Elkand couldn't hear here as he was still stuck conversing with his curse. It was trying to convince him that ending it all was the way to go and it was much to strong for him to act. The course approached him forcing Elkand down a little bit more, making him cringe in pain. The curse laughed " Look at you, half a dragon and your on your knees." she said " You them sot gifted wizard ever born, they should be bowing to you!" it said however now Elkand was saying what his curse was out loud so Larkanna was able to hear it. Elkand tried to stand bu the force was much too strong as it continued to approach "Your destined to destroy your own kind and anyone in your way and that would include Larkanna." it told him but Elkand tried to resist moving slightly ' I...will not..do it..." he said and the cursed version of him laughed and then allowed Elkand to look up before it snapped at him with its jaws. In Elkand's mind everything went black however to Larkanna she would be hearing him scream out in pain before it ended and he collapsed to the ground in a very deep sleep.

(( Just fair warning as I'm fairly weird..I might try a time skip VERY soon...things tend to get confusing with me around that time as I change up story every thirty pages and by that I mean I just add something new to it and its significantly changed....let me know if you have an issue...if need be we can talk it over... ))

Larkanna listened to him, completely confused as to what was going on within his mind and body, but slowly it dawned upon her what was goining. She tried to help him stand, but the darkness radiated from his body like light from sun and she was forced back several feet, the darkness threatening to force itself upon her, too. She watched in horror as he screamed out in pain and then collapsed just as suddenly as it had come. Crawling forward, she placed his head on her knees as she chanted several different awakening spells, but none prevailed. "Elkand?" She asked miserably, sadness engulfing her like a wildfire within her soul.

Lujei suddenly came through the door with a smile " Oh there you are." he said dropping the body she had in her hands which appeared to be Lillet. She smiled " Its been awhile since I last saw you Larkanna..how have you been?" she asked stepping forward with arms crossed. She had a dark but happy look in her eyes but she was not here to kill Larkanna she was here to do her a small " favor". She smiled " I'm not here to kill you nor am I here to kill yuor wizard...he's not a threat at the moment..I've simply come to tell you something." she said and waited to see if Larkanna would listen or try to attack Lujei.

Larkanna glared up at Lujei, staying silent as she knew that her eyes would show her reply. Finally she asked in a voice filled with hatred, "What on earth did you do?!" She snapped, "Tell me that and then perhaps I'll listen to your words!"

(( Nope, I don't mind whatsoever. ))

Lujei smiled " But your listening now dear." she said " You see I made a deal with the Witch of Waste that in order for her to give her life to me for me to be resurrected I would have to end the reign of the wizards." she said " I just killed the strongest wizards alive in no time." she said " With this loss the wizard community could be brought to its knees in a flash." he said " In fact its already being done and soon witches will be right were they were meant to be." she told Larkanna " However now there is Elkand and a few others but seeing as how your a witch I'll do you a favor." she said " Elkand is going to awaken for quite awhile...and if you want to remain alive I'm going to have to freeze your bond." he said " You will have your power back and no witch shall harm you..but you will have to serve me or I'll not only break yuor bond but end you and Elkand in the most horrible way imaginable." she said " Its your time now dear...whats it gonna be?" she asked holding out her hand knowing if she wasn't going to take it for her own well being she would take it for Elkand's.

For several long minutes, the longest minutes Larkanna had ever endured since first being bound to Elkand, she simply stared at the offered hand. Then, looking up into the dragoness' eyes, she knew that she couldn't lie nor could she break a promise. That was one of the many limitations to being a dragon, or so she'd been told by Wyrm. Nodding, she looked back down at Elkand and kissed him on the forehead before gently laying his head down on the ground. Snapping her fingers, a bed made of the finest materials was beneath him.. "I'll do whatever it takes to bring him back, Lujei." Looking back at Elkand, she had blink several times, her worriedness for him increasing by the second. She didn't want to leave him behind nor do whatever the dragoness told her to do, but if it would bring him back alive and well, then she'd kill herself if the creature before her requested it. Before taking her hand, she said, "But you must keep your promise, just as I will keep my end of it." Then she took the hand, using the last bit of magic that she and Elkand shared to involuntarily seal a promise bond, one that would prevent either from going against their side of the bargain.

Lujei's smiled and spread her wings and flew off leaving Elkand there tough Larkanna would return for his body later

Five years Later

The world as seemingly been changed by witches who are now the strongest and most numerous beings in the land. The city's have been changed completely to fit witches visions being more magical and ethereal in nature. The city's themselves bring together the realm of magic and the physical realm. Wizards have been driving into hiding and those that weren't are held in the dungeon. The silver tower is now the sight of the tower of eternity where Lujei now resides in peace watching over the realm of witches. This tower is surrounded by a gigantic city filled with witches and other creatures existing side by side. Larkanna who made a deal with Lujei did as the dragoness told her year after year having been made with Witch Mother now she resides in a rather large home she modeled after both hers and Elkand's. She is treated like a queen only under Lujei herself surrounded by servants and people who worship and respect her. She did in fact bring Elkand to her new home where he has been in a deep sleep ever since then. Today is Julinea 13th in the season of heat. Larkanna is at home relaxing from a hard month of work where she writes her music as today is like any other day. The sun is bright and the world is in peace however today would be a rather special day especially for Larkanna for Lujei has finally decided to keep her end of the bargain....

