The Sanrio store in the town like 2 hrs south of me sells harajuku lovers stuff. first of all it makes me sad how could hello kitty betray me like that. but second of all all the harajuku lovers crap in the store has oranges on it. what the heck kind of randon fruit is an orange?

I know! seriously, i think the Sanrio Store should focus mainly on the Sanrio characters... not like beanie babies and what nots. it really doesnt make any sense.

Though, harajuku lovers brand... is ok. if people like it, they like it.

It annoys me how she doesn't really know what she's talking about. Like blackusagi said, it's a place in Japan where a lot of Japanese fashions take place, not a fashion style. And you can't represent all those fashions in one clothing line anyway!
I also hate how she makes those 4 girls tag along after her and she pays them to giggle at everything she says.

What she basically does with those Japanese girls is basically slavery. As far as I've heard they're not allowed to speak English in public and stuff as part of their contract. Though I'm not sure if that's entirely true or not. Regardless SHE dresses them up, they don't dress themselves in their regular styles.

I know it's horrible! From what I've heard, she treats them like toys.

The whole thing pisses me off. I once saw an interview where the interviewer asked one of the girls a question. Gwen said ' don't talk to them they are a figment of my imagination.'

this is ridiculous. I think that girl needs a good shake

If they signed a contract with her it was their choice. There are always alternative options.

I agree to both sides. First of all it was their fault for signing a contract, secondly, i mean this is so much proof that shes just a stupid act just like Fergie and those other lame wannabes.

This is just sad >.<

Okay. I like a few of the bags, but that's it. The rest of it is mainstream trash. She's completely misrepresenting everything Harajuku has to offer. She hasn't properly done any of the fashions seen in Harajuku, let alone all of them. And I honestly hate how she treats those Japanese girls.

I like Gwen Stefani in some ways.
I really liked her video for What You Waitin' For.
And I thought she was great in No Doubt.

But she really gives the wrong impression about the fashion.
Having those 4 girls stand near her and all dress the same just takes away from the point of being unique and original.
Also how she treats them is pretty weird. sweatdrop

How does she treat them? O:

I don't like Harajuku lovers. It is soooo boring, just like the brown m&ms.

Aw, I like Gwen Stefani. Music and style-wise. I think LAMB is too expensive, and Harajuku Lovers is kinda pricey, but I like it better.
HOWEVER. I do not think that she is the top authority for anything about Harajuku. And I think it's kinda crappy how she's turned it into a 'style' instead of, you know, saying what it really is. o.o
... I like the bags in HL. They're adorable. I wish I had one. >_> None of her stuff has anything to do with lolita, though.

Well, she gets them to bow to her and go on their knees in the music videos and stuff. I know they're paid to, it's just really weiiiird. stare
