It is late, but not too late, the sun having just gone down beyond the horizon. So Igniska is still lying on her sunning rock outside her cave. She accepts the clips with a tiny cry of delight and asks him to help her put them on.

*Which he does....unfortunately, they clash with the diamonds on her harness...so her simply darts into his cave and replaces them with sprakling garnets...works much better with her skin, and he puts the diamonds into her hoard*

"Oh, C'le... they are simply divine... thank you... thank you..." she literally bubbles with delight and he suddenly realizes that Igniska really hadn't had anything pretty to wear up until now. And to her, even the harness was something grand.

*Now he knows what to do for her...to win her heart for good...and later that night...after lights out...he gets to work...constructing a collar like he had seen Kero wear...studded with gems and jewels...the designs are finished...but he'll need a blacksmith and a whitesmith...or an amulatore....to make them a reality...*

Morning comes early for someone who has spent most of his night attempting to create a masterpiece, and Luceil stumbles onto the communal feeding ground dead on his feet. Igniska and Coriander are already there and both of them come running over instantly.
"C'le! Are you alright? You look horrible..." cries Igniska in dismay.
"Let me go get Silveria... maybe she can get you something to help you feel better." adds Coriander with concern.

*Luciel waves them away*
It's okay...I'm fine...I didn't get much sleep last night...that's all.

Igniska eyes him funnily. "Were you worried I was mad at you or something? I mean you brought me that nice present and all."
Coriander smiles at Luceil. She knows where the clips came from, and she also know the only way Luceil would have known of them or obtained them is if her father had given them to him. She gives him a saucy wink when Igniska isn't looking and moved a little closer. "Dad must have had you running loops last night. I think he likes you."

*Luciel smiles at her*
He does....but what I was doing is a surprise for Igniska...my biggest one yet...she'll love it! But I need a Blacksmith to get it...know where I could find one?

She shakes her head. "Dad always went to the dwarves who live not far from our caves, but they are outside the shield right now. Still, if you can get a message to them somehow, I'm sure they'd help you. Especially if it is to make something pretty. There is a female there who specializes in beautiful metalwork."

*Luciel nods*
How far down the shield extend...I have a talent for tunneling...

So...want to do something tonight, if the old worm doesn't work me dead again?

Igniska smiles at his invitation. "I'm on the digging crew at the ruins today so I know I'm going to be filthy by nightfall. How about we find a place to swim, so I can get clean? we could make a picnic of it."

I'll see you tonight...hopefully with a good meal...and we'll swim to our heart's content...
*Flies over to Hlal-Son*
Sir...I'm just curious...how deep does the shield go?

"I wouldn't know, Luceil. Pretty far, I would say. Several chromatic races are prolific diggers. Why?" he asks in return stopping one young dragon who is scrapping too hard at an encrustation. "Easy... easy... who knows what lies beneath..." He moves along the wall to observe another worker, a young silver, as she carefully blows her icy breath on some stubborn plant growth. Nodding he moves down a few feet away and turning waits for Luceil to catch up.