Elkand suddenly began to stir in his sleep as he heard a voice a very familiar voice speaking to him Wake up Elkand it told him over and over. It had been five years since he made any movement but for some reason today he felt as if he needed to wake up. The servants around him watched hopefully as he did as they had watched over him for five years with their mistress and had grown to hope he woke up. Elkand heard voices all around him and soon his started to pry his eyes open. He opened his yes briefly before closing them several times until that final time when his eyes opened completely and he sat up. He seemed dazed and lost at the moment and looked around unable to speak. He stared blankly as he started to look around the room. It was completely new to him made of marbel. He looked over at the window and saw the sun was up and heard bugs making noise which were only made in the season of heat. The servant's eyes lit up and they all smiled Go tell, Larkanna He's finally awake! one suddenly yelled loudly making motion to get one to move. One of the servants ran out of the room yelling Mistress he's awake! Mistress he's awake! running towards the music room where Larkanna should be. Elkand put his head in his heads trying to wake up still unable to speak only making small noises to show his head was hurting slightly. The servants kept him in bed Just relax, mistress Larkanna will be with you soon once said to him seeing him try and get up. He looked at his hand and saw his and Larkanna seal mark but it was covered in frost for some reason. He shook his head and sighed quietly looking at the door. He relaized he was on longer in his robes. He was wearing a simple wool shirt and pants and dragon skin socks. He had a necklace around his neck with his family's symbol and Larkanna mixed into one symbol.

Larkanna had just finished an extremely difficult piece as she closed the lip of her violin's case. It was the only thing that she'd kept since her becoming the Witch Mother, the most adored witch since the first witch had been born. Though she should be grateful towards Lujei's 'kindness', she still felt saddened by Elkand's fate and had come to believe that he would never wake and that she would forever live as lonely as she had since she'd returned to retrieve his sleeping form from the barn and brought it to the castle in which she now resided. She stood there, gazing out the window as children played in the streets below, chasing after a tiny cobbler elf as it dashed by in hopes of dropping its order off in time. Her fingertips touched the crystal glass as she murmured, "Wake up, Elkand..." Her voice had lost its musical quality and had become as cold and emotionless as herself.

Then she heard the voice of a servant. Turning just as the door opened and the servant stumbled in, forgetting to bow respectfully, as he nearly yelled, "He's awake! Mistress, he's awake!!"

Larkanna shook her head, smiling sadly as she simply walked past the servant, her movements refined and seemingly weightless as she stepped into the brightly lit hall that was nearly completely composed of windows. "Why five years?" She asked, her tone hopeless. "You say this in hopes of bringing happiness into this place, but I assure you, I have yet to feel his..." Just then, she caught the hint of wizard magic. Instantly, she began to run towards the chambers that had been dedicated to her past fiance, carelessly forgetting about looking like a true Witch Mother and not some hopeless lovestruck young woman. Opening the door, she stepped in, her flame colored hair falling out of their neat pins. She was only in the parlor of his rooms, but she dashed past other exicted servants as she entered the room in which he'd been placed. "Elkand?" She saw him sitting up and she had to stop there, just in case this was some sort of sick dream placed on her by Lujei.

Elkand continued to hold his head until he heard footsteps and this caused him to look up. His eyes widened as he saw Larkanna all went quiet for a moment as most of the servants looked at both Larkanna and Elkand and some of them trying to hold back tears of joy and happiness with the younger ones trying not to shout for joy. Elkand suddenly began to smile as he know somehow that there was a large amount of time between them despite the fact she a looked the same something had changed about the world and he immediately felt it and he spoke finally " Larkanna? Larkanna is that you?" he asked and it took a moment for her energy to come into Elkand's focus and he smiled. It was her just stronger and more refined " It is you." he said happily. The servants pushed Larkanna over to Elkand and stood back watching waiting for something to happen as it seemed very quite as if Larkanna didn't really believe this was Elkand. Elkand then forced himself out of bed a little dizzy as he did but he pulled Larkanna into a loving embrace "Larkanna." he said holding her close.

For a moment, Larkanna simply stood there, still dazed by his awakening. Then, when she was embraced, she hugged him in return, blinking back tears. The lonliness seemingly vanished with his presence. "You were so far gone...." She murmured, a hint of emotion returning to her voice. "I'd begun to think that you'd never wake up again, especially after all of the changes that have been made over the past several years." Pulling back, she helped him sit back down, knowing full well that it would probably take a day or two to regain the ropes of walking and standing. Turning to the servants, she gave them a warm smile, "Please, would you mind going to the kitchens and bringing some food for Master Elkand?"

