Question: If you're an Asian person that lives in the West lets say *Indonesian and people in your country thinks you're **Chinese. How would you react?
And how would you react if you go to "your origin country" and there they say that you're something else besides *Indonesian (***Japanese by example)?

Hard to say, considering I'm American and white as Hell...
The way I am though, I don't think it would bother me much. At least, as long as they weren't making racist remarks. Then I'd be like "I'm ___, numnuts"...
As for the other thing, I'd say something like "Yeah, we're definately both ____."
