Kanti nodded slightly, beginning to doze off as she rested against Sanoskue. “Yeah…” she murmured, yawning again.

"Come on, lets go into the den, you seem tired." He said nudging her slightly.

Yawning again, Kanti managed to drag herself to her feet and crawl into the den. “Sorry, I don’t know why I’m so sleepy…”

“Yeah that must be it,” Kanti said with another yawn. She waited for Sanoskue to lie down before snuggling up against him. “Goodnight Sanoskue,” she said softly, resting her head on his side.

Kanti smiled softly and gently licked Sanoskue’s muzzle before drifting off to sleep.

Sanoskue laid there, lost in thought for several hours before finaly drifting off to a sound sleep.

Kanti woke with a start, the voices of other wolves echoing through the den and their scent in her nose. “Sanoskue,” she whispered, nudging her mate’s side. “Sanoskue, please wake up.”

Sanoskue raised his head and blinked sleepily, "Huh wazit?" He asked with a yawn.

Sanoskue raised his head and listened, then a chill ran down his spine as he recognized one of the voices. "Kanti...hide...now." He said, anger filling his voice.
