i use the weapons that are already given to the characters *duh* but my friends and i never use weapons during serious battles and when entering tournaments the rule is usually no items. They can be cheap and alter the match drastically. we set items on only if we just wanna kick back and have fun, blaugh

Of course with competition, not having items is a good way to make it even, but you have to have items if you want to maximize your enjoyment, right? Isn't that the whole point of having them there for your vs. matches? =P So I use them. x3

I use pokaballs cause there fun 2 use but if its a sereous game ill turn em off

Using weapons is fun, but I'm sure alot of you will admitt its not entirely skill based if you can turn the tide of a good match with one lucky item

weapons are lame, unless its explosives to make the match as chaotic as possible.

I seldom play with items. Usually it's because my brother gets all pissed off when we use items, but when he's not playing we sometimes play with all the bombs (set very-high) or a low/medium setting with beamswords, parasols and bats.
The only items I will never play with are hammers and pokeballs. This one annoying player that is usually over at my house playing the game tries to run away as much as possible and only use the pokeballs. Hammers are just annoying for me, since the head always falls off for me.

i use beam sword it easy and fun i use pokeballs but only when i have to everthing else i will use somthimes

items are made to alter matches, or to give the underdog a chance. also. if you think that you are a great fighter. then you should know how to use and avoid items. if you can't, then you either aren't as good as you say or you are the most unlucky person ever. more likely the former than the latter.

dablackgoku2 wow14 it doesnt really matter i mean if there are no items then nobody is at a disadvantage but if there are then sometimes its luck i can play both ways and i am used to both ways but items are fun when playing friends and then they get screwed over 3nodding Right. confused but me and my friend play without so there's no distractions among the matches. Cause it's all about skills with us. wink using items IS a skill.
