(It got a bit long...I felt like writing)
"I know you better than that, Hanna," Ferin said. She stopped and turned to him, something furious about the way she held herself. "Do you? It's been ten years Ferin. Do you think I haven't changed?" He was taken aback, and it showed. "I guess...I hadn't thought about it," he replied. "I spent every moment hating you. I've seen and done things I never thought I could after I left the Wetlands. The Hanna you knew would not have killed anyone. I would. In a heartbeat if I had to." Ferin was silent for a long time. "Things change all the time, Hanna," he said at last. "I am used to everything changing around me." "When you knew me, I was hardly more than a child. I am not a child now." "I know." Hanna began walking again, running a hand through her hair as her thoughts chased themselves. It was hard not to think about what Iris had said, and she finally just gave up. It felt hopeless...but she would go on. For as long as she could. "What is going on, Hanna?" Ferin asked gently. "Too much," she replied, and would say no more. She followed her feet into the swamp, walking along invisible paths. Ferin kept right behind her as the light began slowly to fade. Even in the growing darkness, Hanna could sense the path. She found herself suddenly at the base of Kallman's tree and stopped, staring up at the treehouse. She began to climb. "What is this?" Ferin asked, staring around as they reached the top. "Kallman's place." She frowned as she looked around, lighting a lamp with a long matchstick. "He should be here." "Where else would he be?" "I don't know." "What about his brother?" "I just left him not more than a couple of hours ago. He left a long while ago. He was upset." "By what?" "It doesn't matter. The point is, if he's not here, then where--" She doubled over, holding her chest and gasping for breath. "Hanna!" She hardly knew when she hit the ground, so intense was the pain, like a fist twisting inside her ribcage. Red covered her eyes and she could here someone speaking as though from far away "time to forget". As suddenly as it came it was gone and she opened her eyes wide. Ferin was passing his hands around the air above her, muttering some sort of spell. He left off when he saw her. "What happened!" he snapped. He was pale and his hands were trembling. Hanna tried to catch her breath. "I think I know where Kallman is," she whispered. ~~~

"Keri assemble the hunters. It's time we had our revenge against those wolves." smiled Jeanette kissing Kallman's cheek. Kallman held her close and kissed her back.
"Is he in some sort of spell?" asked Keri curious.
"It's not a spell my dear. It was his choice. He wanted to forget his love for the girl and now all that love is focused on me instead of her. We will kill them." smiled Jeanette playfully spanking Kallman's butt.
"Right my dear?" asked Jeanette.
"Of course Jeanette we will kill them." smiled Kallman.
::Keri was grossed out. She thought she was bad. No one even knew that at the time she was pregnant with Kedro's child.
"There is one more thing I wish to do." smirked Jeanette.
"What?" asked Keri.
"You still need a mate is there anyone your interested in?" asked Jeanette. "Sisters help sisters after all."
"No, I only loved one person and he is dead." replied Keri. Even she couldn't force herself to stoop to Jeanette's level. It was up to Kai it he wanted to try it or not. Completely his decision not hers.
"Ah, shucks." groaned Jeanette. "I could've had some fun with his younger brother too."

Hanna watched this display, feeling sick. She leaned against the rafters of the hideout, out of sight from the ground. "We need to get out of here," Ferin whispered, but Hanna shook her head. She couldn't leave, not yet. "We have to know what they're up to." He stared at her, frowning. "You don't look so good." "I know." She leaned forward again, dreading what would happen next, but knowing that she had to watch. Daceria and the others had saved her life. She wouldn't let that debt go unpaid.

"Keri assemble the hunters. Tonight at the full moon we make our attack at Daceria's tree. We will use Kallman here to Help us." smirked Jeanette.
"Sister." began Keri as she left and fetched the hunters. Keri once done went to her room and picked up the picture of her and Kedro the day she had met him. He was holding her with one of his arms and she was smiling at the picture. Kedro had he loved her or had it been his game plan all along to use her to have Daceria. It wasn't fair. Kedro was dead and Daceria and the clan would continue. Keri didn't like the way Jeanette was going about it but if it would get rid of Daceria then so be it.::

They left to find Daceria's tree, praying they would make it with their message in time. Hanna was beginning to feel sick and stumbled often, but still they moved quickly, neither knowing yet that tonight was a cursed night for the silver wolf they ran to save, for tonight was the full moon; Daceria was human.

