Kameyo fought the urge to slap the fuuin user for referring to her new pupil as Mr. Trash. Her eyes narrowed, filing away the memory for later if it ever became useful. While she was trying to turn a new leaf in helping the village, her hearts knew all too well how to hold a grudge.
Bloodshed begets bloodshed? "So you admit you're a victim. Can't move on? Stuck in the past?" She teased her with every impression she was unimpressed with Kagami's motives. "What I'm hearing is, selfish goal means murder, which in turn creates another selfish goal that means murder... and you're adding to it. You're unwilling to defy the very oppressing system you've been crushed under, making you a cog in a machine, not some bringer of change. You just want to be the person holding the reigns and deciding who to kill." She scoffed, unable to believe someone could bring war to a village's gates over such a transparently self-feeding ideology.
She turned to Toso as he spoke, concerned at the matter-of-fact tone he used in discussing the fall of his village or his own death. She hadn't known him to be an explicitly emotional man, though there was a strange aura of passion exuding from his gaze as he spoke. Kameyo misconstrued his words for appeasement, and gestured to Kagami with her kunai in anger. "We can't continue to humor this terrorist. She clearly just wants to watch the world burn."

__ Kagami was fully engaged in debate and focused completely on Toso and Kameyo. If necessary then she would engage with the others in the room but there was a clear division in their conversations. "S-Saiken...are you a-alright?" A nervous and shy voice escaped from an underwater cave prison at the bottom of the sea in the alternate realm. Isobu had been in a constant state of fright and confusion since the beginning of Kogarashi's efforts to crush the villages. While he empathized with Kagami and trusted her with his power he simply wished for all the pain to stop and that she would come to a realization sooner than later. "This man is...unlike Chie." Admittedly, she was off balance by Toso's candor about the corrupt system and his agreement with her. Toso then questioned her with the very likely possibility that the villages would try to rebuild and the wheel would continue spinning. This was already happening with the Uzushiogakure refugees in the Land of Fire. Kameyo then proceeded to criticize her even after the kage already educated her on the past and how it forms the present. When Kameyo called her a terrorist she audibly laughed in her face. "If we're going to go that way then you're going to need a bigger knife." Kagami put her hand in front of her lips and regained composure. When she looked back to Toso he pointed at the PA system. Silence fell upon her for two minutes as she considered what she might say. "If you use violence to fight this evil system then you're a terrorist. But if you engage in "legal" war and kill thousands in pursuit of power then you're a daimyo or a kage. Do you realize how silly that is?" Her eyes pierced into Kameyo but it was clear from her mocking tone that she did not take Kameyo very seriously. "I'm sure you agree that there can be good leaders of inherently corrupt systems. But how does your agreement with me change anything? My plan is to evacuate and destroy this village as I did to the Whirlpool. Once that's done my agents will stifle any attempts to rebuild the shinobi village structure. Kogarashi won't take a governing role and will simply exist to prevent the villages from rising again." She grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and began writing. She wrote vigorously and with inspiration as many thoughts guided her pen. It was clear that she was preparing her speech for the PA system. The revolutionary leader was preparing to use her voice for liberation. "To prevent Kogarashi from dominating in the future I'll develop a permanent fuuinjutsu that'll seal away all the chakra in this world. As long as some have the power to wield chakra and others don't then there'll always be a power gap to be exploited. This will prevent the shinobi from taking over and a completely free world can finally be realized. The wars of villages and of shinobi will be a distant memory and the long nightmare will be over. Can either of you tell me that my dream for this world is wrong?" To her, this made complete sense. It was Kogarashi's vision under her leadership and she would stop at nothing to obtain it. Kagami continued to write her speech with small breaks to edit as she waited for the village leader and his companion to respond.

This water will fall from the sky, rise from the ground, whatever so long as it is coming towards the host. It pools and rests around its feet and stays within an area of 10 feet. • Host can breathe underwater.
Chakra Cloak Version 1: Advanced Effects 2/10 Advanced Effects: • The Sanbi can take one of the user's activations to cast any illusion or enchantment genjutsu that the host knows using demon chakra. Doing so adds on another primary sense at the host's discretion, and increases the targets that it can affect by one where applicable. The cost is increased by half of the original technique cost on the demon's reserve. • Mild fortitude boost. • Suiton jutsu used by the host overwhelm ninjutsu of the same rank. They also lose their elemental weaknesses.

