AntoniaMerEnfant Se Ga Takai Yuuko_anne BUT MAN those heels... does everything have to be an ankle breaking knee jarring 4-6 inches! what happened to cute 2 inch heels? I don't want to tip toe around for gos sake sorry to go back to the first page, but I felt the need to comment. Demigoddess and I got married a few weeks back, and we were trying to find a pair of Heels for her that would match the wedding dress. Not so much heels, but pretty White Wedding shoes. Don't try and find anything in less than a 2" Stilletto Heel for cheap(she was only wearing them once...). We had to go to Dillards and drop almost $70 on a pair of heels that she was only going to wear once, just to get some good looking Wedge Heels. It's official now? Yay! Here's to your promotion from fiance to husband, congratulations!!! It's more of an upgrade, really. Installing new hardware and all. Had to make sure he was compatible with my system too. I'm happy to say that we're running smoothly. blaugh

My only deal with fashion nowadays is that younger generations look at what older generations are doing and think it's acceptable. If you're 23 and you choose to walk around looking like a prostitute, then that's fine, but don't be around kids when you do so. I've had a ton of parent/teacher conferences where the mother or the older sisters are dressed in things that are...well..."highly inappropriate." If people are cautious about what they wear and wear the crazier fashions in ways, manners, and locations that don't influence future generations, then I guess I'm okay with it.

You have a point, we do lead by example. Prostitots as my boyfriend calls them, bring sorrow to my heart. I need to be careful about the statements my own dress code makes. Usually I don't wear revealing clothing except when I'm at a nightclub (where naturally you get carded so kiddos aren't present).

I've no real objection to adults who want to skank themselves out. They're old enough to know what they're doing. What I really find disturbing is thongs and super low rise jeans ans belly shirts for 7-10 year old girls. When I see some little girl in a mall with her mom and you can see her thong underwear and it aint Fruit of the Loom, as well as navel piercings and crop-tops showing WAY too much, I just want to slap the mom for letting the kid dress like that. It's child porn, nothing more. And we wonder why there are so many more cases of child molestation now than when we were young.
