Ganondorf: I was really surprised since I thought that I would suck with him. I played with him once and we just clicked. My fighting style was perfect for that character. I dodged a lot and knew how to pull of small combos with big finishes. I'm good with the others characters, but I am omnipotent with Ganondorf.

Go white young link fast and go fire arrows I play ranged in general but can hold my ground melee

My favorite character is kirby. I like his down+b attack and his rapid punch. The ablity to suck people up helps too.

I like using link cause he uses a sword (swords are cool!!) and is an all-porpuse charachter well balanced bit slow and dont know howbut luckly inmortal n_n, fav character, spin atack helps a lot when punching bag(hate that bonus)

I used to pown so hard with Kirby on Super Smash 64, but on melee he's just so slow and his attack aren't as powerful. That's why I switched to Samus, Mr Game and Watch and Princess Toadstool. Samus is medium speed and has extremely powerful attacks both ranged and melee, Game and Watch is fast (but slow compared to Fox) and ultimately powerful, and Peach...the turnips. Oh the turnips. My friends all hate them.
I'll let you in on a secret eek . You know how in Super Mario 2, if you pulled up enough turnips you'd get a starman? Well if you pull up enough in Super Smash Melee, then you get a powerful item. We never play with items (makes the battle ridiculously easy) but I once pulled up a double strength beam sword and a one-hit KO bob-omb. Also you gotta love the sound her frying pan and tennis racket make stressed . And if you ever get into trouble..."Ha ha, try and catch me (cruising at 30000ft)". mrgreen
And a lot of people seem to like Sheik, but I pown (not that I use her often) so much more with Zelda. Din's Fire rocks and Farore's Wind is great for pissing people off. So's Mewtwo's teleport now that I think about it. My friend Zac used to use Mewtwo to fly in circles around the North Castle (Zelda II) arena. Very annoying.

I like being Zelda because she has two sides, kind of like a doubled-personality type thing if you've ever played the actual series. Her regular form allows her to use magical attacks. While her jumps are lacking, her attacks, if used properly, are extremely strong.
When she changes into Shiek, her physical attack value is raised, she's much speedier, and an array of weapons are recieved.
Oh...and she's the only girl in the game I can actually play well with. x3

In Melee Young Link is my best character because he has those great moves and he's small and fast. He does lack power, though. In the N64 game Kirby was my best.

red/Roy:so ******** strong and good with his sword
marth:fast and his sword rox the fastest one in the game
red/Link:fav character ever(im good with him)
red/Yung link:fast as marth and is harder to hit(needs more power tho)
red bow/Jigulipuff(i have no idea how to spell her name) i can kick any slow character with
her (and only one to beat the "showdown"in the events)
green/Zelda/shike:zelda is good at long range attacks and shike is faster than marth
change them till nana is infront/ice climers: 2 players!!!!
pink/Doc.Mario:is stonger than normal mario but slower (i like strength)
black or red/bowser:the stongest one in the game but slow as hell
they r in no special order exept Roy he rox xd

I like Pikachu the best cuz he is fast but he isn't too much of a light weight like fox. He has some good projectiles and he always keeps coming back!
