Acelyn seemed to watch as the dog warded her attacks, making her smirk a little. Moving with the spider legs, the blonde circled around her opponent and ended to where she was behind Katy. There she saw the pesky metal man galloping towards them, making the Alkaline Owl roll her eyes in disappointment. "You are so boring." Acelyn dropped from the spider legs while the metal seeped into the ground. While she did so the metal that her legs had originally let pooled in the very spots she stepped in were now flying at the horsed man with vengeance, flying almost at the speed of a bullet and heading straight for the horse' chest.
The metal that had seeped into the ground now began to take over the shield the dog had put up and also pooling at Katy's feet. The metal slowly started creating a dome of pulsating metal around the two. At the rate it was going, the girl had two choices, die by the metal being sucked from her body or jumping out and maybe getting harmed. Acelyn threw her hands towards the bubble and metal spikes shot from the ground, creating a death trap around it. "I do hope you come out of there learning some new tricks. I am getting tired of your old ones. What was that phrase though, 'You can't teach an old dog new tricks?' I think that applies to you. I'm glad you think so as well."

((Will, per Mahar request. DT, you can still post a death scene, and I can respond to it retroactively if you want, but I need to move Will now.))
One matter dealt with and concluded. No more father trying to kill Anya. What next? Clearly, the much much more dangerous one armed electromagnetic Timothy. The kids were still alive thanks to the efforts of the ever so useful Victoria. She was practically the only one fighting Timothy. Everyone else seemed to be defending. Will was about to mitigate the problem and raise the chances of the new Heralds surviving. They would have better chance against one instead of two Heralds, even if Daryle Saxton went off to bash Thomas in the head. Without bothering with Anya further, the blonde devil sped off toward the motley crew of little Heralds and Anderson and old senile Heralds and Victoria.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, the folks in the vicinity would hear a very loud bellow, in a tone and voice much like Shizuo spotting Izaya...
"Timmmoooooooooooooothy!" Corny, but it served the purpose it was meant to serve.
A black flash crashed into Timothy, pushing them both to the side and then sent them both flying into the air, leaving Victoria and her attacks in the dust. They had narrowly missed getting hit by her attacks. ~Vicky, kids. Now. Leave Timmy to me.~ Nope, Will didn't really care what Victoria or Tim's reaction was.
They were now in the air and getting higher and higher and away from the others fighting thanks to Will's manuevering. "Hmm.... finally getting some one on one time, Tiny Tim." He patted the Lightning Herald on the head with a smirk. "Shorty. You never drank your milk. You never did get over the fact that milk doesn't make your skin white as the color of your hair..."

Nikolai panted and wiped blood away from his face; he had only barely dodged one of Rage's shadow duplicates' attacks. He was currently at a standstill in his fight against the duplicates. there were four on each side, but now there were only three. Nik had managed to take one down, and Rage had managed to remove one of his. It wasn't looking very good, and Nik could tell he was on the loosing side of the battle. Or he would be, if he was fighting fair. Up till now he had been trying to match the doubles in equal combat, which wasn't working, so he figured he could try something different. He knocked the duplicate he was currently fighting over with a sweeping kick and a swing of his scythe, bringing the blade down and preventing the shadow from dissipating. Nik concentrated on the shadow duplicate who was starting to fizzle out of existence and packed the shadow's energy into a tight sphere. If one were watching this, it would have looked like the shadow double had just been folded and broken into a sphere.
Nik picked up the sphere, held it tightly and concentrated, the sphere started to "glow black" though technically it wasn't emitting light, just pent up energy. The energy flowed out like a sort of snake, slithering through the air towards Nik's targets; the remaining two shadow doubles, who had just delivered their finishing blows to Nik's doppelgangers when the "snakes" grabbed them. The energy wrapped around them and started pulling them toward the sphere Nik held, their forms dissipating as they got closer and closer; the energy was emanating in such a way that it disrupted their forms. When they were close enough Nik let go of the sphere and watched as it and the two other shadow doubles dissipated instantly. Sighing heavily, Nik tried to catch his breath, that had taken a lot of energy.
Standing up straight and wiping blood off his face again, Nik looked around, still not seeing Rage emerge from her hiding spot. "That all you got you чертовски сука? Not exactly substantial if that's all a herald has to offer." Nik was merely trying to coax Rage out of hiding. She was pure anger, which made her very susceptible to provocation, and when one responded to taunting, it left them open for attack, made them sloppy. Nik knew this, and was planning to make Rage very, very, very, annoyed with him.

