But world war three will probebly happen via only one way: North pole.

Due to global warming (which will be followed by global cooling in a few centuries due to the balance of nature) the north pole is of course melting and the stretch of ocean up there is passable now. Now the main countries in the world want access to this spot. Already russia canada america and europe have huge claims to drill for oil and oil sand flats for fossil fuels. The only reason a country goes to war with another is for money it barely is about religion anymore america went to war with iraq to "liberate" it of it's oil. Not as a good will mission (you don't see the military in africa handing out food and fixing world hunger as everyones top priority do you? No it's all in poor countries what could they possibly give to america or anyone.)

But anyway back on track. We'll have russia america/canada and europe fighting over the north pole soon or a later. Especially america as they have the smallest land claim. Hopefully it won't turn out to a nuclear haulacost because if that happend life on earth would cease to exist. Luckly the principle of "mutual destruction" keeps countries from blowing the s**t out of each other.

It's not that it's just a hassle to change, fossil fuels just work much better in our engines. We've had so much time to make an engine that runs off of them that in comparison corn oil and all other alternative forms are inefficient.

I also think that it the prices wouldn't be that great even if we did switch, then the demand for (insert resource) would skyrocket and we would be dealing with the same problems.

hmm the question isnt if there is gonna be a WW3 the ? is if there is gonna be an armed WW4.. WW3 has been going on for many years, thou it dosnt seem that way.
its a fact that money is the motivation for warfare, ( as someone already explained ) religion is an excuse for warfare, and well alot of you mention china.. too bad those guys arent religious at least they claim to be a communist state thus being atheists.
russia is controlled by money just like the US and russias top men are dependant upon US capitalists to keep their own capitalism alive, so no armed conflict there.. unless the US attacks first because the US goverment is largely composed of greedy bastards with little care for either their own population or that of other countries.

now i saw WW3 has been going on for a long time.. let me explain:
A war is a large scale project that involves taking over other countries, the initial tactics was military conquest but thanks to the wonders of modern media, violence is not the preffered weapon anymore, (only for use in countries with extreme censorship that prevents Western media from broadcasting to the population) . The US entertainment industri has been taking over for years now, the trends of europeans and asians alike are leaning more and more towards the Americans, also the amount of violent and depressive news broadcasted in europe and asia has gone up severely since US investors took an interest in foreign companies, the idea is to surpress people into not realising they are hostages of their own government which evidently have had widespread succes in the US, just look at the difference in hostility between US and canada towards foreign countries, WW3 is a media war thats been waged since the 60's and its getting one hell of a foothold thru the last 20 years or so.. i know for fact that my generation is alot more hostile and fearful than my parents generation because they werent manipultaed by the media to see everything foreign as a threat. ( alright alot of em are oldfashioned and just dont like change and thus act with a certain degree of racism, but thats just stupidity of humans at its finest ).
anyway this discussion seemed more centered around violent warfare so heres my take on it:

nukes; now isnt that a great invention? all the big players have them and noone wanna use them.. why? because the ones that launches the first one is gonna have the rest of the world hate them and bomb their asses into the stoneage, humanitarian views are resposinble foir this fact because its "unfair" to use such a massive weapon against civilians.. yeah right!! who here would prefer to be maimed by a landmine and lie around in the streets for a few days before dying ? humanitarian views are bullshit but none the less the p***y humans are really into this s**t.
bottom line is, nukes wont play a big part in any upcoming wars. planet aint big enough for the biggies and tactical nukes arent considered nukes and therefore completely okay to use, but wont have the devastating effect on the environment.
if it comes to air war the US wins.. one carrier.. ONE!! carries so much airforce it accounts for 5% of the rest of the entire worlds collective airforce.. meaning 10 carriers = half the worlds airfirce.. now im pretty sure the US has more than 10 carriers, and since carriers are ships, well water warfare isnt really an option to the rest of the world either..

land war.. the US does not have any borderlines that are big enough to support a landwar invasion thusly its out of the question..

then what? the US is invincible? more or less, its military is mostly off-shore, its generals are secured in isoalted areas away from the bigger cities, and the US soldiers will only hear about the loss of 95% of the population if the generals wanna demoralize the army.. which they dont! ergo, the US military will be effective even if the US collapses and as such they chances that the US will actually prevent invasion on a large scale is slim.. since its costly and pintless ( after all if you manage to quell the opposition abroad you can always enslave their population and carry on with their "democracy" ). the facts are that the US uses more money on military than the rest of the world put together.. if this isnt enough to tell you who is going to win then what is? and as far as the death toll matters: no point in restraining the destruction, it only takes a few miserable people for you to feel good about yourself right?

somewhere along the lines i lost my objectivity and got carried away inconsistensies are highly likely in my post so go ahead and falame away you patriotic bastards ^^
ps: i dont hate the US citizens, i pity them and hate their government.. just like i hate the european goverment and pity my fellow eurotrash for being a bunch of blissfully ignorant meatsacks.

Yeah I'll take the basis of this... Ok What I think will happen is that each country is gonna want a share of the Fuel that is at the northpole I think??? And Its going to cause arguments and eventually we will be cast into a war... Maybe... But I doesn't seem likely...
