*Luciel comes over*
Simply curious...do you know where I could find a blacksmith?

Hlal-son frowns a little at the question. "Were the adults back in the valley, I'd send you to Carberie. He is a bronze who lives not far from my caverns. He does a bit of metal working on the side, nothing fancy though. Makes a solid bracket for shelves and the like, that sort of thing. What would you need a blacksmith for?"

*Luciel flies back to his cavern, and brings Hlal-Son the designs he had been working on*
I have her measurements...so if I can find a blacksmith...

Hlal-son examines the patterning and smiles, offering a few minor adjustments to make the collar hang more comfortably on a draconic neck. "For something of this nature I would send you to the dwarves near my caverns, but right now they are out of reach. I wish I could help you. Have you ever thought of learning how to do metal working yourself. There are some very detailed books in your father's library."

*Luciel shakes his head*
If Kero were here, I'd ask him...but he's not...and he can't get in, right?

Hlal-son shakes his head. "No one but Paladine can pierce that shield. I'm as much a prisoner here as you are, I'm afraid. Hopefully it won't be much longer, but if it is, someone will have to step up into that role. Is there anyone you know... who like to work with metal?"

*Luciel shakes his head*
No...not aside from Kero...and that must be a tough shield, if Kerobian vules-Noctuslain can't pierce it...
*Perking up his ears, Kero hears his name, instinctively following the summons with teleportation through manipulation of space*

And finds himself slamming his face against an invisible shield. The valley below is exceedingly familiar.

*Kero smiles*
Seems your shields hold up well, daddy...*Goes back to his Void, continuing to work on the dragonlings...he's managed to cure a few...and is soul-grafting them right now, to fix them completely...and he has discovered a breakthrough in what could be the cure for longer exposures...*

Paladine is getting restless, so he flies to just outside of kekrobian's tiny island and calls him forth.

*Kero pokes his head out, covered in aethr*
WTF do you want...whatever it is, I'm busy...complaints century can wait...tell the moaners they'll have to b***h at me about how I run things some other...Oh, it's you....what's up, Dad?

*Kero nods, pulling off his goggles of aethr*
Yes...about a third of them are completely cured, and undergoing soul-grafting right now...I have a way, I believe, to cure another two thirds of what is left...leaving only a sixth treated, but not cured...
