i have always wonder who was his parents, but before i even seen lee i thought it was gai or something, but its not. I love to know who his parents are. Maybe they will make a movie about or something like he goes looking for them. i think that would be kinda cool.

I think his parents either died or had to abandon him. They do not mention many characters parents, but they all seem to have homes. I have always imagined Lee living alone because he is an orphan. It is a possibility his parents were killed by the 9 tailed fox, but he never mentions that either. So i think he was abandoned because he has no idea who his parents are, other wise i think they would have made him have a monologue on the subject by now.

He was a orphan. Gai Sensei was his mentor, not father. Although I think he's Rock Lee's guardian.

Lees parents abandoned him because they thought he was an embaresment to there family due to his limitated capebilitys as a ninja.Gai then found lee crying and alone and basicly adopted him.[just a long thought out theory].

i dont think guy is his dad, i remember one of the lee flashbacks while he was fighting in the chunin exams, and it was when Guy first saw lee, and he was in the ninja academy.

XOX_Misa_Amane_XOX i think gai might be his dad casue when lee was fighting gaara i think gai was going to cry!!!! and when he was like " cause Lee is..." i think he was going to say my son im sure of it!!!!!! I thought he was gonna say special. Maybe Chuck Norris is Lees father hahaha.

When you think about it, a lot of parental figures are just ignored, like TenTen, Sakura, and Lee of course. It's not that they're dead or abandoning, they're just mysteries that haven't been introduced yet.
