Ezlo smiled. He was glad to see that he had been in his thoughts. 'Apology accepted.' He thought, as if Vaati could still hear. "Opal, I think he just might. His body would be at the mercy of magic still... it might be better if he was buried with it." Ezlo glanced at the robes on the ground. "Wait..." Ezlo hopped down from her hand and pulled up Vaati's sleeve to reveal a bracelet. "You made that for him... perhaps with your magic... that might keep him Hylian...."

"Sora? K-Kaya?" Taka said, almost unsure.
Kaya looked over at Taka and nodded.
Taka ran over and hugged them both. He was glad they were alright. "How did- What hap- Is it possible that-" Taka couldn't find the right question to ask.
"We'll explain later, Taka." Kaya said, her voice calm. "Right now," she looked at Sora, "There's someplace very important he needs to be... Luna, if you could, take him to the Inn as fast as you can." She said.
Sora nodded and mounted Luna. She was still strong enough to carry an adult even if it was easier to carry children. They ran off speedily.
Kaya stayed behind to talk to Jos and Taka.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________"It might..." She said bent down and removed the Minish Cap from his head. There was a flash of white and light blue light. Opal had taken his hand as the bracelet on his wrist glowed light blue. Vaati stayed the same shape. Opal reached out and touched the wind, but she could not control it. She had given her up her magic, for him. "Ezlo... is it alright... if I keep the Minish Cap...? Just as a reminder... that this was the reason Vaati went evil... but if he hadn't turned evil... I would have never had met him." She said holding the Minish Cap close to her.

Sora arrived at the inn. He ran up to the scene of Vaati's death. "I'm too late; aren't I?" Sora asked gloomily, already knowing the answer.
(Wait, what made up for his death?)

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal looked up at the fully grown Sora. "S-Sora? That's too bad... guess me and Kaya are the only one who can see you Ezlo..." She said down to Vaati, Ezlo was still near Vaati's wrist when Opal had put her powers in the bracelet. "Yeah... he's gone Sora... for good." She muttered slipping the Minish cap on her head. Suddenly, the red gem that was sitting on it glowed and turned light blue.

"I haven't been able to offer you very much when I was cursed. Consider that a gift from me." Ezlo answered. He glanced up at Sora, wondering if his mind matured enough. Was Opal the only who could see him? "Tell Silver to gather up Dark's robes and give them to Arious. I think a funeral is in order for Vaati."

Sora looked at her hand. On it was a tiny person, around the size of a person's thumb. "Wait... Ezlo? That's you? But... weren't you that hat?" Sora asked. While he had the body of an adult, his mind was still a child. Even before he was able to see the minish.
(Unless you don't want him to see Ezlo...)

I'm not sorry for killing him..." Opal said letting Elzo onto her shoulder. She looked at Vaati. "If its okay with you... I want to bury him..." She muttered. Silver - The Hopeless Elf____________________Silver nodded, without question she walked over and took the robes that Arious had given Dark. Of course he was going to be shocked at the news of Dark's death. But she knew, that he would never get revenge on a little girl. Opal had every right to get vengeance. She had loved Vaati, more than anybody.

Sora was grieved. He didn't care much for the details of Vaati's death. He was dead, that was all that seemed to matter. I had something to say to you... but it will have to wait... Sora thought to himself.
(I have to go to bed! You can move Taka and Kaya back to the inn if you want, Silver. Kaya's just telling them what happened. Sora's going to be by himself for a little while to think after the burial. Night!)

Opal - Wind's Child____________________"Sora, do you mind carrying Vaati? I'm a little too small..." She said looking down at her dress. Red blood of Vaati's had split all over the light blue. She looked a little disgusted with herself. "I'll be right back... can you take him over to that tree?" She asked pointing to a large old Oak. She picked up Ezlo and stepped on her tippy toes as she place Ezlo on Sora's shoulder. She ran off, her toes touching the ground rather than her ankle.