((Not gonna bother with a death post for Johan just because I can't think well enough tonight to try it. Here's Rage for you Suess. Luna, Maha, and Nicko, make up random things that happen with the shadows to entertain your characters if you want to. However, they will be diminished given what happens now with Rage.))
Rage was not taking Nikolai as a serious opponent. She was just enjoying and entertaining herself by watching the Dancing Owl and his little friends fight for their lives with her shadow creatures and dopplegangers. Her soft laughter could be heard through echos from the shadows in the area. It wasn't until Nikolai managed to destroy the last two of her shadow doubles that Rage actually noticed that she needed to keep up her assault. After all, she had been becoming bored anyway and had pretty much neglected Nikolai and left him alone most of the time. She hadn't considered him a serious threat to her standing as a Herald anyway.
But upon hearing the insult thrown her way in Russian, Rage was snapped back to attention. A shadow behind Nik pulsed in anger, giving off a blood red glow as it began to swirl in motion. "What did you call me, weakling boy!?" Rage demanded as her figured materialized from the pulsing shadow. It was coated in shadow as her emotion seethed and boiled underneath the guise she held of Sydney's body. The shadows around Nik convulsed into life and rushed forward from all sides in a wavelike form to overtake the Dancing Owl and attempt to drown him. "You shall not live to see another dawn!" Some shadows formed vicious cobra heads and raced forward with the waves of shadow, bearing down upon Nikolai to swallow him whole if possible. Because of this, her main focus now became Nikolai and her assaults on the other fledgling Heralds would diminish.

Nikolai chuckled as Rage came out of hiding, turning around to face her with a grin on his face. Things were going just as he had planned. Though he was confident, Nikolai really only had one shot at this, if he screwed up, he'd be dancing in the afterlife. When Rage summoned her shadows to swallow him whole, Nikolai stood where he was, waiting until the opportune moment to move. He sighed and just as the shadows were bearing down on him, the ground beneath his feet seemed to give way, but in reality, Nik had simply sunk into his own shadow. The timing was so close that to an outside observer, it would have looked like the shadows had actually eaten Nik. A few seconds later, Nik rose out of the shadow behind Rage and took a swing at her with his scythe, slashing her right across the back before he backed up. "That's gotta hurt. You seem very angry, maybe you should calm down, relax a little, maybe visit a spa, take a nap." Nikolai continued his taunting of the herald, relying on his quick reflexes to carry him through the fight. Even if Rage tried to predict his movements, she wouldn't be able to stop him, she was getting angrier and angrier, but also messier and messier.

Wow... Acelyn really liked to hear herself talk, didn't she? Kate thought to herself as she sighed and closed her eyes yet again. She could easily escape this situation with her ghosting. Since her form would be ethereal and ghost-like, her metal in her body would be inaccessible to Acelyn. Also, there was the added bonus of keeping herself unscathed by those pesky spikes outside the dome. As such, the Eternity Owl whispered her phrase under her breath and felt her body ghost through the ground underneath her feet and out side of the protective dome, which immediately fell apart because Failinis dispersed it once Kate was outside the area. Kate then proceeded to walk through the various metal spikes that Acelyn had set up outside the dome. She kept her body ghost-like so that she would be unharmed by the sharp metals. Once outside, Kate turned her gaze towards the cocksure Aceyln. "Are you quite finished?" Kate asked her simply as her thoughts summoned forth giant Hephastus who swung a large blacksmith's hammer down upon the spikes and crushed them into the ground. When he lifted the hammer, the metal was gone as it had been melded with the giant hammer. Hephastus wasn't just a blacksmith and associated with fire. He was also excellent when dealing with metals and had power over them. The giant then slammed his hammer at a high speed down towards Acelyn attempting to crush her just the same as he had with the spikes.

Rage's angry face gave way to a satisfied smirk when her shadows overtook Nikolai Krane and seemed to swallow him whole. At least in her perspective it did. But she was proven wrong not too long in the future as a searing pain slashed diagonally across her back. She let out a cry of pain, the shadows seeming to echo the scream as well. The Darkness Herald staggered forward a couple of steps before whirling around to face Nik, her own version of a scythe forming in her hands. "You cowardly piece of trash! You ruined my dress! I won't allow someone like you to mar my figure with your foul weapons! You will pay with your life!" Instead of swinging with her scythe, Rage shot her free hand forward which sent a redwood-sized log of shadow towards Nik from the ground in front of her. It would be quite tough for him to dodge it at the speed it was moving and how close he had gotten to Rage to begin with.

As the hammer went towards Acelyn, she went to liquid metal and dropped to the ground before being hit. Forming again to her normal being, she replaced a misplaced hair back into her pulled back hair. She laughed at the Kate's creature, walking towards her. "No. Not at all." Acelyn kept moving at a walking pace towards Kate, her smirk still on her face. "Does all this frustrate you? Do you just want to give up? Don't like how I am going around your shields and evading your monsters? I can see why you need Che. Someone who will baby you like these creatures do. Can't do anything for yourself. It's so pathetic." The blonde soon split into two more people, being three of her walking towards the annoying girl whose mouth should have been super glued shut so long ago. Multiplying by splitting in half more, soon there was around twenty of the Alkaline Owl. "Can't take us all down, Princess."