”Bloodshed begets bloodshed...” Shinji mused absentmindedly. It was such a simple concept. Everything worked on a cycle of some sort. Grass is consumed by cows, which die and provide nutrients for more grass; ecosystems run almost entirely on a cycle of kill or be killed, which feeds into the greater cycle that circulates nitrogen through the world. Oxygen and carbon dioxide work in a similar cycle, albeit one with much less morbid facets. Even the human psyche often feeds into its own cycle of emotions and reactions, rehashing the same feelings and thoughts that they have previously had and only slightly altering them to make them feel shiny and new. It was a fitting phrase for the current moment.
Shinji’s hands stopped shaking, his fear parting way for a flow of logic and, in some way, bravery, to push through. ”If you are wanting to end the cycle of violence brought on by the village system, then why commit violence to try and change it? Wouldn’t it stand to reason that at most you’d only give others more reason to come after you, further inciting the violence you wish to stop?” His words weren’t said in anger. Rather, it seemed more of a curious query. Shinji cocked his head sideways slightly, his brain abuzz with processing the motive these villains, who had been identified as Kogarashi, had for the attack on Arashigakure.
Although his thoughts were preoccupied, he continued on as Kagami was writing. "She's right. Well... Mostly anyway. Any opposition to the systems that have been in place for hundreds of years is seen as terrorism. It isn't meant to be fair. That system and label was probably made by the most powerful at the time in order to prevent their influence from being usurped and to keep the benefits they reaped from said system. The sad part is, no one who was part of that system bothered to try and change it. They reveled in their unrivaled authority and used it to further their own ends. Be they corrupt or not," his eyes seemed to slowly come back into focus. Each passing word stripping away his fear even more. Somewhere, deep down, the discussion had calcified Shinji's innermost desires into something he could draw strength from. The want to beacon of hope for the village, and the need for him to overcome obstacles to make that happen. In this moment, the fear that paralyzed him was the biggest obstacle.
He shook his head at Kagami's plan. "It's wrong. Not completely, but enough." His newfound bravery didn't last long. Upon realizing how bluntly he had just spoken to the leader of their enemy, a woman who far outclassed him in every way. If she wanted to, she could kill him with the same effort a human kills an ant. He looked away from her, his tone softening to fill with more respect than the grit it previously held. "Sorry, but it wouldn't work. Even if you sealed away all of the chakra, then you would be going against your own rule, right? You don't want Kogarashi to take a governing role, but if you remove all the power to stand against you, eventually you would become the governing role anyway. If you leave the chakra alone, then eventually someone will become strong enough to take you out. Revenge is a powerful motivator, after all. And if they do take you out, then one of your underlings would take your place, and the cycle would continue.
"The only way to change something you don't agree with is to find a way to meet your goal without feeding the cycle further. The spirit of your dream is the same that we all want, but the way you want to go about it is wrong." Shinji avoided Kagami's gaze, not wanting to feel the rage he was sure was going to be directed his way. It took everything he had to even go on such a long spiel after he realized what he was doing. Only a genin, he had learned early on that this world had a negative impact on the citizens who resided in it. Constantly fighting for their lives. Constantly losing the ones they care about. It was something he respected his clan for. Inadvertently, they had overcome the drawbacks of the morbidity of the shinobi world by retracting their socializing and keeping it within the clan. If they didn't form any bonds, then they wouldn't be hurt by the deaths of their comrades. It wasn't the intention, but it worked in that way nonetheless.

"Your system of belief stems from thinking that all shinobi villages desire power and war two things of which I can firmly say I do not support. bloop. What of the non-shinobi villages your men now attack simply for just existing on these lands. What sin do they bare?" When Kagami moved to prepare her speech he'd shake his head but still remain focused on her movements. "Forgive me, your dream I cannot call wrong. Admirable. However, I can call it shortsighted." Toso would say firmly like a man having seen this happen before. Over and over again. He didn't need to experience it. History repeats itself. Dusty tomes, history books, the common line between them all is one side believed it right over the other rather than seeking mediation and when mediation was attempted wars would only insue solely because 'one did not wish to mediate' He'd go on but the boy who had remained silent for so long would speak up. To which he would silently praise for a brief moment before looking back to Kagami.
