I love Poe's work! So much I even did my English Literature coursework on him... I compared The Raven to Dracula. The Raven is definitely, definitely my favourite poem ever by far. heart

DarkPrincesa Well I read a few of his stuff today at work.. and I think Annabel Lee is my favorite. I may be bias because I LOVE how Rogue reads it in their song. *nods in agreement* I ended up memorizing Annabel Lee because I listened to Rouge's reading of it a few too many times! ^^;; However, he actually screwed it up slightly. Where he says "...we loved with a love that was more than a love" he was actually supposed to say "...we loved with a love that was more than love". I suppose I'm just an over-obssive literary geek... sweatdrop

I have a super thick book with all of his work in it. My personal favorite poem is the black cat. My favorite story is the fall of the house of usher.

Cask of Amontillado is my all time favorite story of his without a doubt. Although the Pendulum is good but it doesn't have an ending I...agree with.

Personally i prefer The Bells. However all the rest are also good. I did the black cat for a class in High school. I had to memorize it and preform.

okay. i love edgar allen poe. i have the Complete Collection of Short Stories and Poems by Edgar Allen Poe and i've read it twice. i couldnt really pick one fav but it's a tie between the raven, annabell lee, lenore, and the bells. i know i'm forgeting one, but i cant remeber... heart

My favourite is "The Raven", of course.
My teacher recommended for me to read
"A Tell Tale Heart", so I will have to do that.
