I'll say this...if you are ever truly disturbed by a punishment...you can tell my brother about it...and he won't do it again. Scout's honor on that. I'm honestly surprised ye got off that light, barging into his throneroom. But enough on this....what do you say to a swim?

Bez looks down at the two hopeful faces and sighs. "I suppose so. They are water safe, you've seen to that... and they do need a soaking... but if I were you, I'd bathe them first before you let them in."
"Awwwww... Daddy..." moans Mara grumpily.
"Iwits okay... Em has pretty flowers by his baff... " says Ari touching her sister's side with a concerned paw.

Bez rolls his eyes once more but says nothing as the four younglings leave the cave and go up to soak in Emnast's pool. But as soon as they leave, he gathers the dishes in the sink and leaves them there to wash later, returning to the living room and the unmoving form of his sleeping mate. Digging out a brush, he once again grooms her, taking great care to move and exercise her limbs. He hasn't said anything to Emnast or the girls, though he suspects the dragon already has seen it, but the lioness is beginning to fade, slowly losing muscle tone and weight. He works diligently to do what he can, but in the end all he can really do is gather her close and weep, alone in the silence of the cave. To have finally gained her and then to have lost her all within the period of less than two years was an irony not lost on the fallen angel. If ever there had been a punishment designed to hurt him any deeper than this, he doubted the one over all could design one.

*And still Kero plays on...he's not giving up until he gets an answer from the one he plays to...and now he invokes his own magical music, combining his empathy into his song...still playing of the sadness of a torn family, and the joy of a unified one...especially one unified by Love...over and above all, he sends the image of a beautiful puzzle...but with one piece missing...one of the most important pieces...now lined with his magic, the Music easily carries into Paradisio, and into His ears*

A gusty sigh interrupts him at last... no words... only a sense of amused annoyance. Then the air before him brightens and a glowing wingless man steps through. In many ways he looks a lot like Ai, but his hair is light brown and his eyes a brilliant blue. Smiling gently at him, the man shakes his head.
"I'll give ye this much, Luciel Lightbringer, you don't know when to give up. Learned that from my brother did you? He's just as stubborn, it seems."

"Your piping has raised quite a ruckus, my friend... surely you are aware of this. I cannot say for certain what effect it will have on the situation, but I wanted to see who was doing this... imagine my surprise when I pop in and find you." says the angel shaking his head and sitting down... crossing his legs and leaning back. Kero cannot see what is supporting him. It may be nothing at all. Gabriel had a tendency to show off when he was not doing his job.

Anything to get my message across. You and I both know I can drive all your kind into tears, if I wish, with my magical music. I'm merely being polite right now, letting Him hear my song first. Every image and feeling I pipe is a true one, you know. Until I recieve some form of answer, I will sit here and pipe...I'll flood Paradisio with angel tears, if that is what it takes.