: biggrin aceria and Forest were at Daceria' tree.::
"Sister, I'm worried." began Forest sensing Danger
"Do you think it's them?" asked Daceria.
"Yes, it's Jeanette and Keri. I can smell them." answered Forest.
"We'll be ready." smiled Daceria.
"But sister tonight is the full moon." began Forest.
"It's doesn't matter what night it is, we will defeat them. Even if I'm human I skill have my magic. We fight. No more running."
"Sister."

"Daceria," Hanna called, her voice seeming to float toward them. She walked from the trees, leaning heavily on Ferin's arm. Her face looked waxen and pale, and her eyes were shockingly blue. "You have to get out of here," she said. "We won't leave," Daceria replied. "We will not run from them anymore." "You don't understand!" Hanna gasped. "They have..." she paused, as if she were having trouble breathing all of a sudden. "Kallman," she said at last. "They have Kallman. He's with them, and they're coming now."

"If I run they will find me, if I hide they will find me. There is no escaping. Even as I am now. We must fight. We must win."
"Sister." began Forest.
::Hanna was getting tired of this. She grabbed Daceria by the arm and dragged her outside.::
"We shall go where they shall not find us." answered Hanna.
"Where's that?" asked Forest.
"The wetlands."

"Go quickly and pack whatever you need for a journey. No food. Hurry." "You don't look so good," Forest said, studying Hanna. "Are you sure you can go far?" "I have to," Hanna replied, closing her eyes. "We have perhaps an hour before the hunters arrive. I suggest you do whatever you can for yourself before then. Make sure you that the two of you have disguises." Forest followed Daceria into the house, looking back over her shoulder before she went in. "She's right. You don't look good," Ferin said, taking off his long coat and putting it around her shoulders. He looked strange without it. "We can't stay here. I'll be as dead as them if I do." "What about Charlie?" "I--I..." she faltered. She covered her face with one hand. "I'll send Kai a message. I think he would help." "I hope you're right," Ferin replied, taking her hand. "So do I." ~~~

:: Daceria didn't like the idea but she knew her sister was right. Even if she was still half demon they didn't stand a chance against Jeanette and Kallman. They needed time.::
"Sister let's go." spoke Forest. Forest thought of Kallman. He was a strongbuild warrior how had Jeanette gotten control over him?
"All right." answered Daceria as they left disguised as villagers with Adam's clothes. No one knew where Adam had gone but he had said that he had business to do before marrying Daceria.
::Hanna let the way despite the pain she was in. There was no time for slowness. Jeanette would be here soon. She could sense the power closing in on them. Hanna knew if she had to she could defeat Jeanette but would her life be long enough to do just that?

(That last line sounded pretty cool in my head when I read it)
Hanna hardly dared to let them stop, but she had to say goodbye to her brother...for the last time. "We'll wait here," Ferin said. "We can't go in there at night." "Don't wait," Hanna replied. "Keep going. You can't afford to stop. I'll catch up to you." Ferin nodded and and took them on. Daceria looked back with worry. They were leaving Hanna alone? The huntress was quickly fading. Hanna felt the blue girl filling her body, and knew she had little time. "Charlie?" she whispered. A dark shaped moved toward her, revealing himself as her brother. "Hanna," Charlie muttered, dropping his head. "I am leaving, brother," she sighed, hugging his long stem. "I fear I shall never return." "Hanna," Charlie whined, pumping her hands. His eyes were sad. He did not want her to go. "I must. The hunters have Kallman on their side. I have to take the wolves far away, where no hunters will ever find them." Though a plant, Charlie began to cry. Hanna caught his tears in the palm of her hand, and put it on her cheek, closing her eyes. "I am sorry brother. I have to." ~~~ Hanna raced to catch up. She could sense Jeanette's confusion in the distance--they had reached Daceria's tree. She caught up with the others quickly, for they seemed to move so slow! "Faster," Hanna snapped, joining them. "They know you're gone, and they're coming after us." "We were waiting for you," Ferin said. "I told you not to!" she retorted. "If I can catch up, then so can they! If we're lucky, they'll look for us toward the mountains first." "What about Aurora?" Forest asked with concern. "Doesn't she live there?" Hanna cursed, snatching a blowing leaf out of the air. A storm was coming. She held it close to her mouth, muttering to it, and the leaf became a papery moth, flying away at great speed. If it should be caught by one other than those it was intended for, it would destroy itself, for it carried a message:
Kallman has joined the hunters. The half-wolves leave the land in search of safety. Be prepared for battle, for they may search for us with you.
Hanna's blue sign, a curled dragon, marked the bottom. Aurora would know the message was from her. "Now move. When they figure out where we are, there will be blood in the water."

