Coremean kneeled by Midna with a smiling face. "I'm the cat that almost fell to it's death, remember?" Sure he was laughing now, but back then, it scared the life out of him.

Since Valven's question went unheard, he started to walk away. He then quietly thought about something.

Seems dog boy was right, I am not the only hero here. Well I guess that is good to hear; as long as there is one hero, a new day will always begin. Valven thought, as he found his blade and went over to it.

He picked up his blade and spun it in a full three-sixty degree rotation then slid it into his sheath mounted, horizontal, on his back. Valven then continued to walk without so much as a good bye. He, however, was not out of earshot just yet.

((Gah! Guys,

Sorry, it's my job as an editor to nag every once in a while. As for the colour, I can read it just fine, Zoven.))

"Rayne." He answer simply, not bothering to offer his hand for a handshake. He often became enemies with others due to this life style, so a handshake was just stupid in his life. "Looks like the bit- imp is up." Rayne mumble, glad he was able to catch himself early. He didn't want to be on the other side of Viktor's blade when he didn't have his daggers. They must have been back at the clearing by Link's house.

Midna sat up slowly. She still ached a little bit. "The cat that nearly fell to its death... the gray one..." Now that she thought about, this boy did seem like one to be clumsy enough to get into that sort of situation. It all began to come back to her: Ganondorf, Zant, and the Fused Shadows. "The armor!" she said suddenly.

Zelda's face fell, only just remembering the armor. "Right," she said. "The armor. But I don't know where it is, or how we'll get it back."

Link was walking out of the ankle-deep waster when he heard the princess apologize for misplacing something. He pondered for a moment, then walked over to sit beside the now-sitting Midna. "Um, if you've lost something, I think I'm supposed to find it..." he piped up shyly, looking back at the shimmering goat spirit. The golden head nodded ever so slightly, and Link took this as affirmation. He turned back to the imp, this time with far more confidence, and a lopsided grin took over his face. "Yes, am I definitely meant to help you find...whatever you lost." he said, and turned to the princess. "Sorry, I couldn't help overhearing...."

"It's fine," Zelda replied with a smile. "I don't know a lot myself, but if there's any expert on the Twilight, it's Midna. The guy who did this- his name is Zant."

Midna nodded. "Zant wants to rule the Twilight Realm and the Light Realm. He... overthrew the Queen of Twilight, who managed to open a portal to the Light Realm to escape. Zant followed her, and I followed Zant. That's how I ended up here." Midna paused for breath. "Zant tried to take a valuable set of armor- the Fused Shadows. The Queen scattered them through the Light Realm, but I caught a piece." She patted her helmet. "Every piece has a magical link to another piece, and the only one I can feel right now is somewhere over there." She pointed.

Zelda looked in the direction, where the Twilight still lingered. "Faron Woods..." She was rather impressed with Midna's quick thinking, but her lie was going to catch up to her eventually.

After Rayne had introduced himself Andarlo noticed the small group huddled around the small creature that the wolf named link had been carrying around. "Excuse me Rayne. I think I'd like to meet this person that we went through all the trouble to save." Andarlo walked over to the group and looked over the imp. He waited patiently for a lull in the talking so he could introduce himself.

"Then I guess that is our next stop." Link said, but his mind was already drifting elsewhere. "Would it be alright if we stopped by the village before we left though? I'm still worried about them..." he asked, thinking of how some of the more superstitious villagers would have several heart attacks in a row at the first glimpse of Twilight.

Midna blinked. "If you want to... I can't go into the sun, though. Too much Light." Come to think of it, what was she going to do now?

Zelda's eyes widened. "Oh, no... what will the villagers say when they see the ruler of Hyrule walking through their village?"

Zant smoothly walked up to the tower, ready to have a chat with the princess. "Your Majesty, I should like to speak with you," he said suavely, knocking at her door. When nobody answered, he frowned and pushed it open. He was greeted by an empty room. Furious, Zant turned to his guards. "Find her!" he howled.

Link mulled things over in his mind for a minute, then stood up. "Tell you what," he addressed the princess and the imp, "I'll go check on the village, and we can regroup at my house. It's not far, and I'll need to stop there anyway. Sound like a plan?" he asked, then thought of something. "Actually, if you want, Midna, you could tag along in my shadow for a while. That way I can even show you around the village, if you'd like and are feeling up to it." he offered.

Viktor nodded with his grin and stood up. Hearing everything he nodded but his eye twitched a bit at hearing dog-boy. "My name's Viktor." he said smoothly, not really liking to be called dog-boy by now. Looking at Link he nodded "Sounds like a plan to me." Standing up he said. "I need to get back to my house. We meet at the entrance of the woods because there are a few things I'll need to get before I go on." Looking at Midna and Zelda he added "If that's okay with you two." He had a feeling that Midna was a bit impatient so if she agreed he knew he had to make it a quick run.

Valven found himself walking into a clearing. As he looked around, he saw a tree house on his left and a path going down to his right. Down the path he could hear the saw of a watermill and people talking.

That must be the village I heard of. It sounds like it is okay but I might as well go check on it. Valven thought about this then headed down to the village.

As he reached the village, he felt the sense of peace and happiness, but there was a odd feeling of gloom in the air. He took another look around the town and saw it's people were sad over something then noticed a man who looked injured on account of the bandages and sling he wore. Valven did not know what happened but decided to wait for the other hero before he decided anything.

Midna narrowed her eyes. "I'm not a helpless little kid," she grumbled, standing up. It didn't make much of a difference. "Don't treat me like one." She wandered into the darkness of Link's shadow. It was easy to hide in, plus she could help along the way.

Zelda put her hood up. "May I join you?" she asked Link. "I don't get out of the castle very often, and when I do, it's only to visit Castle Town. I never get to see the villages."

As Midna leaped into Link's shadow Andarlo said, "Wait a moment, I would like to introduce myself." As was the custom in his country he gave a bow not just to Midna, but to the entire group. "I don't believe we able to introduce ourselves properly. My name is Andarlo, former captain of my king's guard, and now a mercenary for hire." He looked up and grinned at the others. "I haven't been here before so do you mind if I join you?"

Link bowed slightly at the waist in return to Andarlo. "A pleasure, I'm Link." he said, straightening up with a grin. Turning to the princess, he waved a hand towards the gate, offering her the lead. "After you, your Highness. Through the gate and turn left."
