Layla DVanouse Narcissus In Chains was where it got really bad. I'm almost scared to pick up Incubus Dream... I mean its turning into a bad prono. Almost borders on erotica in some cases and it is not always tastefully done. Sometimes its chapter after chapter of sex.. And it gets old. I know Cerulian Sins was almost nothing but. Then randomly there is a killing. It's like the Arduer rules everything. WHY DID SHE HAVE SEX WITH JASON? That ruined it for me. She was NEVER supposed to do that and went and did it. That made me hate her... I mean I love Jason.. I loved him teasing her about sex not doing it. That just made me so mad. I agree, the whole thing just seems to be random sex scenes that she justifies by saying that she was taken by the ardeur. I think the last couple of books had more or around the same amount of sex scenes as the Merry Gentry series and the main theme in that series is basically sex.

There was a point where the sex was alright, but in Cerulean sins it got a bit odd. The series kind of loses it's edge when all the hawt guys are screwing one chick. **shrugs** But then again, there is reason why she has to ******** because of that studed auduer. ((dont eat me if I spell something wrong))
sweatdrop sweatdrop All around, I kinda like the reads, and I do read them in school, hell I've got half my friends hooked on them, and they doen't even like novels that deal with vampire's and werewolves. Though, most of them arent' in it for the lemon scenes. **shrugs** some are.
I think it got a bit over the top when she ******** Jason and/or Micah. (not at the same time..of course) but those two didn't really NEED to happen...

I never thought Anita was one for casual sex...at the beginning of the series she went on and on to Richard that she wouldn't have sex before she was married...then all that suddenly changed as soon as she started having sex with Jean Claude *rolls eyes*

the sex in the killing dance was bearable,i managed to read the blue moon scence but in NIC i was disgusted and skipped bits. In CS i was devestated, Anita and Jason having sex is wrong! I like Jason but he is only meant to tease Anita! From what I hear of Incubus dreams,it dosen't sound any better....it sounds worse! crying Why?! crying

I'm not quite sure how I feel about Anita and Jason having sex. That little detail didn't bother me. Sometimes I think I like Jason better than most of the males she's currently doing. He's a good character. I kinda hope he doesn't get swept up onto to the list though. I don't want him to change into just another meal. I see a lot of people dislike the increasing smut levels in the series too. I take it that majority of the fans (not just in the guild) aren't too happy with the series since NiC came along. I'll just say Anita's surrounded by lots of worthy men but some things should just be left to the imagination. I think in this particular series it would be just as interesting reading about the temptation our butt kicking girl has to deal with than flat out orgies. Leave that to the tons of fangirls who adore writing anitaxtheuniverse fan fiction.

agreed. It was alot better in the beginning, but for some weird reason I like her Meredith Series, but then again, her main character doesn't end up seeming like a hypocrite which is what I think might be the biggest things that annoyed me.
I mean, the random sex scenes are annoying as hell, but the fact that in the beginning she kep talking about having had only one lover and that she didn't sleep around, and you guys all know the rest since you've read it but basically that's a major factor in the books going downhill in my opinion.
Hopefully the next book will be alot better.

I am sorry, but if he doesn't want to have sex with anothe man along with Anita, then there is no way in hell that he just change his mind.
