That Green Gentleman Anon {;3; I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting so long! And uh... I actually don't know where they were manufactured but /shrugs/ That poem was chilling too heart Have to reply here & reply to it properly /Picks up & snuggles/ And I have had more bus adventures too <3. How are you?}Voyager had to think about that for a moment. "Huh... First? Well when I rolled off the assembly line in '82 it was somewhere in Michigan. Not sure if I remember where, cause I didn't stay long; and apparently the plant burned down. They first shipped us off to a dealership in Missouri. After a while I ended up in New York and joined the Homestead." The Plymouth chuckled at Orrin under the blanket

Sciurus sighed heavily as he made his way through the hospital hall, tucking a jar of peanut butter into his pocket. If there were any mercy in the world, soon his regular shift would be over and he would just have the other two making a mess. As he passed the counter, the surgeon absentmindedly went through patient charts in his head and contemplated the horrors of giving Voyager peanut butter, until a woman's voice caught his attention. Sciurus stopped, looking around. "Sciurus? I am here. What are your present ailments?"{O.o YOU! /glomps/}

Sammy sweatdropped, truly at a loss for words. emotion_sweatdrop "I...uhhh..." ^_^' "Have a...splinter..."She coughed awkwardly, ashamed for even being there. She assumed her boss would refer her to a clinic, not a full blown ER to waste this professional's time..."I uhh...will just show myself out..."OOC: Me? o.o ...Ahh! *topples over* e.e'

Sciurus raised an eyebrow at her and stepped closer. No, his cleaver was still in his belt, and he wasn't covered in blood for once. Check. "I see..." Well at least it was something simple. "I have tweezers, bandaids and alcohol wipes if you wish. Is it a particularly dangerous one, or the common wooden variety?"{/attempts huggles/ S: Writer, bear in mind Ms. Solsi requires all of her stuffing.}

Sammy had no knowledge of the doctor or his reputation, so she had no instinct to recoil other than feeling odd about the innocence of her wound. "That sounds okay," she said, surprised he be so accommodating for such an odd condition. "I think it's just regular type..." she informed, staring at her finger with the glove off that particular hand. "I mean I just got it at work...not like...in a rainforest or anything...you sure it's not eating up too much of your time?" she asked uncertainly, looking up at him with doubtful eyes. A moan from one of the rooms cut Sciurus off before he could answer, but the surgeon just rolled his eyes. "Carlston, Eustace. Here for liver failure, but I'll do nothing until tomorrow because we haven't gotten one in yet. " He focused more fully on Sammy and her hand. "I feared the possibility of glass or metal fragment, but even the wooden ones should be taken care of. There is a chance, however remote, that a splinter could cause a break in the skin or become embedded like a time bomb. Infections are not pleasant."{<3}

The color left Sammy's face when he noted the groaning patient in need of liver transplant, and she couldn't help but make a face at the thought of getting an infection on her finger... Even as a secret super hero she had a weak stomach for health problems... She stiffened her shoulders and emitted a concerned squeak. "Th-that's not happy...you gotta do something!!" she exclaimed, now ten times as worried as when she arrived.OOC: ✌ @w@ ~♥

Sciurus chuckled darkly at the patient's change in color. He couldn't help a little morbid humor, even tomorrow would be very serious. "Come along then..." He headed into one of the empty rooms, looking through drawers for the simple supplies. "Should the low odds ever pop up, there are always antibiotics as well. I am told Amoxicillin has a wonderful bubble gum flavor."

Sammy squeezed her hand protectively, following the doctor in a daze, mind wandering off and imagining all the possible worst-case scenarios. "Amoxicillin? What's that? Is it serious?" she asked shakily, not paying all that much attention and in her panic mistaking it for a disease.

He set things from the drawers on the counter as she came in; two bandaids, alchohol wipes, and had begun rooting through other drawers when Sammy came in. In a drawer with scalpels and other sharp objects, Sciurus saw a pair of tweezers. But his hand twitched over a bone saw at her sudden question, and he had to wait a second. Perhaps I made her too nervous... "No. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic, derivative of Penicillin and often used for low level treatment, such as common bacterial ailments."

Sammy stayed close to the door in the corner, almost as if trying to keep fleeing in terror an option. "S-so it's not fatal?" she asked, still mistaking it for a disease. Looking around she unconsciously searched for something familiar and comforting...like those rolls of stickers they had at family doctor's offices.

Come to think of it, that bone saw didn't even belong in this drawer. What moron did the staff now keep thought it a good idea? Sciurus picked it up, studying it with a frown and testing the weight. He picked the tweezers up with his other hand before he got distracted, but to turn and stare at Sammy with an eyebrow raised, holding both instruments. "I would not think so... Even if I had to cut the finger off, gangrene is not permitted near my patients."

Sammy gulped, eyes widening to see him holding something that looked an awful lot like a saw...in combination with the tweezers she'd come to expect... "W-What are you going to do with th-that?" she stammered, pressing her back against the wall for support.

(Don't you worry about me dear, just glad to see you here. emotion_bigheart *snug-snug* Ooooh, adventures! Tell me more~)Orrin did not understand much of that, other than something burning. Which was nice to hear, he thought. Fire was always good, right? But he had no time to ask about that, as he was starting to hear voices down the hall. The zombie sat right up, with the blanket around him, and went back to hugging the front seat. "L-let's go...! ...Please...?" He tried his very best puppy eyes, hoping that such things might work on mechanical beings as well.

The surgeon was so used to holding and wielding sharp objects that they were like extensions of himself at this point. He couldn't help holding back some movement with them, nor did it ever occur to him to try. "What, this? It's nothing." Sciurus said, raising the saw and waving it nonchalantly. "Just a bone saw, used for amputation..." He mimed its use in the air. "But it doesn't belong in this drawer where some idiot put it. It goes on the rack over there." Sciurus pointed at one of the drawers with the saw before pointing at the wall behind Sammy. "I just need the tweezers really."
