Paladine shakes off the effects of Kerobian's spells and draws himself up with extreme dignity. "I do pity those who stray and lose their way." he thinks angrily. "It is those who refuse to learn that I cannot forgive. It is one thing to make a bad choice and regret it. Tak regrets only that she does not succeed. She cares for no one and no thing save her own blind ambitions and she had proven this time and time again. I would be a fool and was one many times over, feeling sorry for her in the past... but no more. She has been given an untold number of chances and has made fools of us all because of them. No more will she fool me again... Very well, as he does not wish for me here, I shall return home... with those of my people who have no young in his care. I do hope everything has gone well in my absence."

The have to come from somewhere... and knowing my sister as well as I do, I would not put it beyond her. Don't repeat my earlier mistake, Kerobian. Because of her, our people remain splintered and divided, to this very day. Because of her, I was deprived my mate. Because of her, hatred entered our world. Know wisdom when you hear it, do not presume to know it all on your own. Four times has she risen and each time we have fallen further down the path towards extinction than we were before he coming. You ask for empathy... I cannot. How can I empathize with one who sees all of creation as her private sandbox. You ask for pity. I cannot. Not when that very selfsame pity placed us on this path. You say I hate her. Perhaps I do, but not to the point of destruction. Mostly what i feel at this moment is disappointment not in her but in you. She is merely being true to herself. But you, one who has read the souls of many, know full well that there are those who no matter what you do for them are determined to walk the dark path of destruction. *There is not even a flash of aethr....not even a speck of the roiling substance Kero so lovingly plays with...he's not there...not even a flap of his robe...the parade ends with a wyvern who carries out a note*
All these are completely cured...and I have managed to cure all the others...not one has been to far gone to live, thanks to my father's suggestion...but I will need to continue soul grafting these for another month...then I shall release them...