"Frustrated? Give up? Hardly. You sure do think highly of yourself, Acelyn. You shouldn't let your ego go to your head." Kate replied simply with a light shrug. Honestly, Acelyn's constant bantering didn't really get on her nerves at all. There were other things she found way more irritating than her opponent's voice. Kate's body remained in the ghosted form as Hephastus, Lugh, the horse, and the greyhound dissipated. She simply stared as the Alkaline Owl brought forth clones made of her liquid metal. This was an easy road block to get by for Kate. Her connection with the spirit realm and her ability to sense actual spirits told her which one was the real girl. "Of course, I can't take you all down..." Kate said, summoning Loki. "But I can damn well try." she finished as her own form dispersed in enough clones of herself to take on all twenty of Acelyn's clones.

Acelyn smirked, all of her clones stopping for a second. "I'm glad you came to play my game now." The real Acelyn and the clones went straight into the cracks that were formed by the constant bombing. "I know you can tell which one is me. But here, your spirits can't help you." Just as she said that the liquid metal from the multiple Acelyns pushed the rock, expanding it as the iron expanded. The metal shot up through the cracks around and under Kate, the clones forming and immediately attacking. All of them used the whip like attacks, not many differences in the way the real Acelyn attacked. One clone went after Kate, throwing the tendrils at her with anger. As the clones attacked, Acelyn sat as a puddle of metal in the cracks, chuckling at the battle above. By every second there was more of the iron, spreading down more cracks. Since her blood was iron, being exposed to the oxygen around helped produce more of her 'blood'. The girl finally came out of the cracks but as full metal, her skin now shone brightly in the sun. Everything about her was metallic, even her facial expressions.

