I think it looks pretty good, especially considering how tricky the perspective is!

If you want to find references for that sort of thing, I'd go to dA's stock section, > Stock Images, > Model, > Groups, and then search a term that you think describes the pose until you can find something that you like. I'd try "holding" "dying" "cradling" etc.

Yea, but I'm not a fan of the DA stocks. What I really wish I had, was a 3D poser. Something anatomically correct that I can study, so that I won't need stocks in the future. ^^

Fairy

I hope it is possible to tell that this is a fairy, even though she doesn't have wings. I wanted to try making a fairy without having to add any wings. :3 You know, so that I actually have to think about her clothes and such. :3 And I know the right arm is too short... :I Maybe I'll fix it sometime. :I

Also, when I read the word "candelabra" I thought it was either some sort of animal, or a bra that can hold candles. xD Then I googled it. This contest has actually taught me a few words that way. emotion_awesome

Opinions/Suggestions?
FunFact: I listened to the most inappropriate music for this drawing. Hollywood Undead, anyone?
I wanted to focus on wings and pose. I always imagined fairies having this strut to them and that they be some sassy people. beware there be BUTT. Feet are a bit messed up.

Day 78 - Fairy

This has kinda a cute story behind it.

So I really wanted to finish this RL commission I've had sitting around for over a week for today. I haven't turned it in for any of the themes yet and I really needed to redraw the legs/feet, and I could turn it in for "Standing Still" (as he's wearing ski boots and those are hard to stand in rofl ).

But I looked for LITERALLY HOURS for a reference picture that would work and found nothing. I ended up asking a friend for help and she can get me a reference picture, but not today.

So at 10pm I was staring at the list trying to figure out what I would draw... and I got noted for another RL commission. For a dryad. rofl

CLOSE ENOUGH TO FAIRY FOR ME

And that's my story. (And my teacher was there, and I found five dollars.)