"You can remove chakra from the equation. You can destroy the villages over and over again in an endless cycle of violence. Nothing will change. Do you recall the words of Seigi Otoko? Humanities greatest enemy is humanity itself." He'd rest his hand on his side. "There will always be people who pursue power. There will always be people born with natural talent superior to another. You seal the chakra and the practitioners of martial arts will begin to see themselves superior, those unable to compete with them will find other ways to compensate for their weakness driven by vengeance bloop. In fact, that has already happened as you recall. The UHV did just that." The UHV. The group of oppressed villagers who turned to technology so that they could make names for themselves. Even though their actions were cruel and their methods at times barbaric they were driven by the pursuit of power but at the same time..that pursuit Toso couldn't help but sympathize in believing it was more than that, that perhaps it was a desire to acknowledged.
Toso would sit down in the inky puddle where his clone once sat. He'd defer to Kameyo once more. "Lady Kameyo. I do not humor. I converse and to converse leads to understanding. You are entitled to disagree. You may understand the woman sees nothing more that to raze these lands..." Toso's eyes still on Kagami as she moved her pen. "I see someone desperate to save it through any means necessary." A shift in tone. The room once was calm but now the air was taking a serious shift. "As the boy says bloop. We all want the same thing. No one has bothered to change the system of corruption. Until today. You aim to do so by begetting a cycle of bloodshed you believe necessary, and I aim to do so through the position I've been given, you can never bring the cruelties of war to an end with more cruelties. I will not silence your voice. All I ask is that you allow me the chance to fix what has been broken for so long before you continue to condemn it with blood and fire as you are currently doing...Perhaps it is far too late and while I cannot speak on behalf of all villages, for what it is worth one behalf of this one. I am sorry for what the villages have done to you."
Another conversation would take place. "I am fine brother. However, you sound the opposite. Are you well? It seems our hosts are having a conversation. Something I much prefer over the clashing of steel. An Inquiry Isobu. How do you feel of your host? I've found mine to be quite pleasant for what he is. If not just a bit too soft. Hehe. But perhaps that is why we get along. Seeing as I'm also quite soft in more ways than one."

Hajime felt the sting of his 'Kage's chastisement, he bit his tongue to keep from rebutting. Toso'kage, per usual, was always right. He gulped hard, swallowing a very hard to swallow pill, his eyes meeting her gaze, locking. Maybe he was ballsy, or maybe he was just hardheaded, but he was flying close to the sun locking glares with a Sharingan user. There was something familiar about her, but he kept their gaze locked, a fire burning behind his eyes. He wanted to fight so bad but he would do just as his 'Kage comman-Naoki opened her stupid, dumb, mouth. A vein bulged from his forehead, visibly pumping as he seethed with anger. Haji' blew out breath from his nose and sort of lost it mentally. On the surface he said nothing, another breath and he seemed to calm down before producing a very bright smile.
His eyes closed, he raised his blades, flipped them and slammed them into their sheathes with audible smacks resonating through the room. Haji's left hand slipped behind his back as he gave a slight bow. He weaved several signs at a break neck speed, hidden away. His right waved out towards her as he spoke, a slight of hand maneuver to keep her eyes on something else. "My Lord Arashikage is correct, I do apologize, I should mind my tongue. Out of respect for him I will say no more. How ever..." He came up, his left hand coming back from behind him, two steps, three more. "how about we shake on it, to keep the pea-WOOOW!" The Shinobi was closing the distance but slipped on something, perhaps nothing, maybe even a bit of Toso'Kage's ink. Nonetheless he was headed straight towards Naoki. At this rate he would fall atop her, if she didn't dodge out of the way.
Tech [ B ] Source: Must come in physical contact with the opponent as if marking them in some way. The user performs a powerful Genjutsu on the opponent by first performing a series of seals. The opponent suddenly feels and sees himself chained naked to a large rock. Seemingly unable to move, the opponent sees a large flock of crows and ravens come swooping down. They land on and around the opponent and begin immediately ripping out bits of flesh from the body of the opponent and eating the flesh. The user feels immense amounts of pain. This is a Jutsu used specifically for torture, and it is incredibly effective. Not entirely useful inside of combat, as it does not contain any paralytics. Highly amused with herself she'd stare at the young man as his seething anger tickled her in all the right spots. Not able to help letting out a giggle the raven haired woman modestly covered her mouth in a mocking fashion. Well he wasn't wrong. Naoki was certainly a b***h and it amused her so much she couldn't stand it. Hopping to drive the young man a bit further Hajime seeming calmed down all of a sudden. The sudden change in demeanor of Hajime caused Naoki to frown. How boring! Get all ragey again! "Tch." Thoughts followed by a crude clicking of her tongue caused the Uchiha to take on an annoyed expression as she'd cross her arms.
With a bow he'd offer hollow words. Words that were only a ploy for something else. But what? Did he really think she was a fool? No matter how well he hid it her eyes perceived all. The molding of his chakra visible to her as a Uchiha with the Sharingan. Maybe he was really just a fool but it couldn't hurt to see what he had in store. Who knew, maybe it would be something entertaining at least.
Doing nothing to stop his approach. Would he know it was the same as walking into a lion's den? With her experiences with the core he could be dead five times over already. But as mother had always taught her. All good things come with a little patience. Eye brow raising to the proposition to shake hands Noaki's question was answered when he took his prop fall. She had the sharingan... He slipped on nothing. She could clearly see he was just a fool. Never the less she had already decided to take what ever he had head on to show their difference in skill. Knocking into her the two would both fall to the ground.
The next thing Naoki knew she no longer in Kansas. Strapped to a giant rock fully nude she'd seem powerless. Glancing at her chains the the sound of a whole flock of crows cawing turned her sights to the sky. The skies blacked out by the sheer number of birds brought a smile to Naoki's face. "So he is a fool. But at least it's interesting~" Closing her eyes the army of birds descended before violently pecking and clawing at Naoki's pure fair skin. Ripping hair, skin and muscle from her bones abruptly. The amount of crows would completely envelop her into a world of darkness. All her life has she felt pain. The pain of sadness but more importantly the pain of torture. In the Core, Anbu are taught to withstand torture indefinitely. It is a skill she is grateful for from Arashi. It is said its better to kill an anbu and take the secrets from their bodies rather than trying to willingly make them give them up.
In the deep abyss of Naoki's pain. Her eyes suddenly opened revealing a radiant crimson light as the tomes in her eyes slowly spun counter clock wise, illuminating her to light. The dark abyss of Naoki's suffering shattering bring her back to the real world. Mirror Heaven and Earth Change, Hajime would find himself in the very same hell he had tired to condemn Naoki too. But the question was. Was he trained to endure torture indefinitely?
The amount of time that had passed only a few moments. Glancing down Hajime sure was grabbing a hand full. Using the opportunely to feel up the Uchiha while she was under a genjutsu. What a pervert. But never the less he still had to pay much more for his "b***h" comment earlier. Without getting up Naoki's hand pressed against the floor beside her. Below both her a Haji a fuuin inscription circle formed. A lighting seal to be exact. The seal producing and summoning a large Iron Maiden but this one looked a bit off because it was an Iron Neko Maiden .
Splitting down the middle the Iron Neko attempted to consume a genjutsu induced Hajime before closing, sealing with chains and poofing away. Again this could only happen if Hajime as caught and not saved. Afterwards Naoki would return to her feet and giggle to herself.

The statue clamps around the target and is then wrapped in chains, which drag it back down into the ground. Guild Description: See official description. Requires minimum A Rank training in Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] and Kuchiyose no Jutsu [ Summoning Technique ]. The user will require a scroll inscribed with Fūnyū Fuuin and capable of holding large quantities of material. With enough iron already sealed inside the scroll, the use of Kuchiyose • Aian Meiden [ Summoning • Iron Maiden ] will use that iron to appear beneath a visible opponent to trap and seal the target. As soon as the iron cat has closed, and full descended back into the ground, it will seal itself, and its contents, back into the scroll of its origin. Living entities are kept in stasis until released.
Kameyo inclined her head slightly to concede the point that 'legal' genocide was no better than that done by an outsider or 'terrorist'. She listened with mild resistance anyways, mouth agape at the reveal that Kagami was going to seal away chakra. Adding onto Toso and Shinji's response, she chimed in, "Yes, removing chakra would make this cycle slower but it wouldn't stop. Things would evolve until they came back to a similar if not the same boiling point. No, the only way this ideal world of yours exists is if... is if you enslave humanity. You would need to remove free will to remove man's ambition, his pride, his love of competition or conquest or victory. I don't think you could do it," she said honestly.
"I don't think any of us could do it. Free will is a cost no one should be willing to pay, for any goal. At that point, we would all be inside an eternal genjutsu, not ourselves anymore." She physically shuddered at the thought.
