It's times like these that I regret that I travel so poorly. I'd love to go abroad, and even more so abroad for lolita [what a silly purpose].
Also, you said you're thinking about heading to MFashion in the Netherlands? You'll have to tell me how it is. I've heard some ... interesting things about that shop and its owner.
PSHAW going abroad for lolita is not silly. One day (maybe when I graduate) I'm going to Japan primarily to shop and hit tourist stuff only as kind of a time filler.
And I'm in Europe for 6 months so I might as well hit up all the lolita stuff since I'm here anyway.
heart I worked all semester and saved money so I'd have enough to buy things here. I knew I'd be going to Paris and MFashion at least, not to mention all the wonderful boutiques in Camden and Oxford St. in London. (speaking of which I never made it to Camden, so that's still on my list of to-shop places)
Yep I'll visit MFashion, but I'm not exactly sure when. Probably a day trip next weekend. From the videos I've seen of the inside, I'd be surprised if I was not impressed by the stock- but based on their website I know it'll all be completely jacked up prices. I'll probably just buy something small as a souvenir.
The Dutch lolita drama can be... interesting at times. Usually involving money or trading items... Trade and merchant cultures can be kinda ******** up, especially when businesses here REFUSE to realize that the euro =/= dollar. I expect to find dresses not converted in currency, but just with the yen sign crossed out.
