  Hello, Uriel.

Sythe shook his head. "He wasn't all that kind. When I was his slave, he didn't mistreat me, but neither did he treat me as a proper person. I think when he set me free it was because he was tired of me, so he gave me some money to ensure that we wouldn't cross paths again." Sythe said, as he finished his curry. Vanity's plate and used silverware floated over to res ton Sythe's and he picked them up, heading back to the kitchen. "Be back in a moment." he said as he went through the doors.

After setting the plates in the dishwasher, he returned to the dining room. "So.. what would you like to do now? I am out of ideas." Sythe said, running his fingers through his hair.

Fayte listened patiently as he spoke. So, she had been right. He was not truely the person he'd been pretending to be at first. That improved her opinion of him slightly. "My personality is... refreshing?" She repeated, slightly confused. It had been a while since she'd been complimented. It was nice. What suprised her further was when he apologized. Those were words she didn't think she'd ever hear and she smiled. He seemed like a nice person, first impressions aside. Fayte sniffed subtilely at the air, to find he smelled like a fox. He was a kitsune, then? "Well, yes. Would anyone in their right mind prefer to remain here?" She stood and slowly made her way over to the barred wall that Lein stood on the other side of.

Lein smiled softly, sliding the cage doors aside, a task only accomplishable by someone on the outside of the cell. Stepping to one side, he placed a small package at the base of the cell's bars; payment for Fayte. "Now, since the bars are out of the way, and you are... paid for.." Lein said, saying the word 'paid' as though there was something vile in his his mouth. "Let us go." he finished his statement. He looked around at other cages, the hopefuls that had gotten up and moved to the bars had now dropped their hopeful front, some of them sinking to the ground while others went and lay on their cots. If I could, I would spare every one of these slaves, but.. unfortunately, I can't, according to the mistress of the Mansion.

"Surely I can purchase more than one slave?" Lein asked, directing the question towards the owner of the Mansion. "You most certainly can not." The mistress snapped, leaving it at that as one of her.. henchmen, if you will, escorted Lein out of the room. Defeated, Lein walked out of the room, heading for where the slaves were held.

Doran's ears perked up as he raised a brow. He was curious what this man was talking about and that was the only reason he still stood there. Or so he thought. Gunther's words stirred some deep, long forgotten memory in Doran. The boy shook his head and walked over to Gunther, crossing his arms over his chest. "You've told me a million times. I'll go when I feel like it. And what do you mean 'another person's blood,' huh? Who's Tii'gra?" asked Doran, his voice firm and demanding answers, seeing that Gunther seemed to have his defenses down at the moment.

All of Gunther's muscles in his body tensed when he heard Tii'gra's name. "If you want to know... who Tii'gra is... see for yourself..." He opened his memory banks, giving Doran a mindlink to every single memory he had of Tii'gra. "Look at what you want." He noted feebly, still not moving his body unless necessary as tears continued to roll down his cheeks. He readied himself for whatever sarcastic comment Doran was going to shoot back at him.

As said and seen before, Doran didn't trust magic and anything like it unless he could control it. So he was a bit frightened by Gunther's memories. Numbly he sat down, ears askew in confusion. "But... what's that got to do with me?" He didn't understand the connection. Leaning back against the doorway, he looked at Gunther for answers.

Gunther broke the mindlinks, to keep his energy use at a minimum. "You hate me just as much as he does, don't you?... So much that you could kill yourself with all the grief I've caused you? He sounded just like you - he even called me an a*****e like you did." He looked away from the redhead. "That's why I'm asking you - if you feel caged again, leave. Don't hang it over my head. Just go. I'll pretend you didn't even exist, if you want. Just please... don't torture me anymore."

Doran stared at the other and bit his lip. "I... I don't hate you. A strong dislike, yes, but I don't hate. And obviously the fool wasn't thinking right if he killed himself over something so trivial." The boy gave an indignant snort and slowly stood, crossing his arms over his chest. "That Tii'gra of yours was weak, if he couldn't handle this." A little annoyed look crossed Doran's face and he gave a soft growl. He walked over and stood right in front of Gunther. "Hey, look at me. I told you I'll leave when I feel like. If just staying here causes you pain, I might as well stick around a bit longer." A mean little smile tugged at the corner of his lips and he turned, flicking his tail. "I won't become a memory. Deal with it."

