*Kero nods...doing just that...it's the same as before...he can do it...but it's more difficult...as if his magical senses were touching something fluid...and grainy...almost dusty....like watery sand...ground down to powder...he manages to call fire...but it is hard*

Mica sits there for a bit then puts the fire out, re-igniting it with a spell of his own. "OK... abosorb this..." he says even though he has never taught Kerobian how to do such a thing.

I'm just testing a theory... so keep to the surface details... think of the heat how it feels on the skin... look at the flames... think of how they might taste... might feel... if you were a salamander.... examine the fire as a series of components and reach for it with your entire being... not physically... don't much care for the smell of burning fur..."

*Kero tries...and though barely....he manages it....he is able to absorb the fire....and he feels it inside him...gently hot...but not, oddly enough...burning...*
Note: Absorption is his only power right now...nothing more...he can teleport...but as Tam said...leave for later...

Just...different....weird, even...but it wasn't hard...is this a part of Firemagic...that eventually you run out, and have to replace it...I think I could work with fire again now...

Mica chuckles softly and shakes his head. "Wait... I want you to try absorbing this now... " and he creates an amalgam of magic, fusing earth and water into a crystalline orb... This is a healing vessel... try this" And he places in the brazier.

Mica grimaces. "I'm not sure, but I have a suspicion. Now I want you to try and replicate what I did if you can... don't worry if you cannot. You might not be able to do this as yet. Oh... and while you are at it... see if you can identify how the spell was composed... can you feel how the crystalline form was constructed... how the water element was interlaced within the lattice of the crystal."

I...I don't think I can do it....why am I able to do this, Dawnlord? Is this part of Fire...taking something in to make me me powerful?
