When life pushes me, I push harder, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Mairi shrugged. Can't hurt anything, really. Though I will admit that I'm not familiar at all with what most people would think of as cute or romantic... I said that before just to throw you off, she said softly with a snicker. ','

She gasped softly, wincing as she felt her thigh cramp up painfully, gritting her teeth. Ugh... cramping muscles might be better than scrapes and bruises... but not by much, she said softly. Had she shifted her leg more, she would have noticed that her thigh on the outside where the brace was on Lucas' leg was an angry reddish purple. 'I have it as narrowed as I can get it... but it still feels like red hot needles,' she thought.

Unless there's some way to accelerate the healing of bones that I don't know of that you do, I don't think so. I don't know much about the human body, but I do know that what surrounds the bones is mostly muscle, and the thigh is densely packed muscle. If a bone snaps, logically, it'd do damage to the muscle, which would mean that the muscle and bone both would have to heal before any sort of therapy to keep him from losing muscle would be possible. I know from experience... though my parents never took me to a hospital... after what she did... breaking my arm simply because I wasn't able to answer a math problem she didn't explain clearly, she said softly as she grimaced, glancing at a pockmarking scar on the inside of her right forearm; luckily for her, it'd been a pretty clean break, so she'd been able to reset the bone... in an extremely painful fashion, obviously. ''