She turned to Toso as he spoke, but she was still... unsettled. Something about finding common ground with such a formidable enemy made her uneasy. As if acknowledging Kagami's reason or humanity would only expose the fact that any one in that room was just as capable of coming to the same conclusion she had, that any of them could wage a 'just' war if they were so passionate.
She averted her eyes at the thought that she could stand where Kagami stood, holding a village hostage. "If... I mean, if we can fix this, before this war hits full speed and destroys these lands and all of these people... what would that even look like? How do we satisfy someone who has already decided to risk ruining the world for her ideals?" Compromise seemed... improbable. As much as Kagami was clearly hearing them out, it didn't belie the fact that she had also charged a flying village with intent to destroy it.
She turned her head sharply at Hajime's foolishness in tripping, and felt a rage build in her chest as her recent pupil was fondling Naoki. Angrily, a tendril tore from her skin and wrapped around Hajime's ankles, pulling him back with no kindness so he was on the floor by her feet - likely with bruised ankles. The tendril released his ankles and lashed into the air with further anger, releasing the sound of a whip crashing into the room. "Hajime... as humorous as embarrassing your leader may be, I do not forgive easily..." she muttered maliciously under her breath.

SHIONxxxxxMORI The Office window overlooking the village would flutter for the briefest of moments before a figure, clad in black clothing and grey armor with a white and blue cat mask obscuring their face, appeared, crouched on the window sill. No weapon was drawn, but she appeared more than ready for battle to the average ninja. Those more experienced might note slight signs of exhaustion, most likely from a previous encounter. Spotting the intruders didn't take long at all. It appeared to be three in total with the Arashi nin barely outnumbering them now. What's worse, is something in the back of Shion's head made her real uncomfortable about the blue one. From that dark place in her head mind where the Nibi dwelled came the all to familiar purr."Be careful Shion. That one there," Matatabi would gesture as if corporeal and in their world to Kagami. "I sense one of my Siblings within that one."
"Thank you, Matatabi. I will proceed with caution." The figure would remain silent, but the Kage would receive a mental message. "Same plan as before. On your cue." All Toso would have to do is give the order and she would decent upon the intruders in a whirlwind of violence. Until then, she'd wait, hear out where things went. Toso did say he was a good talker.
__ It was becoming increasingly obvious that her words were taking effect. The quiet boy who now spoke even recited one of her statements. She listened to his points but shook her head at the argument that her plan would not work. "You misunderstood me. I would lock all chakra away, including my own, and throw away the key. The Sun is setting on the shinobi world for good. It's easy to quibble over my plan and express doubts, but it's the only way that the world can begin to know peace and freedom." Her voice was confident but not rude or silencing as Shinji might have expected. She stood firmly in her convictions to ensure that the villages could not do what they did to her to anybody else. She pointed her full attention to the kage when he responded. He echoed a similar sentiment in critiquing her plan which she fully listened to but fundamentally disagreed with. "Of course you desire power and domination. I know this because right now you're bargaining with me to keep your village structure and position for your own ends. It would allow you to turn this village in a direction in your vision. While I may agree with your intentions, I cannot accept incrementalism for a problem this severe. Your intelligence and patience may have allowed you to get this far by outmaneuvering the corruption that surrounds you, but cancer must be cut out completely before it grows. How is completely relying on one person to fix this not short-sighted while my comprehensive plan is?" Once Kameyo started speaking she grew tired of listening to her and simply returned to writing her speech. At least the Kage made an effort to understand her plight and apologized to her. Kameyo just seemed determined to malign her. Kagami only stopped writing to look up at her and respond more briefly. "I'm not a fatalist. I don't believe that humanity is incapable of changing. It's plain as day that chakra and the shinobi system is the root of why the world is so f*cked up. It might not become perfect but I know it'll be better after I complete my life's mission." Kagami despised the cynical fatalism that plagued the room. In her heart, Kagami was an optimist for the future but by her hand would do anything to see that better future come true. The enchantress became much more alarmed when a masked figure entered the room. She looked at the newest member of the Spire soiree before looking back at Toso. "Didn't we agree that there would be no ambushes here?" She placed her pen down because her speech was now completed. She turned and giggled with delight watching the confrontation between Hajime and Naoki escalate.
