I thought I was the only one who has heard people say that!
Where did this assumption come from?
Link is so slow,
and it's not like he even has any outstandingly-pwning moves,
so why is he always thought of as a "cheater" character?

that move is the Egg Toss if i'm not mistaken, Komichi Iikagen. and as for the tier thing, i usually use the lower tier characters only because most of the top tier characters annoy me and fill me with hatred towards them.
usual characters- Roy(main), Link, Kirby, Doctor Mario, Yoshi.
and of course, ones i loathe with a passion- Falco(but suprisingly not Fox), Zelda/Shiek(i consider them the same), Peach.
noob saying from my friend that shall remain unknown (he's right behind me, lol)- "Why doesn't my shield work?! i'm pressing the X button!"

ooh ooh here's one that i hear very often, "dont use grabs they're so cheap" when I hear that it makes me think omg you stupid noob, if its in the game use it. you only dont like it cuz you either suck at it or never did it before.

"Kirby's Up Air A attack is SOO cheap!!!", after he was Samus standing on one side of Hyrule castle shooting repeatedly at me and my friend while we were fighting on the other side xd .

Owaera ooh ooh here's one that i hear very often, "dont use grabs they're so cheap" when I hear that it makes me think omg you stupid noob, if its in the game use it. you only dont like it cuz you either suck at it or never did it before. ah grabs, they so useful with alot of characters. you probably know the dashing regular grab don't you?

because people who play as Link, unless they're actually really good, will try to abuse two of his best moves. the aerial down stab and the spin cut on the ground. and then people think that's cheap and call him a cheater and there's the answer to that question.

That's really funny that someone would think that.
It's like saying... "Dude, attacking me is cheap!"

*After beating my friend repeatedly* "Why do you keep using the shield and rolling?" (This was before I knew how to wavedash.) "It's so cheap!" I just looked at him for a while before saying, "Because I don't want to get hit maybe?" Then I beat him again xp .

dont you hate it when someone says"stop using the same character" but then they get pissed because you use a different character and still win.