::Aurora stepped out and noticed the storm and the hidden message within. She quickly gathered everyone and headed for the hall of graves. The door was unopenable to anyone outside the clan. If Jeanette would look for them she wouldn't know that. But Aurora feared Kallman and even he didn't know about the sercet tunnel beneath Kai's twin brother's grave. She opened it and let everyone go before her. Then she entered and closed the grave behind her. They were in a cave filled with darkness. Aurora led them to a temple that she had built and they all went inside.
"Aurora what about Kallman?" asked Kai.
"We cannot afford to go after him now. We must pray for Hanna and the others. They need all the help they can get. They are out there in this storm and Hanna is dying day by day." answered Aurora.
"But sister how?" asked Kai.
"I saw it in her eyes. She told me with her eyes that she is dying. I only hope her death doesn't kill Kallman as well. You see he loved her. I could see that in his eyes as well." smiled Aurora.

The storm broke with fury over their heads, but there was no place to stop. Halfway through the night, hours after setting out, Forest discovered a cave, barely visible through the pouring rain. They ran toward it, slipping into the dry chill. They were drenched to the bone, but somehow Ferin made a fire. They huddled around it, tired and cold and aching. "How far must we go?" Daceria finally asked. Hanna rubbed her arms, staring at the flames. "To the sea." "But that's days away," Forest protested in dismay. Hanna looked up, her eyes grim. "From there we must find a boat. Jeanette will have a hard time tracking us through the ocean." "You really mean to take us so far?" Ferin asked, surprised. "If it will keep them alive...then yes."

:: Everyone was calm and settled within the cave. They would have to wait for daylight to continue moving but even then it was risky. Daceria only wished that Adam was there beside her. She wondered we he had gotten to and when he would return.
::Aurora and the other wolves were all safe within the temple. Hunters had come and had inspected the cave througly but not even Jeanette had figured out Aurora's sercet. Not even Kallman had known. When Aurora was sure they were gone she looked to Kai.::
"How long does she have?" asked Aurora.
"No more than a week at best." answered Kai sadly.
"We must give them strength brother. Let us pray for their safety. If we can't save Hanna, we can at least save the others." smiled Aurora as the held hands and whispered prayers for safe travel and for all of them to live. Nothing was impossible with God, maybe even they could save Hanna...Maybe.

Hanna felt the strength of their prayers, but she knew they would not save her. God had told her that her death was coming and that she could not stop it, but that all would be well, and she trusted him. For the first time in hours, Hanna felt Jeanette and her forces begin to move toward them again. The others had all fallen asleep around the fire and Hanna went about, waking them calmly. "We need to move," she said. It was almost dawn;the sky was gray and glowed red in the distant east, but a steady drizzle continued. They had to march on; they had no time to wait for the rain to stop. Hanna's fingers tingled at the closeness of so much water. It cleaved to her skin when she stood too close to the cave's narrow mouth, and pooled at her feet. "We're ready," Daceria said. Hanna looked back at them gravely, sensing the blue pulse in her veins. "Alright. We'll rest for an hour or two when we reach the next town and get something to eat." She stepped out into the rain and it seemed to curve toward her. In the dark, she did not think anyone would see. But Ferin did.