The servants nodded to Larkanna before leaving the room to gather food for the now Elkand. Elkand looked at Larkanna who really hadn't changed however she sounded a little empty when she spoke. He could only hear a bit of the emotion in her voice which had always been so present before he was placed into a deep slumber. He held her hand as she sat on the bed. His legs felt numb and weak an effect on him lying in bed for five years unable to move. He looked at her " How long have I been asleep?" he asked her " What has changed, this land feels different than it did back then." he said. He tried to move his legs but was hardly able to move them. He held his head " Everything feels hazy at the moment, forgive me if I seem a little lost" he told her

Larkanna nodded, she should have known that he wouldn't know what was going on in this world that she and Lujei had created. "There are few wizards anymore, especially after the death of Lillet and your father. And that was five years ago, the day that you fell into that slumber." She began, "All of the cities were changed to fit the witches' perspective on how they should be built and run. The city in which you are now present is the City of Glass, the capital, and I am the Witch Mother." Taking a deep breath and sitting in the chair next o his bed, one in which she had often sat in while she'd prayed to whatever deity would hear her to bring him back to wakefulness. "All that you see now is of my creation... but I did not choose to force the wizards into hiding, nor did I want to make the world his way. I am merely a... puppet, a figure in place for Lujei." She was not proud of what she was, but it had been the only way to bring him back. "The people seem content with what has happened... so I guess it turned out well enough--"

"Mama?" A little girl peeked her head around the door. She had hair as black as a moonless night and eyes that blazed a fiery amber. Seeing Elkand by her mother, she was about to leave before Larkanna smiled and motioned for her to enter. "Mama... who's that?"

Larkanna picked the child up and placed her on her lap, pushing hair away from the child's face, "This is Elkand, the man I've been waiting for all these years. Remember? I always told you about our adventure before bed."

The little girl looked up at the wizard with fiery eyes, "I'm Ravenia."

Larkanna kissed her on the head before putting her back on the ground, knowing that Elkand would want an explanation. "Why don't you go practice one of your spells to show him later? I'm sure he'd like to see one."

"Okay!" Then the little girl dashed from the room happily.

Looking over at Elkand, she reverted back to her emotionless state, "Please don't ever tell her that I'm not her actual mother. She's the youngest of my siblings. My mother passed away four years ago and I took in my family. Since I look like my mother, she believes that I'm her mother."

Elkand shook his head and stared at the floor with a blank expression on his face "I can't believe it." he said shaking his head slowly. He looked up at her and nodded " Well at least the world is at peace I suppose." he said obviously saddened by the fact the wizards had been driven down from a once powerful community and into a much smaller community but then again the wizards had it coming as they had done this to the witches so long ago. He looked at her " At least you are the witch mother now." he said " That's something I suspect you always wanted." he then heard the voice of a little girl and he looked towards the door. He was confused as to who she was and immediately thought that Larkanna had found someone else and had a daughter while he was deep in the world of slumber. He watched the two talk for a moment and smiled at the girl however his smile was weak for he was still coming out of his sleep. He watched her run off " Adorable." he said rather quietly. He also noticed how happy Larkanna seemed to be but that quickly changed when she turned to speak with him and he listened. He nodded to her " You have my word that I will never tell her." he said and since he was still half dragon he had that fault as well. He then looked over at the door as the servants brought in food for Elkand and Larkanna as well as a little drink to try and wake him up more. They set it down for them to enjoy before they back out leaving the two to talk though it was easy to hear them scream in joy and talk down the hall. Elkand smiled " Your obviously an important figure." he said grabbing ball of Deva fruit and bit into it. He felt its warmth immediately. He looked at his Mark and swallowed the bit of fruit before he looked at her "So how are we still alive, did we only have one year?" he asked her the frost still on his mark.

Larkanna simply placed the tray that she had been given on the table before returning back to her seat, not hungry at the moment. For the first several months of her 'freedom' from their bond, she had refused to even look at food, hoping that she would be left to die and take her misery along with her, but Lujei had forced her to live. She was the main piece of her game at the moment, though she knew that Elkand would be quick to follow. "Being Witch Mother had lost its shine the moment I began to play the role that Lujei had set before me." She replied with a distant look. When he asked about their connection, she frowned a little, "Lujei severed it so that I would not meet my fate before her plans were complete." She still felt sick when she looked down at the mark that had been a symbol of her life before becoming the great leader she now was. Standing, she walked over to the window. "And since it was broken, so was our engagement."

Elkand looked at her and frowned " So then were no longer set together." he said. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath trying to feel his own magic and soul and that he did. He did not feel Larkanna's like he should have. His own had still been corrupted however that darkness had been calmer and much more steady in his slumber. He continued to eat the Deva Fruit in silence. He looked up and around " So much has changed in my absence but it seems for the better." he said "I'm sure I will have to go before Lujei sooner or later so she can decide what to do with yet another wizard." he said
