Namida, you're so cute! I wish my hair curled as nicely as yours does. 3nodding

Suki, this outfit is much prettier than any of the ones I've seen you wear in the past. I really like it, and think pink suits you better than black. Those shoes are a great find, too.

It is a pic of me, Kimiko! Ya this is the only pic I have of myself in Loli right now but I'll have more up by this weekend when I finish sewing my Blue Sweet Loli dress. Lol I have other dresses but I haven't had time to take pics in them either because of college and work crying . Anyway here is one of my Loli creations (yes the dress and headdress were sewn by me but it toke me quite a bit sweatdrop )

You did such a nice job with that dress. All that lace would have driven me insane, since I don't like lace that can't be added after the dress is done. I need to finish it before seeing where I want my lace. sweatdrop I'm looking forward to seeing your blue dress, too. Do you use patterns from the Gosurori, or make them up yourself?

I like your hair a lot better than that wig, and it would be really adorable if you were able to style it into ringlets.

P.S.
Nice room. <3 Ed

Thank you 3nodding As strangely as it sounds I had to chemically straighten my hair to get it to curl that uniformly. But it still holds in all day with no hairspray or anything.

I use regular patterns once in a while but I alter them to be more Lolita but I don't use Gosurori patterns which I bet would be easier to use sweatdrop . As for my hair I have done in it in full ringlets before and all I can say is that I look like Shirley Temple! My mom use to call me her porcelain doll when I use to do my hair like that blaugh .
Oh and thanks for the room, I actually changed it so where Naruto is Cloud is there, and Ed was changed to Dir en Grey, and Fruits Basket is now Gackt. I change my room a lot. sweatdrop

Wow, lots of pics.

I'm so desperate to take some. I really want to get this outfit finished, so I can frolic around in it.

Ah! I'm in the same situation!

I sketch out the dress i want to make and then I draw out the patterns on newspaper. It's really effective and that way it'll come out the way you want it too.

Good job! Sometimes I do that, but I usually use a pattern for part of the dress, and then make up the detailing myself.

That's very good too, I have patterns as back up when I can't figure out the shape of the clothes. Its also time efficient which I need a lot of right now in college >.<

Oh, well you did a really nice job. 3nodding I never thought of using news paper. I usually just use gift wrapping tissue paper, because it's good for tracing patterns, too (preferably Hall mark's).

In the few outfits I've drawn up from scratch I've drawn out the plans on paper first too. Currently I'm trying to employ the same technique using the specs from a gosurori pattern. I'm trying to caculate my own measurements into the pattern so that it will fit. They use a pretty simple formula. For widths it's the mesurement (i.e. bust) divided by the number of pieces which will be covering that area (usually 4, for two front and two back pieces). Then you add 4cm extra to each piece for seams and slack (I like to do a 1 cm seam). Lengths I have yet to get into, and other than that it's usually a one-size-fits-all for things like darts. I find that I like working with centimeters more, because it's a smaller, more precise unit, and there's no fraction converting for different measurements. Ah, but now I'm off topic. ^^

I lied I did use a Gosurori pattern once but it had been such a long time ago that I didn't remember crying . As I was cleaning my room I found it in the back of the closest. Right now it's a work in progress but I toke a picture in it anyway:

I also toke pictures in the sailor dress I finished (inspired off a fanplus one) and a red one that has yet to be finished (also inspired from fanplus).:
