^.^ x3 Though just so you know since i'm going to the fair I don't know if i'll be able to post at all tomorrow. I most likely will but probably once, may be twice. Depending on the time I get back and what happens in the roleplay from now to then. :/

;~; I am the proud current user of a MacBook, thank you very much! It allows me to go Gaia, whilest getting somewhat bit of sunlight. Sometimes, I even go /outside/ [[Legasp]]! But this is an incredibly rare occassion, hence my whiteness. Regardless, I worship the mobility granted to me by my precious. <3
Hmmm... you probaby just lagged out. If your computer doesn't respond to Maple after a certain amount of time [[computer screen freezing]], it will log you out of the game and post that little pop-up.
Tell me what happens before it says "Not Responding". o.o;

Macs are lovely operating machines for access anywhere, great mobility and a simple interface for any user!  I only used a Mac when I wrote for school paper.
The screen with the recent updates shows and I click play and that was it. Once I was able to make my character but it never starts sad

I know that every time I get on Maple, when I try to log on to the server I lag out at least one before I get in. When you lag out, just try immediately after to get back in again. It sometimes takes me 3 times, but I usually get in eventually. x]

You were right though, Wingle, I'm addicted. One thing I can't seem to figure out is what meso's are for, I'm assuming since they can't be used in the cash shop they are for buy items in the game O_o or are they just pretty things? :Chin tap and ponder:

Meso is the game's currancy. You buy armor and potions and weapons, etc. with meso.
Cash shop items are just things to make you look pretty, or for amusement purposes. I got a little addicted [spend $125 on it so far <<;], so I made a pact to only spend cash shop monies on my pet [pets can pick up the items that monsters drop, so you don't have to -- something /very/ convenient] and 2x exp cards [doubles the amount of exp you recieve during a determined time period each day].
By the way, you don't want to add SP to anything yet. If you have, this might not be a good thing. O.o;
I'll lay out the jobs for you, so you can tell what to spend your SP on :
[Needs level 10 for first advancement] ARCHER : 25 DEX needed for the first job advancement, STR needed to equip bows/crossbows.
[Needs level 8 for first advancement] MAGE : 20 INT needed for the first job advancement, LUK needed to equip wands/staffs.
[Needs level 10 for first advancement] THIEF : 25 DEX needed for the first job advancement, DEX needed to equip claws/daggers.
[Needs level 10 for first advancement] WARRIOR : [either] 30 [or] 35 STR needed for the first job advancement, STR needed to equip swords/blunt weapons/maces/etc. for the first job.
Now what you need to know, is that there are two different attributes needed for each job. One you need to equip items, the second determines the strength of your attacks. Example : Thieves need DEX to equip items, but LUK determines how strong their attacks are. SO, all you need to do is make sure you have enough DEX to equip your items, and then put the rest in LUK. This applies to every job, substituting DEX and LUK with their own different attributes.
Now as for abililities, there is a website that can give you guides on what it is you want to level, that also helps with a lot of things.

But here is what you want to do. You start out on maple island, you get to level 7 by killing the green snails in the first area. Then you move on and complete all the quests in Amherst and Southperry [note : if you're a magician, you don't want to pass level 8 before becoming a magician first]. Once you are done with this, go to Victoria Island via the boat in Southperry, and talk to the Viking guy in the town you find yourself in. When you do his quest and start the quest, go to the ticket place near the large ship you entered the town at, and, by talking to the black-haired guy, go to the town you need to go to for your first job advancement. Complete the quest and get your advancement.
Equip yourself with potions and proper equipment [if you're low on funds, just ask me and I can help], along with arrows if you're an archer or stars if you're an assassin, and head over to Henesys. When you're in Henesys, you'll want to head West through two maps [one map past the Hunting Grounds]. Then you want to go to the very top of the map you find yourself in and look for a small grouping of houses [there should be pigs, green slimes, and stumps wandering around this platform] and run around the houses pressing up until you go through a hidden portal.
You'll want to train in this map until at least level 17, making sure you have the new equipment ready to equip for the levels inbetween.
When you're level 17, talk to me.
