Hey Kiddies! I am so glad that my thread has blossomed as it has! Thanks everyone for contributing and helping others out! Keep the links a'comin'!!
I have a KANJI link that will help many of you. All you need to know is your hiragana and katakana and from there you can get to know the Kanji. I have to warn you>> when you enter this site the Kanji may be intimidating BUT once you get to the drill its smooth sailing. This website is for those wanting to study Kanji for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) but it is sooo good for others too who want to get Kanji vocab under their belt. I think your PC must be able to read Japanese writing!
http://www.jlpt-kanji.com/
My recommendation is to click VOCABULARY>> Look at the lower right and choose what level your skills are at. 1= Fluent 4=Beginner>> From there things should be self explanatory! You work with 10-14 kanji at a time and you can choose for each word to see the Meaning, the kana or a full dictionary read. No timers. No pressure.
CHECK IT OUT!!!
