'Holy cow, we might have a chance,' thought Brianna, as she flew around and took a quick at the situation. The teams were tied, and somehow all the Snakes were still airbourne, though for how much longer she couldn't say, given how haggard their Beaters looked. Yarrick was down already, but Linsey was still on guard, and Brianna just saw Robin pull a move that looked like something out of a movie to keep Milan from being splattered across the snows. 'Okay, how's that guy still in the air? Ron wasn't kidding, Milan does play like a man possessed.'

Now, Lewis had the ball, and Brianna knew she needed to do something to keep the pressure off Jaelah, make the Eagles fight to keep the ball away from their hoops.

Coming in from the side, Brianna was able to swat the Quaffle from Lewis' grasp. She tucked the ball under her arm as she threw her mount threw a steep diving turn away from him. Brianna took a quick look to note the positions of the other Ravenclaw relative to her, as she thought, 'Time to turn and burn; Zombie-Eagle's going to be on me soon enough.'

Oh dangit. Lewis was stolen from pretty easily, even after somehow avoiding a first attempt. A pang of guilt hit him, knowing his captain needed what little break he could get. Lewis felt entirely useless, especially given that he hadn't successfully done... well, anything. He had to try again. He flew after Brianna, reaching out in hopes to get a lucky break.

Daphne watched the Ravenclaw team preform some sort of epic swoop, damaging one of her beaters even more. Damn it! They had a tight team, she had to admit. Their second year Chaser managed a steal, but Daphne didn't want to let that stand. She flew up alongside the kid, reaching out and hoping to steal.

One of the Slytherins was right on his side, but Lewis managed to adjust just enough to prevent her from stealing. Holy crap, is this why people liked this position? It was pretty cool! He pressed on, nose wrinkling a bit as he fought the cold to try and make it to the goals.

Echo was in the perfect position and the snitch was continuing to wobble towards her. She heard Ravenclaw call for a reserve and gritted her teeth to avoid looking. She knew Milan was in danger simply because he was the best and the captain, but if they seriously injured him...

No. The best she could do was maintain her position and catch the damned snitch before he got hurt worse.

Lewis narrowly avoided the steal from Daphne again, but now he was here. He'd made it to the goals. Could he make the score? Or would he become an embarrassment to his whole team? Biting his lip, Lewis tried to line up the shot. He threw toward the left, hoping for a miracle.

Damn it, damn it! Apparently the kid had a decent arm on him, and the quaffle made it just past Jaelah. That pushed Ravenclaw up on them, so if either team failed, Ravenclaw would take the win. Hopefully, hopefully Echo was close to the win. Jaelah tossed over to Daphne, so she took the quaffle and turned to head for the other hoops.

Okay. It seemed like Lewis had things under control for a second, meaning Milan had a half-second to try and get himself stable. He clawed at his scarf, frozen fingers untying the knot. He wrapped the scarf at one end around his leg, just over where the break was. He tied it tight, then did the same with the far end of the scarf, securing it around his leg just above his knee. That would have to work as a tourniquet of sorts, otherwise he'd have several more issues. For now, he furrowed his brows and pushed on. Nothing short of the gods themselves smacking him out of the sky was going to stop him now. He had a job, and he had to do it.

After Lewis scored past Jaelah, the ball was passed to Daphne, and Milan took off. He'd been off to the side, but now he was right back in the fray, hoping he'd bought himself enough time. Reaching out, Milan hoped to steal away the quaffle.

Daphne had to shake Milan off her tail. He had been a stealing machine this year, and she wasn't sure if her frozen fingers could hold on. Looking about, an idea popped in. "Karah! Go! Take it home!" she shouted, throwing the quaffle over to her teammate.
