Stella smiled and snuggled up against Gage with a soft sigh. "Good. Cause I love snuggling with you." She ran her fingers through his hair and brushing them across his cheek bone. I can easily picture myself with him for the rest of my life..

"For awhile... Just for a little bit...." Gage chuckled against Stella's hair and sighed comfortably. "Alright, let's not get comfortable... We're going to dinner tonight, so you've got to get ready... Mostly cause we're gonna celebrate my promotion when we haven't.... We're going to Le Bernardin... So you can wear something beautiful..." he rolled away and half vanished off the side of the bed, coming back up with a box. He popped it open in his lap, revealing a dress. With a smile, he looked over at her. "Kinda like this?" "I didn't think I'd live through it... But there she was... Saving me again...."

Stella laughed as Gage rolled away off the bed, her gears turning as to what she would wear to the restaurant. She was contemplating the dress he had gotten for her birthday a little over a year ago when she saw him pop back up with a box in his hands. Biting her lip softly she was anxious as he opened the box to the reveal the dress. She gasped and took it in her hands, running her fingertips over the silky blue fabric. Raising her eyes to Gage she squealed and through his arms around him. "Yes! A lot like this! I love it it is so beautiful. I am definitely wearing this if I have shoes and such to match." Jumping out of the bed easily she walked to the closet and opened her side, browsing through her vast collection of shoes.

Gage leaned back on the bed, propped up against the pillows, he'd left another box sitting in her part of the closet, inside were the matching shoes, bag and jewelry: earrings, necklace, bracelet... He relaxed, waiting for the response squeal that was sure to ensue from her finding the big box sitting in her closet.... "I didn't think I'd live through it... But there she was... Saving me again...."

Stella stopped when her hands came across a blueish box with a matching blue ribbon. She grabbed the large box and walked back to their bed, sitting indian style with the box in her lap. Gently pulling off the ribbon and opening the box. Stella did her usual squeal when she saw the shoes, bag, and jewelry. Setting the box aside she wrapped her arms around Gage and hugged him tightly, kissing him some what roughly. "You don't always have to spoil me!" She giggled and frowned when her phone rang, she ignored it and jumped up to try everything on.

"For awhile... Just for a little bit...." Gage gave a soft laugh and stood up off the bed after she hugged and kissed him. Once she was ensconced in trying everything on, he slipped into the bathroom and showered.... Coming back out in a suit, he straightened his jacket and looked over at Stella, a soft smile appearing on his lips "I didn't think I'd live through it... But there she was... Saving me again...."

Stella looked in the mirror at the outfit and smiled widely. Loving the whole ensemble. Running a brush through her hair she was happy with the way it looked with the outfit without having to curl it or anything. Her eyes turned to Gage as he walked back into the room. She was stunned at how amazed he looked. "Very sexy babe... Kinda turns me on." She chuckled and winked at him.

Stella looked around the restaurant with wide eyes. She was amazed at how beautiful and wonderful it was. Sitting down lightly in her chair she smiled right back at Gage, her eyes twinkling in the lighting. "Not good.. Amazing. I love it." She giggled a bit, interlocking her fingers and resting them lightly on the table.

He set it in the empty place where her dinner plate had been and smiled "One more present for the night." "I didn't think I'd live through it... But there she was... Saving me again...."

Stella smiled at Gage as the waitress walked away after taking their orders for desert. She watched as Gage pulled out a small little black box and set it in front of her. Her eyes widened and she looked between Gage and the box with wide eyes. Reaching for the box her hands were a little shaky, she was hesitant before opening it very slowly. "What is it.." She was almost afraid to look into the box.

"For awhile... Just for a little bit...." Gage chuckled at her reaction, and waited for her to actually look. Within that box, sat a teal colored egg made out of fine ceramic... And even further hidden, inside it, was a ring.... He hadn't mentioned even the possibility or thought of marrying her in over a year... But now they'd been together for over that year, and were far more involved than they had been... He had another surprise if she said yes, but that'd be for awhile later... Currently his blue eyes were locked onto hers, watching her for her reaction.... "I didn't think I'd live through it... But there she was... Saving me again...."

Stella slowly lowered her eyes to what was inside this box that had become a huge and mysterious surprise. Gently reaching her fingers down inside it to pull out the egg, stunned at how beautiful it was. It took her a few seconds to notice that there was a opening it it and she looked up at Gage nervously. She looked at him for a while before opening the egg slowly to reveal the ring. Her heart skipped a beat and she almost dropped the egg before quickly setting it back down on the table. Carefully removing the ring from the egg and staring at it for a moment. She wasn't sure how to react. For the first time her reaction was silent, her gaze was brought up from the ring to look at Gage with wide eyes. She was completely and entirely speechless. "I wanna say yes.. But I don't know if your even asking.." She giggled out of embarrassment and her cheeks turned a bright red. Sure he hadn't verbally asked her but it was pretty damn well implied. But then again she wanted to be sure before she overreacted with a yes and then realized that it had nothing to do with becoming engaged or anything of the sort.

"For awhile... Just for a little bit...." Gage slid from his seat and took the ring from her fingers, turning her to face him as he looked up at her... His voice was soft as he spoke, those very blue eyes meeting hers as he knelt before her, her hand in his, the ring so close.. "Stunna, you have the right to say yes.... Because I'm really asking this time.... Marry me, live your life with me..." "I didn't think I'd live through it... But there she was... Saving me again...."
