"Yer tongue.." says Sharmistra with a grin. "Youe free. Go see Mica. Ye really should soak that incision a bit, but we can do that when ye come back here later for you math lessons."

Sharmistra waits until he is gone then laughs merrily. Cleaning her hands she turns to Tam. "Okay, spill it... what is up with you... you were perfectly fine last night."

Tam shrugs. "I'm perfectly fine right now..."says Tam defensively. Then she yawns and stands up. "no... I'm not fine... I'm not quite ready for this... but I suspect that this time I really locked it in place. It's not a spell. It was more of a looking deep within and pulling something forward."

Shar sits down and runs a hand through her hair. "I was wondering about that when it happened the last time. And it's a bit more pronounced than before."

"A bit?" laughs Tam sourly. She sighs and shrugs. "Why not just come out and say... Tam, yer fey... accept it."

"Because yer not..." says Shar quietly. She sighs and spreads her hands out in an expression of confusion. "It happens, ye know..."

Mica's secretary lets him in and tells him to go to a side room, which has been appointed with thick floor cushions and a low table. There are several books on the table.

"Master Mica had an unexpected emergency this morning. Nothing serious, but it was something he needed to attend to. He asks that you wait for him and suggests you begin to read the forward of the Kerobian vules Noctoslain thesis on Fire magic vs energy magic as a whole.

After some time, Kerobian begins to realize he is being watched and looking up he sees Mica sitting across from him, though how he got there without him seeing him go by he doesn't know. The elderly priest nods to him and asks him to put what he's just read into his own words.

"Mage Kerobian was a master of many magics..." he says quietly, which is why he can speak so freely on all but a few, but Fire magic was his first power and it remained with him, an intrinsic force in his make up. Can you tell me how it shaped his view of the other magics he studied?"

Mica smiles. "Not was, Kero... but is... Kerobian vules-Noctuslain still lives. He is a great mage, who lives on another plane, separate from this one."

Mica shrugs. "This book was written many many ages ago. and he was quite old then. As for his element, he still daubles in fire magice from time to time, but mainly his element is that which is not..."

Mica smiles kindly at the cub. "Who said he did not exist? Did I not say he lives?"
