Traci nodded, not allowing herself to hear his comment. She couldn't be falling for Marshall, again. She'd done it once and had her heart broken. She was not going there again. "Sure thing." Traci nudged Alec and he calmly took Marcus' limp body from Marshall and walked back into the base alongside Traci.

As soon as the other two were inside Keri sighed and released her Lugia form. "The both of you are right, you know. Traci is just like you. But it would be hard to replace you." Keri's spitfire tone was starting to fade. How the hell did he do that?

Keri smirked. "Well, that concoction that Traci used on Jessicilla is her own special blend and it's not going to wear off anytime soon. And even if we do wake the pathetic lug up she won't be of much use as loopy as she'll be. As far as Marcus goes, you said it yourself that our little piglet probably doesn't know anything about the location of the Darkrai Stone. And after hearing you talk about him, I'd be surprised if he even knew what it was." Keri smirked crossing her arms. "Translation: All we can do now is wait." she said shifting her eyes over to the setting sun.

Jacie grunted as she sat upright. Her head was pounding and her vision was unbelievably blurred. She looked around with what little vision she had and noticed a small window about twenty feet up with bars running both lengthwise and up and down the small opening. Even with her horrid vision she could tell that the window was too small for her to fit through. Besides, she could barely see the full moon from in between the bars. There was no way she could fit through there. Jacie eventually found her legs and attempted to stand up, many times resulting in a fall. But when she finally did find her balance, she made her way over the the iron door. Only to hear the sound of something ramming against another door. One Jacie assumed was just like hers.
Jacie sighed as she sunk back down to the cold concrete floor. How much time had passed since she passed out? Where had that woman taken her? Questions ran crazy through Jacie's head, blacking out the rest of the world.

Keri was walking down the hall with a manilla folder and a cup of coffee in her hand when she caught a glimpse of long black hair out of the top corners of her eyes. She looked up from the papers she was reading and noticed Marshall walking down the hall towards her. "Oh. West. You missed dinner. I believe yours is in one of the ovens. Just heat it up and it should be good to go." she said before taking another sip of her coffee and turning back to her papers. Not a few moments later, Keri stopped dead in her tracks. "Oh. And I had Traci and Alec check on our 'guests' just moments ago. Apparently our little piglet has tried to escape. But no worries. I had Traci re-enforce the door with our electric charged bars. The same ones that are on the window in the cell where Jessicilla is. You're free to go and check the standings if you'd like." Keri waited a moment before turning back and walking down the hall.

Jacie thought she heard something. A voice. A familiar voice...
"Marcus? Is that you?" she called out, hoping he could hear and understand her. Jacie quickly rose to her feet and turned back around, stretching out on her tip toes to reach the small slit in the top of the door.

Keri sighed as she reached her office. She placed her coffee and the folder down on her desk and then looked over at the window to the hangar only to find Marshall hard at work once again. There was just no breaks for this guy. How was he the only man on the entire team that could run that long without food? Every other guy would dash to the kitchen, scarf down the food cold, and still wish he had more. But not Marshall. But as strange as it was, it only made Keri's respect for him grow. She hadn't noticed but a small smile was stretched across her face and suddenly she was glad these windows were only one-way. Meaning that she could see Marshall but he couldn't see her.

Jacie smiled at the sudden relief. "I'm... Fine. What about you?" Jacie didn't tell Marcus about the fact that she still couldn't see out of her left eye. But considering her past with that dumb eye it didn't surprise her one bit. Plus she didn't want to cause Marcus any unnecessary alarm.

Marshall was wrong.
As much as she hated to admit it, Marshall was the one person that Keri knew she couldn't replace. She didn't put her trust in many people, but Marshall held a special place with her. And he knew it. At least, thanks to her sub-conscious he did. A part of her was grateful for that night. It had opened up so many doors for her. Not that she was to be bothered by all of the romantic mushy crap that normal women loved to read about in romance novels. After all, she was the leader of the most feared organization in the world. The brains behind the brawn. The key to the success of unlocking her goal. She couldn't allow time for romance. Besides, she was a pokemon. Pokemon aren't supposed to be with humans. Even if they were genetically altered.

"I have no clue as to where we are. Some situation we've gotten ourselves into, huh?" Jacie noticed something scribbled on the wall opposite her but couldn't make out the crude scrawl in the moonlight. Instinctively she reached for her belt. When she felt nothing but cold prison air, she panicked. "Marcus. Marcus they took my pokemon!" she said patting both sides of her belt where her six team members should be. "Those idiots that captured us must've taken them when we were knocked out." Jacie said calming herself a bit.

Keri smiled a bit and simply shook her head at Marshall. She gulped down the rest of her coffee and retired to the door next to her bathroom door for the night, eager to climb into her giant, extremely comfortable bed.

Jacie had been in Ditto form all night, trying to escape through the window but kept getting electrocuted. Finally she made her way to the bars on the door window. Carefully and cautiously Jacie reached out to touch one. To her surprise it didn't shock her at all. A smile spread across her slimy pink face as she slipped right through the bars. Jacie hit the stone floor with the click of her boots. "Marcus. Say something. There's a lot of doors out here. Which one's yours?" she said as she peeked in a few of the windows she could reach.

The rhythmic click of Jacie's boots echoed through the stone and iron hallway as she ran down it. Geeze. How long did this hall go on? She and Marcus must have been screaming in order for them to hear each other. It was then that the clicking quieted and Jacie stumbled upon a door that was covered in the same type of bars that were covering the window in her cell. "Well. The good news is I've found you. The bad news is I have no way of getting to you." she said as she approached the door, looking around the bars for some sort of way to shut the electrical current off without hurting herself. Jacie knew she could easily take them out with one smack of a Golem's Rollout attack. But getting past the bars was a different story entirely.
