Well, regarding Boone not being in the cockpit, I think when the plane started to fall forward, he fell backward first. So he'd run into the chairs when it hit the ground, instead of into the cockpit. Also, it's more dramatic, which is probably the actual explanation.
Also, I know I've been predicting Boone's death because of his rapid personality loss... But this episode, he was back and better than ever! Why?! It's about the right time in the season for someone to die, unfortunately. Episode 19. Only... what, five more episdoes to go?
The creepiest images in this episode were Bloody!Boone saying, "Theresa falls up the stairs; Theresa falls down the stairs," and when Jack tore open Boone's shirt to reveal the carnage. That was creepy as hell.
Heheh, Sawyer got glasses! Sawyer got glasses! *dances around!* Hey, but does that mean he could die? Sawyer is the one who made the reference to Lord of the Flies, right? Oooh, Sawyer, you could die yet... Hope you don't fall off any cliffs and get smashed to death...

Wow... I didn't even know there was going to have a Lost episode(a new one, I mean) until my mom told me. She is my savior or something like that. Anyway, I found this week's episode very, very depressing. *Spoiler in white* I didn't care much for Boone, but Locke.... I felt really sorry for him. Having a scumbag like that for his father and a money-whore for his mother... I mean, Locke is like the comforting person in Lost. He helps Charlie kick his habit, helps resolve fights, builds a cradle for Claire, hunts for the group and all that. But now, he's slowly starting to crumble. The last scene in which he starts crying really moved me. I kind of expected Boone to be badly hurt, but then again, who wouldn't have? It came out clearly in the dream. What I don't get is the plane. What was the thing that Locke was looking for? Was it the signal? Or was it the island's way of punishing Boone for what he did? *End Spoiler* Anyway... All those moments of suspense really keep me hooked on to Lost. Lost forever!

Well, the current going theory is that the island wanted Locke to sacrifice something for what he wanted, and that something was Boone. Poor Boone.
It's debatable whether Locke figured this and let Boone go up to the plane, or if he just didn't connect the dots until it was already too late, or if he even HAS connected the dots.
I can't imagine it's the island punishing Boone for being a six-year-old whose mother never spent any time with him, and as a result he accidently gets his nanny killed. It's not his fault.
I didn't know there was going to be a new episode either until they started to mention it online. So I looked it up and it was so! And then Wednesday I hear advertisements on the radio. On WEDNESDAY. The same day that it was coming on.

Wait, Boone got his nanny killed? I missed that... But I doubt he should be punished for being a bratty six-year old. sweatdrop
I don't think it's fair, though, if Boone had to be the one sacrificed. sad
I don't think Locke's connected the dots yet. He was too distraught. And dammit, now I'm starting to like Locke a little more. Grrr... he's the one I'm against, too.

MeriThranduiliell Wait, Boone got his nanny killed? I missed that... But I doubt he should be punished for being a bratty six-year old. sweatdrop Yeah, he spilled all this... right before Locke sees the plane and starts laughing, I think. Because he says his bit, and then Locke starts laughing, and Boone is all, "WHAT'S FUNNY ABOUT THAT?!" And then Locke points to the plane.
Basically, when Boone was sixish, his mom wasn't around much, and he had a nanny. He would take out his frustration that his mom was always busy out on his nanny by sitting in his bed upstairs and calling her up over and over again on the intercom. One day, she takes a bad step, falls, and breaks her neck. So, it is sort of Boone's fault, but not really.

Is anybody sure of how many episodes left. The numbers keep chaging each time I ask.

Ooh I hope its not Boone, but he did look pretty gross!! * This is probably just me, but did anyone think the hatch look bigger than usual at the end? And with light coming out of it, I thought, SPACESHIP!!! Haha that would be so lame, but a way to get of the island! It looks like a space ship!! I swear, LOOK!!! *

So yeah, it looked bigger than I remember it being from Hearts and Minds, which just re-aired last week. But I don't think it's actually bigger. We're just seeing more of it.