The psychokinetic was focused once more on the white haired man. Amidst the burning buildings, explosions and war cry resounding in the distance, the electric Herald could see only Victoria and the small motley crew of Owls she defended so aggressively. The look in her eyes was that of a fighter. It always was. Probably even more so than the Herald of Body himself. This didn't change much of anything for the Timothy. It only made him want to kill her and erase her from the annals of time. She obviously knew no fear. Timothy still intended to teach her well the foreign concept.
While preparing for another onslaught of attacks from the woman, the Herald's attention was displaced when his name was called ever so loudly and obnoxiously. The voice was all to familiar and annoying as anything else. It went without saying that Tim was now simmering with rage. Just as he turned to look over his shoulder in the direction of the call, he was swept up into the air by the Satan Owl. "Milk? What th--..." After being patted, his blood literally boiled until sparks flew from it. "You unfit simpleton! Get off of me!!!" As a vicious response to Will's taunting, Timothy released enough electricity to fry any unresisting human or Owl.
~~~
Even though miles separated the Mastering Owl, Raven and the rest, the angered Owl could still easily see just what was taking place. His eyes were now just as strong as they ever were and his body had healed nicely from the recent battle. He was ready to perform once again and this time to a level far beyond his best. Thomas was there, Acelyn was and just as he hoped, Raven had landed already. She was lending her abilities to the fight though. No, rather than that, she watched and Che watched her, his mind probably racing with suspicion.
Roulin smiled at all of this. Lucien was elsewhere unable to contest him, the Heralds were surely being dealt with and Thomas and Raven were in the same place waiting. Kate and Acelyn were and together, their abilities would make nice additions to his own should they fall prey to a misguided shot or a misaligned attack. Slowing now, the Life Owl began to descend into the magnificently twisted area until the soles of his shoes gently crushed prints into the mound of snow beneath him. Roulin was now staring down each of the fighters and the nerves surrounding his eyes bulged and trembled with fervent anticipation. The young, confident Owl knew there was nothing to stop him now. This meeting of such powerful forces would only be the assurance of his potential.
((Will))
Black lightning had been sparkling about Will's person, thus giving him that appearance of being the "Black Flash" instead of the "Flash" when he sped off with Timothy into the air. And now, even as Timothy sputtered in confusion of the milk content after being patted, Will just smiled and continued patting in the same manner that annoyed Serena.
This white haired Herald was no different to anger than others. Then again, angering or annoying people was a William DeScythe specialty, a specialty that took no effort for the blonde elder. So, it didn't surprise him at all when the shorty sparky released electricity like a Pikachu growling and getting mad at random things and going "CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" like a Hakachu. The Satan Owl had actually anticipated this.
Sure, maybe some of the sparks did actually get through to Will. He didn't care. Electricity simply wasn't as dangerous to both him and Timothy due to the nature of their abilities and ranks. Timothy's little hedgehog tactic did cause Will to let go, but the two were still in very close proximity of each other.
The blonde laughed in response. "Unfit simpleton, he says. You've sacrificed your Herald family in vain.....you still haven't learned.... even after all those years." He shook his head. The Electromagnetism Herald could hold his own weight up and fly. If not, he was free to plummet into the ground and ground himself literally and physically. "Revolutionist once again...perhaps."
Nikolai smiled at Rage as she rounded on him and brandished a scythe of her own. She was getting even more angry. "See, there's a problem with that statement." Nik formed a wedge around his body as Rage shot the tree trunk at him, the wedge was sharp enough to split the trunk straight down the middle, though it did push Nik back a ways. Removing the shadow wedge, Nik smiled and said, "I've already 'marred your figure' with my weapon." Nik said sardonically, using air quotes and everything, just trying to make Rage even angrier. "So technically you already allowed it." While Rage's attention was on him, a shadow duplicate of Nik's rose up behind Rage and slashed at her back again with a shadow scythe, cutting across her back in the opposite direction from before, so Rage now had a large bloody X on her back.
As the blood began to flow through Elle's body and her brain, the technopath began to try and formulate a defensive move but there was pretty much nothing that she could do to regain control over the situation. ....Erin...r...run...and th...thank you Elle managed to project before the organic part of her brain was killed off leaving nothing but the machine as it shifted into an automated detonator. Erin would have to use all of her skills to survive, as Elle's body began to glow, metal pods were shot from the large machine. A brief silence filled the air before the machine let out a menacing electro-pulse destroying everything around them and exploding...Elle was now dead....and anyone in the near vicinity would be too.
Timothy chose not to respond to Will's last few words as he fell. Had he been able to make them out over the whipping winds that only worsened as he tumbled, he may have given the blonde devil a tired all the while he fell. Rather than catch himself in the air, he allowed himself to fall towards the ground or rather towards a church he'd spotted mid-tumble. His body was already coated in his element so the impact against the ceilings rather dense, metallic shingles didn't bring him much pain. After landing on a bench stomach first though, he did wince somewhat.
The wooden bench he landed upon halved due to the heat of his exterior. The wall to the right of him was destroyed thanks to the massive arm he'd created to fight against Victoria. There was no need for it now that he was fighting someone with electricity as an ability as well. It fell to pieces bringing with a large cloud of dust that fell over him like a transparent, dark brown blanket. The Herald didn't have to turn to know that Will was still above him. To show that he was still there ready to fight, he turned an fired a bolt of electricity at the Satan Owl.
((Will))
"Giving up already?" the Satan Owl arched an eyebrow as Timothy plummeted. Of course not. It would be simply too boring and unlike Timothy if that were so. Due to the dust caused by Timothy's fall and the electricity sparking, Will failed to notice that Timothy had actually fallen into a church. If he didn't notice before he reached the area, he'd feel it upon landing inside.
As if to answer his question, Will noticed a bolt of blue electricity which could only be from Timothy shoot through the dust and toward him in the sky. "I feel you too, Timmy....but you're still a tad slow...." The devil dodged the bolt and shot down towards the church, taking the bait.
As he neared the crumbled structure, he felt a faint tingling annoying sensation. He didn't slow down though. He knew all too well what that sensation was. Timothy had landed in a f**king church. If it were priests, sinners, or other church goers in the church, it wouldn't have been an issue. However, the real issue was Will's weakness; Bibles. Bibles didn't exactly negotiate and they couldn't really be influenced besides being burnt. They were simply inanimate objects that anyone except Will, unless he had gloves on, could toss and throw and touch. To make it worse for Will, the blonde could not use his lightning to destroy the books.
The Satan Owl did not have gloves on. Yes, he did have shoes on....because he wasn't a bum like Che. And yes, somehow, William DeScythe still had that derisive smirk on his face even as he landed with a loud crash, intentionally making an indentation in the ground as he landed and bringing up more dust.
Bibles or not, Will was more than seasoned when it came to fighting. He knew ways to deal with the Bible threat, even if it didn't make sense to other people. As his former successor had admitted, the Satan Owl's mind was so twisted it was impossible to read him. One could guess at his goals, but no one could guarantee that the guesses are ever correct.
So, Will took an offensive, choosing to charge directly at Timothy's aura through the dust. Electricity would only be minimal obstacles to either of the two, leaving the true tactics to the surrounding environment and anything except electricity. "Av Choque~" For the sake of lame humor, Haka can imagine Will charging like a Shizuo toward an Izaya....except with much more precision and better timing.