Isobu sighed when Saiken breached the question. The giant turtle then reached out to connect with Matatabi as well from his underwater cave dimension. "She's kinder to me than t-to others. I keep hoping that she'll change." The turtle then retracted his head into his shell for a few minutes before shyly poking it back out. "She uses my power in ways I don't...uh...always agree with. I trusted her, but I c-can't go back on my w-word and take it away from her." This was a confession that Isobu had bared on his shell for quite some time. He was relieved that he was able to talk about it with his siblings though. "W-w-what should I do, Saiken?" At the moment, all he could do was watch. He felt helpless even as he watched Choumei being hurt by Sandayu.

Chakra Cloak Version 1: Advanced Effects 2/10 Advanced Effects: • The Sanbi can take one of the user's activations to cast any illusion or enchantment genjutsu that the host knows using demon chakra. Doing so adds on another primary sense at the host's discretion, and increases the targets that it can affect by one where applicable. Shinji was slightly taken aback when his outburst had been met with agreement from the Arashikage, then even more so when Kagami responded rather calmly. The confidence she felt in her plan was astounding. She seemed to believe wholeheartedly that the solution to the problems in the world could be solved by removing the shinobi way of life entirely. As if she couldn't see the world beyond that. The desolate wastelands that would be wrought with destruction of a different scale as civilizations experimented with newer, stronger forms of warfare to replace what had been lost. The settlements that have stood for hundreds of years being razed to the ground to meet that same end. Regardless of how she felt about the corruption that plagued the land, it was like a cockroach. It would survive, only to come back stronger and with more intensity.
Shinji shook his head. "I think you're the one who misunderstands," bold words from the Ketsueki genin. The turbulent rotation between fear and bravery was making him feel sick to his stomach. He pushed the queasy feeling down to continue. "It isn't just one person. You'd be placing your bets on entire generations born under his command. Any one of them could grow up to become as corrupt as any of the previous leaders of the shinobi world, but many more would grow up with the same ideals as Lord Arashikage. The same ideals as you. The way they would go about fighting the corruption is dependent entirely on them, but if you go through with your plan then you are snuffing out any hope of beating the system."
When the newcomer clad in black entered through the window, his eyes widened at the immense tone shift that took place. Kagami, for even the briefest of moments, appeared to be put off guard by the presence of the masked figure. He began to worry that the situation would devolve into a fight. Shinji tightened his grip around his scythe, his eyes darting back and forth between Toso and Kagami, waiting to see how this played out.

He's young. I beg you to forgive him bloop. It seems he's having plenty a punishment now." The glazed expression in the boy's eyes after being cow towed by Kameyo revealed something had happened. It could be insinuated he was under A genjutsu and the brief moments that Kagami's associate remained silent implied the same until that dynamic switch occurred which led into the metal cat ruining the office.
"Kagami. Are you quite sure it's comprehensive? What brought Chakra into the world, to begin with? Historical texts show, war existed long before Shinobi and the ushering in of chakra. Can you even produce a seal of such strength, you alone? As the boy says you cannot guarantee the progression of humanities folly. All it takes is one person Kagami. Isn't that not what's happening now? There may be a conflict of execution but the interest is still the same. Your will alone. The person that you are is driving all the people in Kogarashi and you are to tell me you cannot think a better less violent way to go about things?" What brought chakra into the world to begin with? The gods as they were called. The world of Shinobi bent to their wills and if it wasn't in their will to have chakra expunged it would never happen. Toso grew silent...in contemplation. "or is this because you need this happen. Someone or something you want to spare having to go through the same ordeals that the existence of shinobi has done to you bloop."
"Your actions thus far Kagami. They show me a woman who no matter how hard she screamed nobody would listen. She stopped screaming, and decided to fight... Your quest for a better world Kagami. From the sound of things to any villager Toso was belting madness. He wanted to ALLY himself with Kagami. The terrorist now laying waste to his lands. The woman who was responsible for countless deaths and destruction. On a national level this would be treason. Yet, on the national level it was Toso who decided what was treason within his own village. Toso's inherent tone was always the same but in these words, it sounding as if he were slightly pleading with the woman. A light tinge in tone that carried the wafting cry of 'let me help you, when no one else did.'

