 The whole time people were looking up at Mortemus with either a look of awe or fear, some of them even looking like they were considering the task given.
David was probably the only one sitting in his seat with his muscles all tightened up and a focused look on his face. Right now, he was just trying to resist the temptation of throwing something at the guy standing up. And it would be so funny too!!
Finally, after the last thing Mortemus said, David had to do something. He stuck his hand out and put his thumb down. "Booooo...."
This caused several people to glance over at him; some with horrified looks on their faces, and others who just couldn't resist laughing a little or struggling to restrain a laugh.
There, that should liven things up a bit...

RikoSeryuji  I'm through living in sorrow... "Hmm...the army?"
Tessa realized that she didn't know much about the Army either; she didn't know a lot about a lot of things.
"I'm not exactly sure, but don't army people have to cut their hair and everything? No way would I do that, I like my hair long. Maybe the police or the FBI ones would make a better job for me. But, I really don't know how I would become one of them...I really...haven't had much of a life since I was 13, so I never really got to learn about getting a job..."
Tessa sat down again, this time looking a bit sad.
"I'm kind of pathetic, I know...I'm not that smart, and I don't have any real skills at all...but I'm trying to keep positive! I'll find something that I can do...hopefully...being hungry is annoying, but it won't kill me."
Tessa turned as a guy walked past the both of him and just grabbed a drink on his own and opened it, plopping himself down on a chair.
"Umm...excuse me, sir, but you have to ask the bartender for a drink...you can't just get one yourself. I'm pretty sure its against the rules..." ...Now, it's time for me to just live. Damion:*sits the knife on the table and alters its weight so nobody grbs it and tries ta kill him* so wat if its against the rules(thinking) oh no i sense him here(speaking)oh no, this isnt good *he then checks the room* (to himself and whispered)not here, not now

*sinks a little low hoping to not have attracted his brothers attention so quickly*
Damion:*a shiver runs down his spine and he jumps slightly*
ugh, hey ya kno, i got a bad feeling that im about ta be jumped
Joseph:heh, is he really that stupid
(note:he just commented that out to the open so people can talk to him hich i hope you do cuz it will make the fight go more Damion's way).
Damion:im in, that contest ive got nuthing better to do, heh, who else is in it.

I'm through living in sorrow... "Oh, it's you...err...Ryu, right?"
Tessa smiled at the man who she had fought before. She remembered that it was a tough fight, and her powers had started to go out of control. The fact that he wasn't scared of her mad her a lot more comfortable. Most people who had fought her, landed a killing blow, and saw her live, were terrified of her, and called her some kind of demon.
"I'm sorry about before, I've stopped picking fights with people. But anyway, what brings you here?"
It was then that Tessa could hear Warren speaking about a job. She didn't pay any mind to Mortemus at all, he wasn't all that interesting or intimidating to her at all, even though he was about twice her height and looked like he used people her size as toothpicks.
"Wait a second, this job...you just have to find and kill this evil guy? But...isn't killing wrong? Shouldn't you try to...catch him and put him in prison or something? Well, I'll try anyway, but do we still get the prize if we catch him instead of kill him? I don't want to hurt anybody if I don't have too..."
Tessa didn't have any idea how she was going to go about finding this syndicate or its leader, but she knew she didn't have to worry about people trying to kill her. As she heard someone in the crowd boo at Mortemus, she got angry herself.
"Hey, excuse me sir, but that is very rude! You shouldn't just boo at someone like that just because they act a little full of themselves. You should apologize right now, mister!" ...Now, it's time for me to just live.

::Warren pushed Mortemus out of his line of sight:: No. If you catch him, turn him into the authorities, and get him sent to prison it will not be enough. Think about it, if a person is sent to jail there is always the possibility of escape. And if that happens the natural reaction of revenge comes into play. He will seek out whomever put him away and attempt to exact said revenge. While killing him in essence is a wrong act there are times when means are justified. This will guarantee he will not disturb anyone or bring any harm to them now or in the future.
::Mortemus allowed himself to be pushed out of the way. He watched Warren speak and slowly shook his head.:: Mages...always trying to be diplomatic. Some things can only be done with force. Hence why I know zero magic at all...only my battle techniques. ::He said this more to Warren and himself than anyone else in the room. He noticed what seemed to be a fight about to break out around two people across the room. He held a hand low and ready to bring his weapon to his hand from its holding chamber. While he did not use magic he could not deny the handiness of a weapon being able to summon itself to the owners hand::
::Eastwood stopped in the middle of cleaning a glass. Something didn't feel right with the bar...besides Mortemus...he never had felt right to Eastwood. Of course he was also basing that off of past actions. Warren was more of a chaotic neutral alignment than evil...he really was a wild card at times. Still he kept an eye on everyone in the bar, his muscle tensing...ready to act.::

