God of Laundry Baskets Mmm.. 3nodding I prefer BL, I dont really like the explicetness of yaoi, though sometime I find a one that I absolutly adore. I just like it cute and fluffy though if they have some very obvious hints of yaoi i wont mind whee Same. ^_^

Hmm... shounen-ai (not meaning shota - thought it's okay in small doses) is the extent of my (current) writing capabilities, so it's the preferable one of the two.
However, as long as it has a good plot and it isn't overly explicit, I can go for a good slash/yaoi story now and then. They're good for battling small bouts of depression wink

I like shounen-ai(softcore yaoi, not shota) better just because it's cuter, takes less smuggling on my part ("no, mom, that one's a girl!"), and because you get more relationship-building for the most part.
Not that I don't like yaoi. ^^

Well the thing is I would look/read yaoi any day over the normal shounen-ai because most of the shounen-ai fan fictions are badly written (there are allot of badly written yaoi ones too) Just saying I would like yaoi over shounen-ai.
When it comes to Fanart I like yaoi over shounen-ai most of the time. (If I can find it you see)

i can't really decide but i say that shounen-ai is like level 1 then yaoi is level 2 that is what i think of it

I read yaoi most of the time now, simply because... well of the man smex. However, sometimes I want more story and I choose shonen-ai over yaoi.

I love the shounen-ai Gravitation! But I must admit that I prefer yaoi...for obvious reasons. (scream of delight)
