*Kero does the library first, then goes and finds Silveria...though he is cautious....worried she's still mad at him*

She's a little cool, but not angry. Not when Luceil's accident has uncovered something she's been dying to find.

She nods and asks if he wishes to be part of that team. "After all this, you might not wish to be running around down here... not while they are all still cleaning up after the flood. I warn you though, it won't be easy and you will indeed have to promise to follow Hlal-son's instructions to the letter."

*Luciel nods*
I started this...I had best see it through to the end!

*And so he goes, investigating the ruins with the team assigned to Hlal-Son...exhausted that night when released, he flies to his cavern and drops into a deep sleep, not even caring that it's dark inside*

At first it appears that the complex is a city of a sorts, or, at best a center for living and working. Hlal-son has declared the second level off limits for the time being amd, having found several large dead sun-stones strategically placed throughout the lower level, has had the young dragons carry them outside for recharging.
Half of the investigation team is working in the caverns, the other half is up in the meadow, helping to uncover what appears to be a grand plaza or staging area.

*Luciel, like the other coppers, is ing the caverns, wishing he had some help with a large stone the other day...and he is still curious as to what's on the second level*

Coriander has been copying down the reliefs around the main chamber, while the others work in teams going off into the numerous chambers around the "courtyard" which is what everyone has taken to calling it. None of the chambers contain anything, although a few do have shelves cut into the walls. Mud and debris litters everything, and numerous small fish, now dead, had to be removed as well. It is not an easy job but the thought that they are walking on the floors of something that might be as old as Paladine himself keeps many of the youngsters focused on their tasks.

*Luciel, though, is soon bored...and curious as to what is one the second floor...so one day, about two weeks after they get into things, he sneaks off and up there*
Note: **Ignore posted actions, and have him stay on first floor, unless your intentions were for him to go to second floor**

**took ye long enough...lol**
The second level is completely different from the first floor, it is also fairly dry up there. There are a few damp regions, but it is mostly from condensation. And he discovers that the second level also has ramps leading upwards into the darkness.
At the top of the ramp he has used to go up, he finds a long wide hall with carved arches leading off into the gloom. The hall is empty, of decoration and furnishings, though when he examines one of the archways, he finds tiny flecks of paint, leading him to believe that this level too may have been far from austere.

*Pulling out his lightstone, he flies up to the arches, checking the paint, and then explores around some more, looking to see what can be seen*

The first arch leads to a rather large room filled with stone statuary... mostly busts... of people and individuals long since dead. There are a few large pieces though, all exquisitely carved and what appears to be a stone table in the center of the room. The room is filled with the dust of ages. Nothing but the statuary remains.
One piece set in what appears to be a place of honor catches his eye right away. It is Paladine. He recognizes him instantly, looking only slightly younger than he is today. At the statues feet sits a young elf, who is playing on what looks to be a small lap harp.

*Immediately, he etches the scene into his head...but doesn't fly back down just yet...he's not that stupid...and he explores even further inwards*