Tessa knew that anyone would have quite a bit of trouble if they tried to kill her. She had spent five years trying unsuccessfully to kill herself, so if someone actually could do it, it would be a surprise to her.
"And what do you mean I'm a mage? I barely use any magic at all...maybe I might rip someones soul out of their body or heal someone if its really needed, but for the most part, I just use my sword if I need to fight. I just don't want to have to hurt people if I don't have to...nobody has the right to take somebody's life, so I try not to if its avoidable..."
Tessa looked down to the pendant around her neck. She knew that a large portion of her power was still sealed away in the item. Before, she was losing control, and was close to claiming an innumerable amount of lives. She wondered exactly what would happen if that power was released back into her. Would she go out of control again, and again be a threat?
"...I guess, if this is an evil guy, that somebody has to stop him...Okay, I'll do it. But...err...where should I start looking?" ...Now, it's time for me to just live.

Suddenly, out of nowhere a shruiken flew at him and wacked him straight in the eye. Several people cried out and leapt out of the way, staring in complete horror at David with the shruiken sticking out of his eye. David tapped it. "Hm...that was good luck...normally it would have somehow hit both eyes...." He pulled it out to reveal an empty eye socket. However, then his eye appeared at the surface, coming from the depths of his skull.
He stood up, an irritated look on his face. He pointed at Damian. "Hey! Watch where you're throwing those things!"

  See? Look, she's doing it! Can you at least....Alright! Fine! Katrina had an irritated look on her face from Sayo's constant begging but it quickly disapeared as she spoke. "I guess I'll keep an eye out for this guy and if I see him I will kill him." Katrina shut her eyes and leaned back in her chair. "But I'm not going to go through the trouble of hunting him down. If I just happen to run into him by chance, then I will kill him."
Her eyes shot open as a shruiken was thrown across the bar and hit some guy straight in the eye. Surprisingly, he calmly pulled it out and his eye soon appeared again. What the...? She shook her head. That's just nasty!Isn't that the guy who can swallow coke cans whole?

I'm through living in sorrow... Tessa wasn't paying attention to Damion when he started throwing shuriken around the bar, and as she turned towards him, hearing the commotion, one lodged itself right into her forehead. Only half of the shuriken was visible, penetrating deeply enough so that it had to have penetrated her skull and brain, and blood started to trickle down from the wound.
"Ow, that hurt! What the hell's your problem!?"
Despite the fatal wound, Tessa seemed more annoyed than actually hurt. Her hand reached for the shuriken lodged in her head and she pulled it out, dropping it to the floor.
"Tch, head wounds are always messy...now I'm going to get blood all over my clothes...again..."
Tessa got a few paper towels to hold on the wound and absorb some of the blood, but it was clear that they weren't going to help much, as ble blood was still getting all over her.
"Why are you throwing these things in a crowded place? What are you trying to do, kill somebody?"
There was some obvious anger in Tessa's voice, now she would have to go all the way to her room and take another bath, as well as wash her clothes. And blood was really tough to get out, and really freaked people out when they saw it, this she knew from experience. ...Now, it's time for me to just live.

-ryu was sipping down the rest of his pina colada when a shiruken whirled by and hit his glass and shattered it. people began to scream and all of a sudden tessa got hit right in the head by one. this startled ryu at first then he remembered that she couldnt die- Tessa you ok to fight? i know you cant die but that doesnt mean these innocent people cant. looks like we should do something whadda ya think? -ryu whistled and his armor appeared before him. he touched the orb on the chest plate and took his armored form. he took out his lance and prepared for battle-

::Mortemus was two seconds from summoning his weapon, if for no other reason to spar with someone. He could hold off on his bloodlust, however he did like to keep his skills sharp and he felt he was getting more and more rustic by the moment::

*jumps at him, holding back with full concentration as not to reveal his true form as Joseph was already beginning to do.*

*Jumps right next to him and kicks him in the head knocking him back a little*

*looks around*
What no attatchment to anyone this time, hmm

It looked like some of the shruikens had hit a few people, that kid who could swallow coke cans and Tessa included. Luckily, Tessa didn't seem hurt by it though so that was good.
As the two of them started fighting, screams instantly filled the bar. People scuttled to the outer part of the room in order to avoid getting caught in the fight.
A shruiken flew at Katrina. Her hand shot up and she caught it in between her fingers easily.
Sayo 'tsked' in disaprovement. Honestly, if this is some personal conflict between them can they not just settle it outside?
