(posting for SCN, as per his request, since he won't be around for a couple weeks) "Thork lift with knees, not back," the half-orc says matter-of-factly as he hoists Mercy upward, pushing her up with his hands (though he seemed a bit shaky this time around - gotta love pavlovian responses). Quote: Strength check of 10 vs DC 10.

She nodded and prepared to try one more time. It really wasn't that hard to pull herself up! Why hadn't she practiced more climbing!?
Standard Action: Climb roll 2 to get over the ledge.

(ERROR: Goblin S2 is in square B1.) ROUND 920 - Aelgeirr, 9 damage, 2 temp HPs 18 - Ambra, 7 damage17 - Goblin 2, 8 damage, Soiled15 - Goblin 1, Slowed Forever14 - Goblin 3, 13 damage, Soiled, Slowed until R916 - Thork, 18 damage, 15' down. 4 - Mercy, 10 damage, 15' down.-------------------- What in the 9 hells, guys? Ambra's frost ray chills a bit of the portcullis. Aelgeirr, your own attack misses by a wide margin, both viable targets nimbly avoiding any threat you pose. On the flip side, they seem to be imitating your rolls, perhaps out of mockery? Aelgeirr is in no danger this round either. Ambra! MERCY HAS RETURNED! Praise be to Sehanine, for her servant once more graces everyone with whooooops nevermind there she goes again. It's entirely likely she may need some assistance.... Mercy, as one might expect, there's some falling damage in this for you and your partner in crime. Thork might be half-orc, but the other half is apparently half-gentleman as he tries to cushion your blow with his own meaty frame. Mercy and Thork each take... 0 falling damage as Thork catches Mercy in his arm! Good gods above even the falling damage can't even.I don't know what to say.

With a rage born of frustration and desperation in equal measures, Aelgeirr would try to slam hsi sword through the head of the most wounded goblin he could see as he gave out a angered, warbling battlecry.

Thork quirked a brow at the Avenger who once again fell to him. Luckily, he caught her.

Right, just one arm, and then the other, and then a le- oops! What on earth did they make this floor out of!? Luckily she found herself caught gracefully this time, in certainly not an uncomfortable position, and her pretty little fluttering eyes showed it. At least until she was forced to give an embarrassed huff. "Well normally I might, were it not in the middle of a battle. Really, it's just that cursed floor. Maybe if you could give me a little push this time."
Action Held until Thork lifts her back up. If he does, Standard Action: Climb roll 1 to get over the ledge.

Thork would give Mercy a dubious look. "No worry, Mercy. Thork push it, push it good. Thork push it, push it real good," he promises her lyrically. Quote: Strength of 11 vs DC 10 to lift Mercy up.

ROUND 1020 - Aelgeirr, 9 damage, 2 temp HPs 18 - Ambra, 7 damage17 - Goblin 2, 8 damage, Soiled15 - Goblin 1, Slowed Forever14 - Goblin 3, Slowed Forever16 - Thork, 18 damage, 15' down. 4 - Mercy, Bloodied, 14 damage, 15' down, sprained ankle (Slowed, Provokes CA; lasts until treated with a Heal check)-------------------- The good news: Aelgeirr would deliver a brutal pommel hit on the goblin behind him, bloodying it! Though immediately after the strike, Ambra expertly shot a beam through the portcullis and beneath Aelgeirr's armpit to deliver frosty death to the goblin! Two down, one to go! The bad news: Thork once more begins to lift Mercy upwards. However, her balance became shaky, and she fell before she could get a good grip! Mercy takes # falling damage, and hurts her ankle upon impact! Mercy, you are slowed and you provoke combat advantage to any adjacent enemies. This will last until someone tends to you with a DC 15 Heal Check or you receive magical (non-Martial) healing! Also, climbing will not be an option for you until it gets treated. The remaining goblin suddenly is feeling mighty nervous, and it shows as his sword thrust at Aelgeirr lacks any real motivation and is easily dodged! Everyone, you're up again!

Up and down. It was like a little game~ Except this time the game went wrong. She didn't even get a good grip on that cursed surface before gravity took over, sent her tipping out of the orc's grasp, and back down to the ground. She felt her ankle roll as she tried to land on her feet, sending her all the way to the ground this time, but it wasn't until she accepted the hand and tried to get back up that the pain hit her in full. She quickly let out a harsh hiss and fell back to the ground, reaching down to rub at her ankle.
"Ffff... okay... new plan. Just... gimme a moment. Ow."
For the moment she spent her time tending to her ankle, getting a makeshift brace for it out of the spare materials she had in her pack.
Standard Action: Heal Check! 21 vs. DC 15.

ROUND 1120 - Aelgeirr, 9 damage, 2 temp HPs 18 - Ambra, 7 damage17 - Goblin 2, Bloodied, 29 damage, Soiled15 - Goblin 1, Slowed Forever14 - Goblin 3, Slowed Forever16 - Thork, 18 damage, 15' down. 4 - Mercy, Bloodied, 14 damage, 15' down-------------------- With one goblin left, Aelgeirr would lay into him, delivering a crippling slash across the goblin, bloodying him! The goblin stumbled back into the corner against the portcullis, which gave Ambra an opening to hit it square with another ray, chilling him to the bone for more damage! He was still standing, but barely! He attempted a last bit of retribution before he went down, but the goblin's attack rolls apparently lost all momentum once they started dropping, and his clumsy swing was easily sidestepped by the Eladrin. Down below, Mercy tends to her own injury! You're able to give it a bit of reinforcement, making your ankle somewhat serviceable for the time being!Thork feels useless in this situation, and simply watches the magic beams being launched up above. Everyone, you're up!

Aelgeirr let loose a feral growl at the cowering goblin. Unfortunately for the goblin, the Eladrin was too angry to put any contempt into his blow. That might soften it , should the gods of fate not intervene.