She shrugged, "Funny, so am I." Vanity said as she stared back up at Sythe. He looked...unsure? Vanity couldn't help but wonder has he had any companion other then that of the one person he spoke of with such sadness in his eyes. And why had he become a master? It's not like she could just go up to him and ask all these personal questions, they had only just met for barely a day, ait would be like a an invasion of personal space. Plus, Vanity was not like that and she knew that when he is ready he would tell her...if he was even to consider telling her at all. But it was only fair, she was living with him now. For how long she didn't know. Which rose another question Vanity needed answered, why had Sythe even freed to her to begin with and for what purpose other then companionship, was he really that lonely?

So many questions filled her head at such a short amount of time it was overwhelming and so Vanity turned back to the matter at hand, "I don't know, what do you usually do around here?"

Iyla looked quietly back down at her healing hands. Such time had passed since then. She quietly got up and walked over to the bars that withheld her. She stared out from them, completely silent, her eyes slowly absorbing everything. Many masters had passed. Few had even glanced at her.

But who would ever want a slave with a white ribbon? They don't even know how long it is...

She continued to stare for a few more minutes, ignoring the other cages and the guards that stood protecting them. The outside world. She closed her eyes, kneeling slowly, her face still pressed against the bars. It was a beautiful place, as far as she remembered. She sighed and walked to sit on her cot again, staring down at her hands. At this rate, she would begin talking to herself, or become mute.

She reminded herself to avoid being dramatic and lay her head on her cot. There she sat, thinking and waiting, hoping dearly her faith in freedom would not be crushed.

A small wave of relief swept over Gunther as Doran noted that he didn't hate him. "It was an accumulation of several things, not just living here, that made him kill himself... but part of the reason was because he couldn't stand me, even though I told him I loved him." He suddenly glared when Doran observed that Tii'gra was weak. "He was NOT weak! He was just so willing to be free, that he'd kill himself to get it... I boxed him in too much... I caged him again... and he would have rather died than live like a slave to someone's will again." Gunther was startled slightly when Doran went straight up to him. "... heh. Then we're settled, Mr. None-of-your-business?" He chuckled a little, wiping the tears from his eyes.

Doran narrowed his eyes. "Hey, I didn't call you an a*****e yet, a*****e." He growled and turned away, walking toward the door. Great... this guy's gay? I better hurry up and get out of here then... He thought uncertainly and rubbed the back of his neck. His tail flicked back and forth as he walked and his ears were perked up and listening. "Settled, huh? I'll think about it."

Sythe scratched his head. "Well.. usually I'd go out back and practice martial arts, or walk around in the forest near here." he finally said, after a moment of thinking. He let his hand drop from his head, as he looked to Vanity. "I'm in the mood for a walk, how about yourself?" he asked motioning to the yard outside the window that was in the dining room. One could clearly see a training area, as well as a huge expanse of forest behind that.

Vanity shrugged, "Sure, a walk would be relaxing." Vanity started up from her seat but soon forgot that she had it crossed behind the leg of the chair...and soon was topling downward, Eep! Screw hand-eye cordination!
Hair all over the place and white dress sprawled out underneath her, Vanity was soon lying on her back...in the dining room floor...in front of Sythe. "Hi." Vanity cheekly smiled to her upside down view of Sythe.

"And I honestly hope you do..." Gunter muttered as Doran left the room. He stared at his bedsheets, not really knowing what to think - and not wanting to think, for that matter. Suddenly Charles leapt into his lap, and it made him smile slightly through the tears that continued to well up. "You're always there when I need you, you silly cat..." He scratched behind the cat's ears, and the cat licked his hand and left to find Doran to screw with him some more. (XD)

Sythe didn't react fast enough to Vanity's falling, and shrugged, seeing as she wasn't hurt, or at least that's how it appeared. "Uh.. hi. Are you alright?" Sythe said, as he used his psychokinesis to bring her to her feet. "That seemed like it could have hurt." Seij added, combing his hair once again with his hand.
