damn good. She just hoped that the game was over soon; between her hips and her ribs, she was about ready to lay down in her bed and spend a week doing nothing but sleeping and staying up all night writing back and forth to Chris. The mood she was in, it was probably the only thing that would make her feel any better.

Cameron had hit the bludger in Corabell's direction; however, the ball had completely missed the keeper. Hazel eyes continued to watch the chasers until they spotted a bludger which flew towards the group, but it missed by quite a bit. A young, blonde girl tried to claim possession over the quaffle, but Xavier avoided her. Cameron decided he'd show her what it was like to be hit with a bludger. Swinging at an oncoming ball, the beater aimed for Elsie.

Elsie didn't get the quaffle, and to make matters worse, a bludger hit at her by a Gryffindor beater slammed into her left leg at the calf with a crunching noise. Oh, dear. She felt ill now, and she was fairly sure that noise had not been good. She glanced cautiously at her leg. It was twisted at an awkward angle, and throbbing rhythmically with jolts of pain. She didn't know anything much about things like this, but she was pretty sure he'd broken it. Jerk, she thought somewhat vindictively, as a pathetic whimper of pain escaped. Suck it up, Elsie, she could practically hear her younger sister sneering in her head. She took a few deep breaths and flew around, to distract herself from the pain. She was in no hurry to get hit by an iron ball at a high speed again.

spaceAdalaide was honestly ready for this game to be over. When Xavier stole from her, she barely even flinched. She hoped that Jess or Eun caught the ball and ended the game soon; she didn't even care which of them did it. She took off after Xavier, but didn't manage to get close enough in time to steal. She sighed as he made a goal and lined up to catch the pass from Corabell. The Hufflepuff took off down the field for another shot at scoring, but her prospects were grim. She was pretty sure one of the Gryffindors would swipe it from her just as she was seconds from the goal, the same way they had the entire game. With the majority of her ire having fizzled out, the aches in her ribs and hip started to turn to a pounding pain. The only way this could get worse would be if it started to rain... or she got hit again. She prayed the Gryffindor beaters took pity on her and, seeing how pathetically she was doing anyway, would refrain from aiming for her again.
