I think I could've read Order of the Phoenix in 12 hours - but I decided to take it slow and make it last. It didn't help that my friend was calling me every hour asking me if I'd finished so she could borrow it.
I ended up reading it in two days, lol. ><

I don't remember how long that took. X) It was between one and two days.
I read the fourth one for nine hours straight, went to bed at 8:00 am, then finished it in like two hours after waking up, lol. Fun times.
Sometimes it's nicer to take a book slow though. =) Like Mary Russell books. They rule all.

I don't remember how long Goblet of Fire took. Probably a week, because I actually *did* force myself to read that one slowly, and that was before my friends were into Harry Potter, so I didn't have them bugging me.
5th one though, got home from the Midnight Magic Party at about 1AM and read until 6AM - then forced myself to put it down and go to sleep, lol. Harry Potter books are classic "one-more-chapter" books for me.

Once I get into ANY good Medieval Fantasy book, especially if it's by a British author, I don't know why so don't even ask, I have a hard time putting it down....
Like my current obsession, The Coldfire Trilogy by C.S. Friedman. Anybody heard of it?
My demon scholar-sorceror dude!

Legend of Luke is one of the best books I've ever read, Brian Jacques or not. And Vilu Daskar is one of my top five favorite villians, just by the way his character is described by Brian.

Ahh Redwall. I remeber I started reading Martian the Warrior. *distant look in the eye* BOoks were my escape from the outside world. I wasn't very popular. It might have been because I spent soo much time in the library. -_-' but yea I started in 4th grade along with the Hobbit, Lord Of the Rings, and other stories of that sort. xp I'm such a nerd! But yea. Ok I think that badgers are the coolest. The duel charastics that are apperant in ALL of them. That's just awesome. They are the ones that closeset resemble humans. Capable of loving and hating at both the same time. And the Bloodwrath, it aslo intrests me.
Umm lets soo oh yea dragon riders of Pern...I want to hear more about that series, if you could send me information I'd love to get into that series. 4laugh

I my personal opinion the best ones are:
1. Redwall (Can't beat the classics) 2.Taggerung 3.Martin the Warrior 4.Mattimeo 5.Outcast of Redwall
I think the poll is unfair because I like all of them equally but I think the ones named above are just written better.

Wow, nobody's mentioned my favorite book or creature. razz Sorry but I'm biased to high Heaven when it comes to foxes. XD But if I had to pick a favorite goodbeast, I'm partial to the bats, though they're not mentioned much. confused As for my favorite books, Bellmaker kicks! Along with Rakkety Tam; a Scottish squirrel; what more could you want? mrgreen I can remember the very first book I picked up of his; it was Salamandastron. I liked the way it looked and was impressed by the hard-sounding title (I was pretty small at the time XD). I love them to death, even though my favorite species always seems to die in each story. neutral