HAJI' DID IT! HE TOUCHED HER! He could tell he put her into his genjutsu, he was cackling to himself. Not even realizing he was hands first, right on her chest. But as swiftly as he had messed with her mind, he suddenly saw pitch black. In the real world he froze, in his mind he was staring at himself. Naked as the day he was born. He knew exactly what this was. Hajime watched one, two, five crows land. Already pecking away, pain seared through his body as more joined in the feast before-"AAAH!!" He yelped out, being yanked halfway across the office. It tore him from that vile Genjutsu. Haji's adrenaline was pumping, he leaned right up, feeling himself all over making sure he wasn't really hurt. He had missed a few things, head cocked back to Kameyo. "W-Wait what?" He was totally confused, his eyes fell on Naoki. Something felt wrong, he checked himself again. He felt like something was stuck to him, but soon just waved it off as left over paranoia from the genjutsu. Then he noticed the heckin' huge metal cat. "What'n the hell did I miss, Sensei?!"

Kameyo rolled her eyes at Kagami's insistence that chakra was the source of humanity's evil. Like humans were angels before they could harness chakra. She nodded encouragingly as Shinji and Toso spouted their own philosophies in return. Then Toso sounded a little too friendly with her for Kameyo's tastes. "Maybe we should listen a little less to the lady who thinks humanity only started committing atrocities when they found chakra. I mean, s**t, animals that can utilize chakra don't use it maliciously. Training an animal to utilize chakra doesn't corrupt it. The dangers of man come from man.
"The only way out of it is to remove man from the equation, and I know damn well you're not about to propose killing everyone on the planet. You're coming from an insane position, here. For somebody who was poised to burn the entirety of the village, the Arashikage certainly was talkative and hospitable to such guests with ill intent. Obei pouted and would cross her arms with the entire party in view ahead of her, those crimson eyes dull and clearly finding little interest in the current conversation thus far. It wasn't until the orange haired boy who ever so faithfully served the Arashikage spoke up to insult Kagami that Obei would lock eyes with him and let out a huff. "Watch your tongue or Obei take it." Her tone was deadly seriously, glaring at whoever had the audacity to insult her lady like that. Even if she was somewhat wavering in terms of support. Fortunately both Kagami and the Arashikage seemed to scold him for the outburst and thus the oni's anger did subside. In the meantime she uncapped the large gourd of kakkigori on her back and lifted the container to her lips to swallow several large mouthfuls of chilled sake.
The next person to question such authority was a girl with light brown hair. Her mouth gave the impression of being stitches, but her questioning and such of the ideals was enough to make the oni continue questioning her own motives inside of the empty space that was her mind. "Bloodshed begets bloodshed." the phrase circled her mind while Kagami's ultimate master plan. The news of which made Obei quickly jumped to attention. To permanently seal away all the chakra in the world to prevent more needless bloodshed. Another conflicted huff. Everything was happening so fast. First the brat from earlier spoke up and gracefully tripped on something and fell on top of Naoki, who remained pretty busy with taking care of her would be suitor, who returned the act of kindness with a jutsu of her very own. All these pent up frustration and anger. Her right hand balled as the cestus let out a soft creak of metal which soon found its way into the wall behind them. The swing had immense power behind it. Enough to tear a large gap in between the walls of the Arashikage's office where the hallway was now visible. "Talk too much. Very much."
Obei looked at Kagami and let out another frustration huff and soon went back beside her but clearly not of a calm mind.

SHIONxxxxxMORI The blue woman, despite Matatabi's warning, seemed to be the most passive, but Shion knew more than anyone that appearances could be deceiving. A small frame signaled a lack of physical prowess, but speaking so confidently, even while vastly outnumbered? It may have been bravado, but coming from someone who, from the sounds of it, over-powered a demon? She had to have some trick of her sleeve. The horned one, on the other-hand, could be read clear as day. Loud, threatening, wore their emotions on their sleeve... Do I even need to say it? It's a personality type Shion knew all too well, even if she didn't like to admit it. The only solace she found in the fact that she was so similar to the enemy was the Oni's apparent lack of discipline, a criticism that Shion honestly had no business giving until very recently... and even then, it was still dubious at best. The masked figure in the window would tense up at the swing of the girl's blade, readying herself to jump into action should the need arise. Shion may not be able to take Kagami in her current state, but this one... maybe. She wouldn't strike just yet, but Shion would angle herself directly at the Oni, focusing her yellow and green eyes on the girl, should the call to action be sounded.
Within the Demon's head-space, Matatabi would offer a simple solution, though probably not the best for everyone in the room. "Fight her, Brother. Deny her your power and make an escape. Some hosts can be reached, changed..." she'd trail off for a brief second, lingering on the thought of her own rough time with Shion, "But some cages are better off broken. We can help you, Brother. Please let us."
