Alex walked along the path of the forest, kicking a little pebble that was in front of him until it fell over the edge. He sighed, shaking his head as he decided to stop there, walking to a tree and sitting by it, next to the edge that the pebble had fallen, leaning on the tree. He pulled out the picture he'd picked up at his home, looking at it for a minute before he folded it, not really very keen on looking at it for very long. Looking out at the valley, he tried to forget everything that had happened so far. It didn't work, and he ended up making a small dent in the tree with his fist, his eyes shut tight as he shook his head to clear his mind.

Haruka took a few steps through the forest. She sighed as she remembered the good old times.

Alex felt himself shake a little bit, cursing under his breath as he put his hands on his head, wish that for just once in his life, everything was just normal. No pain, no madness. . .just strict, normal life.

Haruka spotted a familiar mop of blue hair. "Alex?" She walked over. "Hey...you okay?"

Haruka sighed morosely. "Well, I guess there's nothing I can do about that..." She looked up at him. "Well, whenever you want, you can tell me. I'm not going to force it out of you." She smirked on the inside. 'But I'll force it out of that new guy...'

Alex couldn't help but laugh a bit at her. "I can't believe you didn't notice," he said, trying to control his laughter but failing quite a bit.
