Shin gave alex a slightly shocked look "My poor friend alex, youve spent your whole life under a rock! Definetly need to send you off on a vacation somewhere other than here" he said laughing as he walked up to the water watching the tide come in "City is pretty fun, ive never been much of a country person, but its nice out here, pretty peaceful when your not being attacked by demons"

"Good luck with that," Alex grinned. He knelt down by the water's edge, running his hand through the water. "The country's nice. It's pretty quiet, too. All that's really annoying is the bugs."

Shin reached down into the water watching alex as he scooped it up splashing it at the boy "Rather deal with bugs than demons lex" he said laughing, stepping back from the boy, into the water.

Alex shivered as he felt the water, looking up at Shin. "Alright. That was a cheap shot." He smirked, circling his hand in the water before splashing right back at Shin. "And trust me, the bugs were huge."

Shin smiled freezing the water that came towards him, smiling as he watched it heavily drop back into the ocean "Try again lex, I still say id rather deal with huge bugs than demons...just so long as they arent spiders I dont mind them" he said laughing little pillars of frozen water popping up around alex.

"Ah. So it's like that, huh?" Alex laughed, looking around himself at the pillars. He put a hand on one, a small warm breeze flowing between the pillars and melting them. Then he rested his hand on the ground as he took control of the air and sent it at Shin.

Shin laughed feeling the air around him, "Oh no, im windswept its horrible!" he said laughing his hair and clothes blowing around him "Atleast im not wet lex" he said smirking splashing water out at the boy "I should just freeze you in place, hah watch you get soaked"

Alex shivered again when he felt the water though a grin stayed on his face. "Oh, wow. Underestimating me now, huh?" He made a small current form into a whip-like thing before it zoomed right under Shin's feet in an attempt to trip him.

Shin cursed loudly as he was tripped falling back into the water with a loud splash, sitting there laughing now partly soaked "Oh your so funny you know that!" he said smiling happily, ice creeping up over alexs head, turning into snow above him.

Alex laughed, dusting off his hands and running one through his hair, ignoring the snow a little, though holding his hand out for a couple drops. "Funny? Nah. You brought it on yourself, you with your foul mouth," he said simply as he merely melted the ice over his head with a warm breeze and stood up. "Shall I continue?"

"Ya know lex, if I didnt know any better, id say your having fun" shin said standing up "Youd best continue lex cause im not letting up just yet" he said smirking as he lashed out at alex, a spray of icy water leaping at the boy.

Alex didn't answer, merely stepping aside from the spray, a smile on his face. He snapped his finger and a jet of air shot up from behind Shin, spraying water everywhere. "You're not letting up? Alright. I'll go as hard as I can then!"

Shin laughed happily as he was soaked from behind shaking it off "Oh not fair! Attacking from behind" he said laughing still, the water around alexs feet suddenly shooting up raining down on him, most of it like ice shavings.

Alex shielded himself with his arms, getting drenched. "I'm not fair? And you're using ice!" he answered back, barely concealing a grin. Something pounded a little painfully in his body, though he brushed it aside; he wasn't about to give in right now. "If only Sasha were here. Then she'd be able to really get you. But me? Nah. I'm stuck with controlling air currents." He merely concentrated and some cold currents of air danced around Shin.

"Ah, youd team up on me! That would be twice as unfair lex!" he said shivering as the cold air ran over him making the water even colder "Cold cold!!" he said laughing, wishing things were warm again "Did I mention I dont like air!" he said the slushing ice water washing over alexs feet, shin shivering and laughing to much to do much of anything.
